Love this place. I went here for the first time on Saturday morning. It was clean, welcoming and a lovely feel. The service was great and attentive. Loving the tea pots and cups. I had the veggie breakfast, it could have been a little hotter, but overall really nice. The price was reasonable too. I would go back again.

In addition many thanks to all the staff front of house and in the kitchen who are all doing a stand up job! Well done and thanks again!

CAN Electrical Services Ltd came on recommendation and did not disappoint. A great team of lads who arrived on time daily, they were tidy on site and respectful to my property. Their work was finished to very high standards and appropriate certificates were issued. Very worthy of my five star rating.
Rating: 5 / 5
I would highly recommend John Coleman and CAN Electrical Services. Both John and his apprentice have done a couple of jobs at our business premises and both times they have done exactly what was asked of them. The jobs were discussed and planned in great detail and the costs was also explained without any nasty shocks. Electricians may get stick for being untidy but I was very pleasantly surprised as not an ounce of mess was left either of our jobs. Very well done guys!
Rating: 5 / 5
CAN electrical services did a full rewire of my property. I have been very impressed with their standard of work. John, Adam and Mason are all polite, reliable and trustworthy. Nothing has been too much trouble for them, and they have kept me in the loop throughout the whole process.I am thrilled with their work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
Rating: 5 / 5
If you want a good electrician that does an excellent job at competitive rates then look no further. John and Mason do a fantastic job, very tidy and pays attention to the detail. We had 3 pendant lights fitted, some spot lights removed and new spot lights fitted. All the work was carried out and everything completed on time. I would not hesitate in recommending this company.

I went here for a coffee after getting my hair done at MJ’s Hair Salon as part of my little pampering treat to myself and all I can say is… Wow. I am only really going off the incredible Persian Chai Latte & wedge of baklava, with occasional other drinks and cakes. It is the only place I know that has incredible baklava AND doesn’t give teeny tiny bites for big prices. Instead, your massive cake-sliced wedge will cost about £4.50. It’s all beautifully presented with little dried mini rose buds. Only issue is omg they can keep you waiting for ages if it’s busy - one new person forgot about me 😹 It’s also very popular as it is so nice so at times it’s a bit full. However, that is always a good sign. Lastly, the other good sign is that the cafe is often full of Persian clientele. They are happy to eat the British/Persian fusion food and I’m sure that if the food wasn’t up to scratch, they wouldn’t go - there are other popular venues at the other end of Hagley Road offering Persian food or cafe fusion options. Loving it. Added a couple of photos of the Persian Chai Latte and the Baklava wedge.

Such a beautifully, decorated café with the friendliest and very attentive staff. My family and I were spoilt for choice with the menu and then with the flavours when our orders arrived! We would highly recommend the Green Reviver, Veggie Breakfast and Persian tea - deliciously delightful👌🏾

Amazing experience here again. First happened upon this Café by a chance Google search when looking for food nearby pending an event. Full English was excellent, service was exemplary and the coffee was incredible. Tried again today and had the Persian breakfast. The food was incredible again, even better than last time! Service again exemplary. Will definitely be revisiting on numerous occasions.

We eat here weekly after my art class Clint and the team are lovely accommodating and the food is high quality and tasty and beautifully presented. The menu selection is great and always a good range of lovely specials and they will always go the extra mile to provide what you require. Today’s food was delicious and filling and reasonably priced and a good food option in Northfield as a healthier alternative to the fast food options. Great flavours and combinations too! Highly recommend trying it out.

Thankyou so much for your amazing service. Highly recommend If you need any electrical work done. Sasan did our lighting for our house when we were getting our renovations done and I can’t fault anything. He is fast and reliable. The main thing for me is he listened to what we wanted and done it all. So professional and very good. 👍 Keep up the good work.

Looking for adventure? Head to The Mann Cave. There are places you have to experience in your life time. This is one of them. The Mann Cave is eye candy. You do not need to be a motorcycle enthusiast to appreciate it. It subscribes to the idea of a large number of small touches makes a big difference. It is wall to wall motorcycle memorabilia, especially in the cafe upstairs. The cafe consists of 3 interlinking rooms. Each room is comfortable, unique and emblazoned with motorcycle art works. The service is accurate and humble. The Mann Cave’s food and drink is by no means artisanal. It is made from quality produce. Value for money. I must tip my flat cap to them for choosing a locally roasted New Era coffee. An excellent choice of coffee supplier.

