What an amazing place to have a late lunch!! The service was impeccable. We loved our server Cameron Lily! She was very personable and helped us with our individual needs. Also the avocado egg and the truffle eggs were phenomenal. We also loved the chill vibe and decor. Highly highly recommend!!

This was a lovely spot for breakfast. Essentially in a cute house with seating feeling like you’re dining with friends. The food was tasty as well and the service was amazing. Our server was friendly, conversational and attentive. Would definitely go back here for breakfast, but be aware the queue can get long on a weekend morning.

Fresh and healthy food. Each dish is big enough for sharing. Had the Mexican Omelette and it’s delicious. Also, try the home made Hummus with chilli oil it’s amazing.

Got in without waiting at around 9:30am on a weekday, when we left there was a queue so I would suggest getting there early! Service was kind and prompt! Atmosphere was quaint but cozy. The food was unique and solid! Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for brunch with a Mediterranean flair. Would come back!

I would recommend this cafe to anyone in the London area. I've hopped around, and this is certainly a favorite. Food/drinks: I had the vanilla chai latte; made with almond milk, it's a lighter drink than regular chai fanatics may be used to, but it's not bad. I was pleased to see that the prices for the drinks overall are slightly below what I see in London cafes! The homemade granola, served with yogurt and fruit, had a unique spin with more of a maple, nutty flavor which worked well with the honey. They were generous with the fruit and the presentation was beautiful. The avocado toast was also fantastic. The avocado was perfectly ripe in (nothing worse than paying for avo toast out and getting a bad one) and the egg was poached perfectly. I really liked the fresh sourdough. Staff: I loved the staff! I was there on a Wednesday. The lady did more of the work in the front and the man worked a lot in the back but helped in the front when needed. They were so kind and incredibly attentive to their costumers. I needed to charge my laptop to do work and they helped me find a good working outlet (one doesn't seem to work). I was given a menu and my food was served to my table with my own water pitcher. Once finished, my plates were cleared right away. They also take care to sanitize every table between costumers which I don't see as common in cafes. It was all the greatness of a cafe with the service of a restaurant. Atmosphere: Wonderful selection of fun, upbeat music that many would recognize. The cafe is rather small: I could see that being an issue on the busy weekends. Cute decor, with drawings of London hung on the wall and plants. The biggest con of this place is that I couldn't find the wifi. My computer refused to connect to the portobello road free wifi since it was a weak signal, so I had to use my hotspot. Fantastic food, presentation, and service. Comfortable seating. Great prices. I'm eager to return.

Cute cozy spot for brunch! We’ve been there twice in a week and the food and service were great both times. 👌🏼 Highly recommend the L&B breakfast special and full English breakfast. The pancakes are super good too but I would recommend splitting it with a friend because it’s really filling for just 1 person. 🥞 All in all a solid spot for brunch!

The food was delicious and the coffee as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The inside of the restaurant is cute and gives a very cozy vibe. The kitchen and coffee machine area and the tables looked very clean and hygienic. The rest of the restaurant could do with a bit of cleaning. For instance, the picture frames looked a bit greasy and might not been cleaned in a while. This is a small improvement point for us. Other than that, great!

Popped in for brunch on a rainy Saturday morning. We got there around 10:15 and waited 10 minutes for a table for 2. We had the red velvet pancakes and corn fritter stack, both of which are must haves! The drinks were warm and rich, perfect to fight off the dreary weather. The decor is so cute and the restaurant is very clean. The staff were so sweet! *UPDATE 11/2024* They have now expanded into another space in Portobello Road next to the original. The menus differ between the places so read carefully. We dined at 41 and, again, everything was excellent. The Corn Fritter Stack remains sensational but the English breakfast was delightful. Their Chai Latte is one of my favorites in London. I adore this place and look forward to returning soon.

Went for our anniversary and loved it! Staff were very friendly and also offered us two glasses of bubbles to celebrate. The price is a little steep but still fairly reasonable for what you get. Everything was good, especially the seabass carpaccio, and the lamb was so flavourful. Also such a cute restaurant!! Cant wait to come back for a girls night out.

