Visited here on Thursday, mid-morning in early December. Had a short wait outside until a table was available. Staff were very friendly and chatty and this is a very popular place. Good range of breakfast/brunch/lunch options. Food arrived quickly and was tasty. Thank you, keep up the hard work.

Came her for the long tasting menu and what an incredible experience it was. 15 courses of some of the best food I've ever eaten. The texture and the flavours were mind blowing. The desserts we had were better than all the Michelin star restaurants in Birmingham. The experience was brilliant and the staff were great. I will definitely be back for the food but the desserts were amazing.

If you want to enjoy exceptional food in Birmingham give this place a try. It’s a small intimate setting and the owners are hands on with your dining experience so you appreciate the passion and care they have for their customers . The food was very good amazing flavours and textures. It was hard to choose a favourite BUT the Wagyu was something else and to hear how they cook it was fascinating.

Fantastic experience for my birthday. My girlfriend was kind enough to take me here to celebrate and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were fantastic and the food was outstanding. A real feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. If you like fine dining this is fabulous.

Exceptional. Food: Diverse menu, Imaginative, Creative, and a sensory adventure. Ben Tesh & his team offer Birmingham serious Foodies a treat for all senses. Drinks: The wine flight adds another dimension to the food, bringing out subtle flavours and experiencing the wines change with each mouthful. Service: Staff were extremely attentive, friendly & knowledgeable about the menu, including where all the produce was from, including wines. Atmosphere: Exactly what you would expect with a fine dining experience, Clean, Crisp, modern dining, a bright restaurant with Minimalist decor, clean bright toilets with nice soap & Moisturiser. All the dinnerware, Cutlery & glass wear was tactile, modern & luxurious. This enhanced our experience. Value: Three of us spent £400 it was worth every penny. We would highly recommend, and we can’t wait to return.

First of all, I want to say that John and his team are very good people. The level of professionalism they displayed while they carried their work is indeed commendable. I will recommend B&B Electicals Ltd to my family and friends without having any second thoughts. To add, they were quite fair with their pricing which I considered very reasonable. Thank you very nuch John for a beautiful job. Cheers

Couldn’t be happier with the experience I’ve had from start to completion from B&B electrics. Installed EV charger and other jobs such as moving sockets to allow for new front door. Sensible quote, expert workmanship and a genuinely lovely team. Will definitely continue to use and recommend to family and friends. Thank you.

Excellent service, a very reasonable price and friendly. I had electricity taken to my garden room via an armoured cable. They completed the work to a high standard and installed plug points, an LED strip light and an outdoor security light. They also installed a new plug socket in the house as well. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and I would highly recommend.

Excellent job completed in super quick time. From the initial quote to the job being done, everything was great. New spotlights and sockets throughout the house look amazing. Thanks guys.

I recently completed a 4 week set of courses at the centre with Dave to go from no experience in electrics to qualified in domestic installation and testing. Can't recommend it enough. Dave has a wealth of knowledge on the field and made things as pain free as possible at every stage. They are always making sure you are happy with the training you are receiving and asking for any feedback or suggestions. If you are looking for a training provider, I highly recommend WMD.
Rating: 5 / 5
I highly Recommend WMD Electrical Training Centre to everyone who want to become an electrician. I did my qualifications with WMD. Jim is an excellent and very great tutor, who knows how to deliver the knowledge easy and effectively to the students. David senior is very knowledgeable and knows how to explain the electrical theory in a simple and plain language, even a baby would understand him. What about David Junior? David Junior is Amazing, David Junior always wants the betterment of the student and always there to assist the students when needed. Thank you very much WMD for the knowledgeable and experiences you gave me, I am forever grateful. I am only writing about Electrical Training, which I did with WMD, But WMD did alot of other training , which you should call them and enquiries. The WMD is unique, WMD is a Training centre, and in kind of a Family too, because they welcome everyone as a family and give students the best knowledge, best class, best practical, which lead to the student success in getting the qualifications needed. Thanks once again. From Collins.

