Massive thank you to Vic and all the wonderful team at The Lord Raglan Emsworth for an amazing Sunday Roast Carvery yesterday. Not just great food, but a wonderful ambience and fantastic service. Eveyone is so friendly and helpful, a true gem of a pub! Thank you guys.

Came in for a Mothers Day roast and boy were we impressed! Arrived early so made the most of the seating area around a log fire, made welcome by all staff and a friendly atmosphere. Between us we each opted for Gammon, Beef and chicken. Pleasantly surprised to have been asked how we like our beef cooked - rare was requested and the most tender, delicious beef was delivered. Thickly sliced Gammon melted in the mouth and chicken was tender Breast meat. Portions were huge, perfectly cooked veg, all trimmings with no extra cost served with a smile. An altogether perfect afternoon - with so much choice in Emsworth for Sunday dinner we are glad we opted for the Raglan and will definitely be back!

Another visit today for the carvery sunday lunch. Great option as a veggie to not have to have a veggie option...although there was one. Perfect veggies, potatoes and gravy! Both really enjoyed the food and the staff were all lovely. Thank you.

Popped in for lunch and a pint. Real Ale served here along with usual larger. Lunchtime food menu is mostly sandwiches or pizza. We ordered a BLT and side of chips and a pepperoni pizza. Both were extremely good and very tasty. The log burner fire added to a cosy friendly atmosphere. I would definitely go back. I noted that this place also has live music most weeks.

Fantastic food, and lovely staff. Went here on a Sunday night because they were one of the few places around who had their kitchen still open in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised to find gluten free fish and chips! The fish was a nice big piece, and the batter was crispy all the way through. Paired it with a nice mojito, and had a fabulous meal. Staff were great, and very conscious of allergies/food restrictions. I was also impressed to see that they had a pretty impressive menu for dogs too!

Hadn’t been in a while and fancied an impromptu lunch out. A great new tapas and classics menu (as well as breakfast) menu available. We opted for pie of the day with mash and veg and a chicken souvlaki served on salad. Service and food were both great.

This place has alot of character to offer with alot more room inside than oroginally thought. Service was outstanding with the two ladies today.. if your ordering the roasts, expect a large amount of meat and little veg.

Went for Christmas day lunch and my god the food was absolutely delicious. It really was done of the best and freshest food we've ever had the pleasure of eating. We decided to do something different and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, not rushed between courses and the atmosphere was perfect. This has made us decide to definitely do this again next year.10/10

A recent visit to The Kings Arms in Emsworth was truly a delight. The moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make sure every guest felt appreciated. Sipping on a perfectly poured pint while soaking in the cozy ambiance was the highlight of my visit. The pub boasts an impressive selection of local ales, and each pint is served with precision and care. Whether you're a beer aficionado or just looking for a relaxing place to unwind, The Kings Arms is a top-notch choice. The charming décor and comfortable seating invite you to stay a little longer, enjoying the company of friends or simply savouring the moment. Burns Night menu which was available for several nights in January was amazing value. Lovely home cooked food, decent size portions and lovely welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommended!

We were recommended to eat here by friends who spoke very highly of the food and we were not disappointed. We arrived half an hour early but were attended to straight away by very friendly and attentive staff. I was very impressed that we were able to order the small Sunday roast lunch, I had lamb and my husband had turkey. All aspects were very well cooked, the potatoes were crispy, the vegetables done to perfection including the cauliflower cheese. We shared dessert of pineapple rum cake with mango sorbet and orange set cream. It was all delicious and our experience was enhanced by Molly our server who took the trouble to ask our names as we chatted to her and remembered them when we left. All in all a perfect lunch on Easter Sunday.

Fantastic little pub. Great atmosphere, excellent staff and the food was exceptional. We happened to stop off for a bite to eat and we got the last table on Friday night. A very cosy and friendly setting with a great selection of food and drinks. I would highly recommend a visit if your in the area.