Were here, worth the drive over, oh yeah. Eggs with Salmon, one with Advcado. Fresh and just on the soft side. Coffee nice and hot.. The girls from Yoga came in. Full of locals. Birmingham have greens that are not to be built on. It was the bike decor that attracted me, nice place.

My wife and I have been going to Chas Mann's cafe upstairs for breakfast at least once a week since returning to Birmingham four months ago. Splendid view over the old village green, interesting film, bikers and musical decor, relaxed seating & atmosphere, and eclectic music soundtrack from '60s onwards. Friendly and welcoming staff, headed by Ian. Great, great omelettes (four eggs!) which always set us up for the day. Thoroughly recommended.

Update - As of July 2024, absolutely NO GOOD FOR VEGANS. There is no longer a vegan option even though every menu in the place offered one. We were told they could “try and cobble something together” which would have amounted to a bread, some rocket and pretty much nothing else. So we left and went to the Red Lion pub instead. What a gem! Nothing beats the ambiance of this little cafe, the welcoming & friendly staff and the very well made and presented food. The cake case is a fully enclosed chiller - perfect. The attention to what on the menu was / wasn’t suitable for us as vegans was exemplary, with possible vegan alternatives made clear. We will most definitely be going back!

Amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredible - all the staff were very attention and knowledgeable, Sim in particular was incredibly lovely! We did the 5 for £55 menu which was 100% worth it, each course was absolutely delicious. A few of my friends are vegan and so had the vegan menu and also really enjoyed those courses - although they did comment that they thought some of the courses could have done with a sauce of some kind. But overall an excellent experience, we will definitely be back!

Very nice restaurant serving upscale British cuisine. We went there during the week so it was rather quiet, which we actually prefer. The restaurant has a nice bar in the front of the house, where you can enjoy a range of interesting and imaginative cocktails, but they serve classics too. The restaurant part is at the back and you pass an open plan kitchen with bar seats as well, where you can see all the master preparation, it's really interesting! There are normal tables as well obviously, further back. We had a tasting menu with wine pairing. I really enjoyed the finger food that comes before the main menu, but all dishes were great. Some interesting matches, but also some surprisingly simple dishes like a pasta with butter, truffle and cheese, were absolutely delicious, and nicely paired with the wine. You can taste the quality of ingredients, and masterful preparation just completes the dish. The service is impeccable, friendly and knowledgeable. The sommelier was particularly good, clearly knowing his trade, but also very approachable and nice to talk to. The whole menu comes to about 8 or 9 dishes, so it's a lot, and we struggled a bit to finish it all! The experience was very good and I can definitely recommend it.

We came here for an anniversary meal and had the five courses for £55 menu. It was all absolutely delicious. The ‘chips’ served with the roe were so good no other chip will ever be the same again. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed with a great eclectic playlist. The staff was delightful and we loved watching the chefs hard at work in the open plan kitchen. We spent £170 including two drinks each, cheese board and tip. Very reasonable for a fine dining experience that in my opinion was as good as some of the Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been to. Well worth it for a special occasion. Thanks HK team!

My partner and I attended on a Saturday evening to celebrate her upcoming birthday. My partner is Gluten Free, and Harborne Kitchen went out of their way to accommodate that dietary requirement. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we stepped in. We were greeted by all the staff and even the chefs all said allow as we walked by the pass to our seat. We both went for the tasting menu. And I had the wine pairing. The food was exceptional. Beautifully presented, and each plate was introduced to us by one of the chefs. There are one or two reviews on here complaining about portion size. I think the problem here is common with a taster menu. Especially the Malloreddus. That dish was so good. I wanted to get a big big bowl of it, change into my fat pants, sit on my sofa, and scoff the lot. We were both waddling out of the restaurant after, so there are no complaints from us about portion size. My only criticism is the tomato course, which is literally a slice of tomato with a couple of onions chucked on. Served with a little bit of stock. I can't understand why it is on a taster menu at a fine dining restaurant. The decor was nice. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Good vibes all round. And we appreciated the birthday wishes with a chocolate treat. Thank you, Harborne Kitchen. We will definitely be back soon 😋