We went for their vegetarian set menu, and the food was amazing. Portions were generous. In fact, food was much more than our consumption. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are on the higher side but no compromise on the quality of food. Highly recommended.

Zephyr has to be one of my the BEST restaurants in London FACT. My boyfriend and I were absolutely blown away. The vibe was perfect, and the service was nothing short of impeccable. A huge thank you to Olivia, who truly made our lunch special. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your waitress, trust her recommendations - you won’t regret it! As for the food, it was out of this world. The cod dip, prawns, steak, and tuna are absolute must-haves. This place has officially set the bar for dining in London. We’ll be back again and again

Ordered: Pita Bread- really good char notes Tarama - the lime brought it to the next level Seabass Carpaccio - delicate, well balanced Beef tomatoes - one of the best tomato salads we’ve had Crispy Potato Terrine - light crispy shell Wild Prawns - excellent char and flavours. Prawns just cooked. Popcorn Chicken - spicier than expected, tender chicken pieces. Was looking to try their baklava but had no space left. Great service, food served promptly. Good food done well!!

Really nice restaurant in Notting Hill. The bread platter & dips were a highlight (loved the aubergine and tarama wow). Calamari & sea bass carpaccio was also very good! The potato and truffle was good but nothing special and did not like the Greek Meat Sausage dish (on the dry side). Lovely atmosphere with a bar downstairs & cocktails were great. This place is definitely on the pricey side so not sure if it was worth it value-money wise but was a nice meal.

We visited for dinner on a Saturday. It’s a medium sized venue with a dark and woody theme and a fully exposed kitchen. Me and my wife were seated at a table with plenty of space, which is a rarity in London! We ordered the bread, warm octopus salad and calamari to start, followed by the sirloin steak and truffle pasta for mains, served with a side of spinach. Note that a large number of items (including a variety of steaks and seafood) are off menu and only listed on the specials board. We finished with the hazelnut mousse and cheesecake. The food ranged from decent to excellent depending on the dish. The calamari, spinach and desserts were less exciting, I’d say not bad but not great. In contrast the truffle pasta was excellent but best of all was the steak. This was a quality piece of meat cooked to perfection! Our primary server was very friendly and quite an entertaining character as well. The food was delivered at a speedy pace which is our preference. The bill for the 2 of us came to £303 of which £80 was spent on drinks. No doubt pricey, but after having visited sister restaurants Wild Tavern and Belvedere, I knew what to expect. I would actually draw a similar conclusion for all 3 restaurants - the food is generally very good, in particular the steaks at all 3 really stood out, while service was excellent. The prices are a bit excessive, but clearly this hasn’t deterred me from returning, and I look forward to more visits in future! Belvedere would be my top pick of the three so far.

How to write a review without sounding condescending… hmmm… GENUINELY so good!! I have traveled a lot, and have been in various places around the globe but the meal I had here was impressively good. I have always had avoided artichokes as I was never used to them but thanks to them, I have made peace with that vegetable, it has been fried, but didn’t taste greasy, and it was on a parmesan sauce which was like a cloud coming from heaven. i also ate a simple tomato salad with had a very light seasoning… the service, the restaurant, the vibe.. even the music was good. love it!

Excellent produce and authentic Southern Italian food - the Sicilian red prawn tartare, shrimp linguine and the fillet are exceptionally good amongst many others. Wild is next to our home and is such a cosy, warm addition to our neighbourhood. Service is very friendly and welcoming also. Superb.

Wild in Notting Hill offers a charming and cozy atmosphere with mood lighting and tasteful decor, making it the perfect spot for a date night, especially if you’re staying in the neighborhood. We were lucky to get a table for two upon arrival, thanks to the friendly hostess who promptly seated us. Our waiter was fantastic—charming, informative, and thoughtful throughout the evening. His attentive service really elevated our dining experience. For our meal, we had the beef filet, which was cooked perfectly but lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The carpaccio was much the same—good, but it could have used a bit more seasoning to really make it stand out. On the other hand, the pasta and salad were excellent—well-seasoned and thoroughly enjoyable. The cheesecake for dessert was different than expected, with a creamier, custard-like texture rather than the usual consistency, but it was still delicious, especially with the blackberry jam on top. This is definitely a premium-priced restaurant. For two people, with four dishes, dessert, and two drinks each, the bill came to nearly £300, which felt a bit excessive. However, despite the high price, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others staying in Notting Hill and looking for such a vibe.