Lovely golf course in a nice location, well kept fairways and okay greens. Well priced round of 18. Please note there is not much shade or sun relief so this course can get very hot with the lack of a breeze. Unfortunately there are a lack buggies at this course as they seem to be booked out in advance

I'm a member so obviously a bit biased, but I haven't found a course that balances value and quality so well. There are some minor issues, but for the price point I don't think you'll find better.

It is a great location just outside Portsmouth on the hill. Because of this, expect some challenging lies above and below your feet, elevation, and outstanding views. Especially on hole two. Generally kept to a good condition throughout. Club house very friendly and has all you need for a pint and food after your round.

One of the best places in town for a Sunday dinner. I will definitely be back for another. Shannon and Ruby do a lovely job in the kitchen and the servers are on point. The fact I can have a roast and watch football at the same time is fantastic. Keep up the good work and see you next week.

Monday nights are BUSY in the Ship Inn. Quiz night, football on and people everywhere. Great atmosphere and a real buzz about the place. Staff were friendly and attentive, food comes in big portions and tasted great. Would recommend a visit, but if you’re not one for crowds, check ahead to see if they’ve got an event on as it may be busy. Thanks for finding us a table to eat at fairly short notice too!

Early Friday supper. Warm and bustling with a lot of reserved tables and a bit of a wait to be served, but once we got the menus service was pleasant and food arrived reasonably swiftly. The beef bourguinon was delicious, warming on a cold night.

Myself and my mother visited this public house this afternoon. The service was great with great food. I went to pay and told the food was free! You made me and my mum in disbelief. Your kindness and thoughtfulness is beyond any words I know. You made my mum emotional. The Crown has a welcoming environment and seriously tasty food. Thankyou.

A group of us (21) descended upon Rowlands Castle gc on the last day of our tour. We were all pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received from all staff and members alike. The course is an absolute gem, well maintained, and cherished by the members. How lucky they are to play this course on a regular basis. I/we will go back for more.

A Hidden Gem in Emsworth! I recently visited The Travellers Joy in Emsworth and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a charming, rustic décor that made me feel right at home. The beer selection was impressive, featuring a variety of local brews that were both refreshing and flavourful. I particularly enjoyed the friendly and attentive service from the staff, who made sure my visit was perfect from start to finish. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Travellers Joy is a must-visit for a relaxing and enjoyable pint. Highly recommended!

Lovely skin on chips with cheese and drinks, friendly accommodating staff and despite the place being busy they still managed to let us have a table for a short quick meal and drink. Warm and inviting and would definitely come here again for a bigger meal with the family. Dog was also fully welcome ❤️

I had two meals at this pub. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. Our dogs were also made welcome and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We found the seat by the window a little chilly but were able to move to a warmer table.

Had an excellent lunch here today. Place is under recently new management. The rope grown mussels came in a delicious chilli, Lime and coconut sauce The fish pie was delightful. The liver and bacon lovely. Just a small note. The starters and mains got a bit confused. All my fault, but rather than take one main back to the kitchen while we ate our started, they gave the liver and bacon away to a local and prepared another for us. Excellent service and care and attention to quality. Highly recommended.

I’m so glad I stopped here for lunch. The environment is lovely and inviting, the food is fantastic and service is brilliant. It’s a dog friendly bar/restaurant and the quality of the food is absolutely worth the price. They serve food all day too whereas the competition stop around 14.30….. if you’re hungry and are in Emsworth, just go here, you won’t regret it.

Wow. From the outside, this looks like a coffee shop. Venture in and you're in a magical world. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked perfectly. Upstairs is an elegant restaurant that you'll be proud to take family and friends to. Out the back is a cracking sun terrace. Downstairs is where the magic can happen. The whole bar is just one class. High and low seats. Even old cinema seats. You will not be disappointed.

“Nice course with 3-4 pars, I enjoy playing it”
Rating: 4 / 5
A nice short course, mostly par 3's with some par 4's. Fairly easy walk with some reasonably challenging holes, especially the longer par 3's. A couple of holes where water is play but not too onerus. Conditions improving greatly now and ground reasonably firm.