Was Looking for electric training courses and visited few centres in Birmingham o a day in September and as I remembered the last center where I visit was WMD training center. The other centers I mostly dealt with people in the reception and got a brief info about their courses. Here on the my visiting day I had a conversation with David Dwyer who run and do teaching at the centre. Have nice experience of training over there for four weeks. Probably will visit for more courses as they have different range of courses regarding electric, gas and renewable energy. Facilities are satisfactory and team are skilled as they know what they are doing. Got learn a lot from David and Jim, Thanks a lot Kan

Fantastic company, I first met Dave around 18 years ago completing my 17th edition with him when it was the old bungalow ! (Mrs Dwyer did the best dinners ever) ! I have never looked to use another trying provider from that day on, Dave and his team are a delight to deal with and always there if oh need something. Courses are well detailed and presented in a way that you don’t forget things or feel hat you have been bombarded with information. Always a pleasure and will be back soon !

We drove across Birmingham to visit and were not disappointed. The staff were funny and friendly, the vibe is stylish but relaxing. Our food was delicious and we are already planning to combine our next visit with a treatment at the on site salon!

I had the pleasure of dining at Rising Café yesterday, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff providing excellent customer service. My wife ordered the club chicken sandwich, while I had sourdough bread topped with avocado and a fried egg. Both dishes were absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the ambiance of the café. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more of their menu. Highly recommend!

Food is good and well served. It's a training restaurant as we all know. Hiccups of this and that can be expected. I wish all the best for the students and the training staff there. Highly recommended. You won't fault.

As a relatively well established Google reviewer, I can quite confidently say that I have frequented some amazing restaurants and food outlets. However, this is the best dining experience for me to date. Not having heard of this venue before I drew my own conclusions prior to attending and thought "University, experimental perhaps, worth a try...". I was blown away by the whole evening. We arrived to be greeted like I have never been greeted before when going out to eat; there were multiple young waiting staff ready to take my coat, see me to the bar and attend to my pre-dining alcohol needs. (Lots of bar staff - and AMAZING prices!). We took our seats when all were in attendance and we were seated at suitably sized tables. Generous in size and a well thought out floor plan / layout. Great décor, perfect ambient temperature and genuinely helpful staff. I chose a starter of Cajun Salmon (mango salsa, cucumber, tempura squid), followed by a Guinea Fowl main, with bacon jam, gem lettuce and peas. We were provided with a complimentary goats cheese cracker with floral decoration (tasted amazing). The starter and mains were mind blowing. No other description for it. The meal was a taste sensation and one of the best I have ever had. Everything was cooked and presented to perfection. I opted for a whipped chocolate ganache dessert and this too was culinary heaven. We were even provided with complimentary birthday chocolate / lemon drizzle cakes to end the evening. Just absolute perfection! I will stop raving about this venue now, however I cannot recommend it enough!!!

Ate at Orelle last week and can honestly say the food and service at College of Food this evening was far superior. Each course was delicious and the waiting staff (Reau and Donald) were so attentive and professional. This was my second time here and both have been 10/10

The restaurant is a little tricky to locate as there is no sign. Inside it is very spacious and a nice quiet sitting. On their website it states this is a world-class training restaurant and guests will get to experience award-winning, exceptional value food. The food was very impressive. The food is cooked by students but honestly if someone told me it was cooked by an experienced top end chef I would not be able to tell the difference. Service of a high standard is also provide by students. You can see certain people in the restaurant who are marking or monitoring these individuals and at times you are asked for feedback which is not intrusive at all. The price paid for such exquisite food is amazing, 3 courses for £30. Highly recommend.

John was great, very helpful over the phone, travelled to our house very promptly, methodically checked our fuse box and identified the problem, dodgy kettle. Really polite and pleasant, would definitely use again. Payment arrangements simple and easy.

This evening our electric heater packed up and fused the whole house leaving us with no power and the trip wouldn't move. An electrician arrived within the hour and changed a part in our fusebox and checked the plug it was in for me. Really professional service we I couldn't be happier.

Had an emergency on Saturday night when water flooded from the bathroom and knocked out the power. This company came out late at night, quickly found the problem, and got everything back up and running safely. Professional, reliable, and knew exactly what they were doing. If you ever need an electrician in an emergency, they’re the one to call!

Excellent service at a competitive rate. The engineer did everything we asked and more taking care to carry out his work to a high standard in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the work that has been undertaken. The engineer set out to us from the outset the best options for us, explained how long the work would take to complete and the cost. The engineer was professional, very respectful of our home and incredibly patient (despite our many indecisive moments). I would highly recommend City Electrical Services.