My partner and I dined here in April. As big foodies, it had been on our to-do list for years. Reservations are hard to come by! We were not disappointed. The food here is incredible. We had the 'Core Seasons' menu which was £245 per person. We also had the wine pairings, which added on another £155 per person. We enjoyed our night at Core thoroughly. The stand-out feature for us was the wine pairings. The wines were curated perfectly for the food, and they were simply delicious. The service here is great. They have so many servers here waiting to cater to your needs.

Absolutely spectacular in every way. The team are completely invested in this well oiled operation - they care, they are passionate and give there all. The food was absolutely outstanding. The wine pairing selection was perfect - down to the final cocktail - this was a welcome surprise. I am definitely booking round two - the tasting menu leaves you complete but not uncomfortable- this is an accolade in itself. Possibly the greatest meal I’ve ever had in my life. I cannot convey my emotions into words what a truly amazing experience this was and I would fly out to London again just to come back here. The food was phenomenal and the service was just as good. Kind and caring, they explained each dish as they came out and I probably didn’t understand half of what I was eating anyway but it didn’t matter. The quality of the food is akin to artwork. After my many courses, and having left my meal and am now sitting quietly, reflective of my meal, I am doing my best to remind myself: don’t be sad because it’s over, be glad that it happened

We’ve had many memorable meals over the years, but this one certainly takes the cake. Core’s three Michelin stars are extremely well-deserved - the creativity, presentation, and attention to detail are truly unrivaled. Each course was perfectly crafted, beautifully plated, and masterfully explained by its chef. Chef Clare Smyth was active in the kitchen on the evening we dined there, and it was evident how dedicated she was towards every dish being truly perfect. The wine pairings were a highlight as well, as was our amazing service by our server Bri. We can’t wait to return here again someday; do not miss your chance to dine here if a reservation comes available.

Charming Notting Hill brunch at The Grand! Their Tiramisu & Mascarpone special was a delightful bonus, but the real star was the vibrant atmosphere and friendly service. Reviewing after my fourth visit to the Grand on Portobello. Came here first for brunch and we were blown away by the creme brûlée French toast and avocado toast with vegan ricotta. Was so impressed I also celebrated my 21st birthday here with my family and ordered: sourdough, crispy chicken with aioli, burgers and sea bass. This was back in February and we are all still raving about it. But today was the single best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Chef Alessia pulled out all the stops with crispy chicken, roasted cauliflower, basque cheesecake and homemade vegan sorbet. With an open plan kitchen it is great to meet the chef and as she explained the dish to us it was clear how much she cared about the food, which is reflected in every dish. Giulia was attentive and recommended a delicious primitivo (£7) while other support staff were really friendly/smiling and looked like they were enjoying themselves too. We were very generously given some limoncello on the house and having not eaten out for a month due to exams - came out beaming and doing the happy food dance. Biggest thank you to the team on 20th May for a night of amazing food, hospitality and hugs that was a much needed treat. Overall: a delicious meal at any time of the day, perfect for a date, occasion or family meal with consistently great hospitality. If you are in Notting Hill this is THE place to go.

Went there for a birthday brunch, and definitely was so worth it. The staff were so kind and made us feel very welcome. Very attentive to detail too. The food was good although I expected the bread to be better and more toasted (it just felt cold and not really what we expected for the price). The potatoes were unbelievably good - probably the best part for me. My partner had the steak with eggs and was absolutely stunning! Will be coming back!

