It's a shame this tearoom isn't more busier. It's a little out of the way from the other cafes in Portchester. Very good food, reasonable priced and good service. You just have to look for it.

Went here for dinner on a Friday Night. Just because and it was delicious. My pork fillet perfectly moist, the venison perfectly rare. The restaurant is nicely spaced and offers a small menu of seasonal dishes to meet most dietary requirements. As ever a wonderful dinner we all loved. If you have not tried this restaurant please do it is lovely.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. I've eaten at Michelin star restaurants that don't come close to the quality I found this evening at Truffles. The balance of flavours was perfect, every bite making me yearn for the next. The portion sizes were just right, and we left not stuffed, not hungry but perfectly satisfied. Have already recommended to friends and family, and will most certainly be visiting again very soon!

Great food here. Dined with friends and no complaints from anyone. Not a large menu, but that's fine as what was on offer excellent. In my opinion its not expensive and very little more than pub prices where the quality is not comparable.

Got in touch with Lee for some help with home networking. Most other electricians seemed unkeen to get involved in this particular area of work. Lee however was up for helping out straight away 😃 Lee managed to sort my home networking issues with next to no hassle. Also helped and advised on some automated lighting problems that I sprung randomly on the day. Great and personable service 👍

Lee responded quickly to my call to replace my electric shower, booked in a time and arrived promptly. He was polite and kept me informed in what he was doing and why. He has done several jobs for us (outside lights, outside plug sockets, ceiling LED's in a number of rooms, replacing a consumer unit, changing a lamp fitting) and has consistently impressed us with his exceptional professionalism and expertise. Premlex came to our office yesterday to replace old strip light fittings with new LED panels, there has been a vast improvement on the lighting within our office. When coming to quote for the job, Trebor was knowledgeable about the regulations regarding lighting within our office. When the electrician was on site carrying out the work he did so with no fuss and very little interruption to our work. When he was finished he left everything clean and tidy. We have used Premlex several times now and would highly recommend them.

I popped into Abbey Electrics this week for a motherboard issue which needed some intricate work on it, as it was broken and not working. I left the component with them, and within a day I was called back and explained the work was complete. Part is now fully working and the service from Joe was excellent. Great price, extremely professional and would highly recommend.

These guys are a mine of information, always willing to help and track parts down and offer advice. You might be able to get the parts cheaper online but using a local shop where you see the part and check it’s compatibly is far better for all concerned. I thought my washing machine part would be at least £50, if it was available at all, Abbey Electrics got me sorted for less than £20, I’m very happy.

Emailed about getting my 20+ year Sebo X4 vacuum cleaner repaired. Got a quick reply and dropped it off with a 4+ days estimate to look at it, then I could expect a call to say what it needed and the cost. Excellent service. I went into Abbey Electrics a few weeks ago with a rather old but perfectly working handheld Dyson hoover. A clip had broken. The team were really helpful but unable to order me a replacement due to the age of the hoover. They suggested I tried online which I did. Having watched a video online of how to fit the new clip myself, I couldn't manage it. I popped back in to Abbey Electrics today and they were so helpful in fitting the new clip for me. Great service and just the reason people return to the shop time and time again.