It is rare to find such an excellent electrician who really takes pride in his work and is reasonably priced. Shakeel put up my beloved wall chandelier which two other electricians told me it was impossible to do. Highly recommend this friendly man.

Shakeel was very thorough, courteous and reasonably priced. He connected our garden office to the mains and it was not straightforward. An excellent service.

Super Impressed. Highly recommend. We had a slightly tricky job in our tight kitchen at really short notice. Shakeel squeezed us in last thing late on a Friday and did a quick and professional job for a reasonable price. Will definitely use again in the future.

I recently visited Cafe Elio, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The cakes, especially the cheesecake, are absolutely delicious. The creamy texture and perfect sweetness make it a must-try. Their coffee is also top-notch, with a rich flavor that pairs perfectly with the desserts. The prices are very reasonable, which makes it even more appealing. The ambience of the cafe is charming and cozy, with soft pink tones that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's a lovely space to relax and enjoy your treats. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Cafe Elio—it's definitely worth the trip!

Despite being quite busy, the staff were really friendly and accommodating. There was a great selection of cakes, a variety of drinks and the menu was very fresh. I had the Mediterranean salad (I think that’s what it was called) and it was sooo good. Can’t wait to return.

A Haven of Elegance and Excellent Coffee: My First Delight at Elio Cafe My first venture into Elio Cafe, nestled in the heart of the Mailbox, proved to be a truly delightful experience. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the sophisticated atmosphere. The interior design is undeniably beautiful, with a clear emphasis on creating a refined space. The high ceilings are a masterstroke, instantly lending an air of grandeur and elegance that elevates the cafe beyond your typical coffee stop. While the artwork adorning the walls and ceilings might be described as simple, its execution and placement are anything but. It's clear a thoughtful hand has curated the decor, achieving a sense of visual harmony that is both calming and aesthetically pleasing. The lighting further enhances this carefully crafted ambiance, creating a warm and inviting glow throughout the cafe. The attention to detail extends to the furniture. The variety of seating options is a testament to the owner's understanding of different customer needs and preferences. Crucially, all the furniture I observed appeared to be of high quality, adding to the overall impression of a well-considered and upscale establishment. It's evident that the owner has invested significant effort in creating a unique and appealing environment, setting Elio Cafe apart from the competition. Although I didn't sample the array of snacks and desserts on offer during this visit, a quick glance at the neighbouring tables was enough to impress. The cakes and pastries looked tempting and clearly well-received, suggesting a high standard of quality in their culinary offerings. My focus on this occasion was the coffee, and I opted for an Americano with milk. I was not disappointed. The coffee was genuinely excellent, possessing a distinct and memorable flavour profile. It had a unique character that hinted at a blend I hadn't encountered before, leaving a lasting positive impression. Beyond the impressive aesthetics and quality coffee, the staff at Elio Cafe truly contribute to the positive experience. Their friendly and courteous demeanour made my visit even more enjoyable. Their attentiveness and welcoming attitude added a layer of warmth to the already pleasant atmosphere. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Elio Cafe to anyone venturing into the Mailbox or even the wider Birmingham City Centre area. It's more than just a place to grab a coffee; it's an experience. The combination of elegant design, a thoughtfully curated ambiance, excellent coffee, and friendly service makes it well worth a visit. Elio Cafe has certainly earned a spot on my list of go-to cafes in Birmingham.

Elio is a cozy coffee shop across from the BBC in the Mailbox, I always pass on my way to the canalside. A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I finally stopped in for a tea and a flat white, and the barista was super friendly and made us feel right at home. I had the lemon and ginger tea, and I loved how the bits of fruit and roots floated around in the infuser - it was such a hearty drink! Next time we’re back, I’m definitely going to try the carrot cake, a granola bowl or the avo from the menu

What a hidden Gem! I must have drove past this place a 1000 times, recommended by a friend and was not disappointed, as authentic an Italian restaurant I've been to in the UK. A lovely welcome by owner upon arrival, super casual and laid back atmosphere. Great friendly service, food was absolutely fantastic. Hands down the best Tiramisu I've ever had. Will definitely be returning.