This restaurant is located at the corner of Westbourne Grove and Hereford Road in Notting Hill, about a 15mins walk from the underground station, making it easy to find. If you plan to visit on a weekend, I recommend making a reservation,otherwise, you might end up waiting outside for about 20 mins like we did. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant are quite nice. We ordered their signature Sunday pancake, a burger, and a matcha latte. While the matcha latte was very disappointing, the other dishes were quite good. However, the staffs were mostly lazy and forgetful, and their smiles were lacking. Overall, it was a mixed experience!

A really nice cafe off the main tourist road in Notting Hill with a lovely owner and a super nice waiter. We all had iced lattes with various extras as well as the carrot chocolate cake, rose pistachio cake and a scone with jam and cream. Prices were more than fair. Everything arrived super fast, we were more than happy and spent a lovely afternoon there!

We went to Butter Bakery for a brunch. The owner is really nice, we had a lovely talk with her. It’s a family business, which we like to support. The coffee and food is also really good. I recently checked out Butter Bakery Bar & Cafe in London, and I have to say, it’s such a cute spot! The place is beautifully decorated, and the whole vibe is just really nice. The breakfast food was absolutely amazing. Seriously, everything was so tasty. And the coffee and espresso? Delicious! It’s clear they put a lot of care into their menu. What really made my visit special was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by Butter Bakery Bar & Cafe. It’s the perfect place for breakfast or just grabbing a coffee in a lovely neighborhood.

lovely restaurant in a very nice area. i went there for my birthday. we felt welcomed from the beginning. super friendly staff with a lot knowledge. food was amazing. plating on point and super interesting flavors and techniques. i loves that they have their own farms with animals and are very close to their suppliers. i could taste the amazing quality. my wife has a bell pepper intolerance and she got a great substitute dish. the owner is super friendly and comes to the table to present some dishes. great guy. hopefully i will manage to come back one day.. i would totally recommend this restaurant and wish all the staff all the best.

One of my favorite 3 stars in the world! I think the price is so good for what you get. The food tastes amazing (there’s not a single dish that I don’t like, even the substitutions due to my dietary restrictions are well thought out, composed, dishes. And they are particularly good at seafood.) The service is on the next level. The first time I was here, they noticed that I wasn’t eating the sourdough crust, and for the next serving of bread they actually only gave me the middle parts!!!!!! This time around, my Mocktail came a little late and the sommelier felt so bad that he said it was on him! I have just been so impressed with the food and the attention to detail. I truly don’t understand how this could be only a 4.7!

Visited recently for a late lunch. I had already been a few years back when it held 2 Michelin Stars. I’m happy to say the 3rd star is very well deserved. The quality of ingredients and the skill in cooking make a meal here a relative bargain compared to some other offerings in London. Wine list is very wide ranging and still approachable. Service is knowledgeable without being overly stuffy or fussy. All things considered, it’s close to perfect.

the best service of all the Michelin restaurants we have ever been to. Very friendly and positive staff. Excellent wine list. The food is generally really tasty and creative. It a couple of portions, in my opinion, the perfect combination of flavors was sacrificed to showiness and populism (like the dish with black caviar, which completely negated the flavor range of the other, really interesting ingredients. Overall a really cool restaurant with a good atmosphere, service, thoughtful details of dishes and interior and decent food.

This place had been on my list for a while and it mostly lived up to expectations. We came for Friday night dinner and enjoyed the relaxed and inviting atmosphere which struck a perfect balance without feeling too formal. The food was largely excellent, though the dessert unfortunately wasn't to my taste which was a shame. My favourites from the tasting menu were the tuna, scallop, duck and the pre dessert. The service was polished, friendly and helpful.

Granger & Co is an absolute must-visit! The scrambled eggs are hands down the best I've ever had, and the ricotta hot cake was simply amazing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and a special shoutout to the Albanian waiter—he was incredibly welcoming❤️ Can't wait to return!

Granger & Co is a fantastic spot for a perfect breakfast. We began with a cappuccino, which was incredible—rich and perfectly balanced. For food, we ordered pancakes, poached eggs, and scrambled eggs. My wife had the scrambled eggs and declared them the best she’s ever had. The pancakes were amazing—light, fluffy, and full of flavor. Highly recommended for a delightful breakfast experience!
