We enjoyed a lovely breakfast for two that was mostly fantastic! The food was delicious, and the konafe was absolutely fabulous a definite highlight of the meal. The cappuccino was perfectly made! The only downside was that the poached egg was served cold, which was a bit disappointing. However, the overall experience and quality of the meal more than made up for it. Great atmosphere and attentive service definitely a place we’d visit again!
While shopping in Birmingham city center, I was always drawn to this dessert shop—the beautifully displayed cakes in the window looked so tempting every time I passed by. However, it was always too crowded, so I never got the chance to sit down for afternoon tea. Today, my girlfriend and I planned a shopping day together and wanted to find a nice place to chat over afternoon tea. This shop on New Street immediately came to mind. The decor is very feminine, with an all-pink theme that feels super charming. Upon entering, the staff guided us to choose a seat. Each table has a self-ordering machine where you can place and pay for your order directly. I tried the Strawberry Diplomat Cake, which was not overly sweet, had great layers, and tasted amazing. For my drink, I went with the Valentine’s special Strawberry & Creamy Hot Chocolate—but honestly, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, so I wouldn’t really recommend it.
It is wonderful here. The staff are very helpful, and there are plenty of them walking around offering their service. The food was absolutely delicious. My friends and I all had something different off the menu, and all dishes were stunning. The decor is so unbelievably cute and pink, even down to the crockery. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning.
Went for drinks and desserts. I really liked the pistachio latte. The chocolate fondant with caramel drizzled on top was lush - had to share as it was super rich tasting. There was a flood in the bathroom so 1 star off for that, but the restaurant itself had cute decor.
