Intrigued, I decided to sample a few of their offerings: the chicken katti roll (£6.50), a flatbread generously stuffed with tender chicken, their signature charista chai, and the Fuchka (£6.50), a house specialty of hollow puris filled with spiced mashed potato and chickpeas, topped with shredded egg and accompanied by tangy tamarind water. From the moment I stepped inside, the decor set the tone for a memorable experience. The space is thoughtfully adorned with chai-inspired posters and poems, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. A neighborhood gem for Shoreditch, on Bethnal Green Road. It has a few popular Bengali street food items, like fuchka and katirolls (which were very nice). They also have biryani (though this wasn't quite what I was looking for). Well decorated and clean. It wasn't too busy when we went on a Monday early evening, which was nice.

This cafe is an absolute gem! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with plenty of natural light, high ceiling and comfortable seating. I highly recommend prawns and pollo alla milanese. The coffee was outstanding as it had the perfect balance of flavour and aroma. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcome from the moment we stepped in. The pastries were fresh and delicious. Prices were reasonable for the quality and experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend for coffee lovers or anyone looking for a relaxed spot to unwind!

Absolutely beautiful cafe/restaurant and opens really early! I came on a Saturday and the waitress let me to study there throughout the morning, even though I know most cafe's have a no-laptop policy on the weekends. Coffee and croissants were great, and their sourdough with roasted aubergine and eggs were delicious! I would definitely recommend this has both a work space and a social hangout, and am definitely coming again :)

An excellent place for working or spending time in a calm atmosphere. With its stylish decor, fresh bakery products, and healthy menu, I can say it’s the best café in the area. The cocktails and other beverage options are very good. I definitely recommend it.

Best Italian! Ask for Salvatore as your server. From the appetizers to the desserts, you will not be disappointed. They take reservations and have a good wine list. Food is fresh and in line with local prices. The atmosphere is so nice as are all the staff.

The cozy vibey evening atmosphere, the decor, the staff, the food....*chef's kiss* My Italian soul was made whole again by Gloria's ❤️ Highly recommend the mafaldine truffle pasta. Rich, decadent, and DEFINITELY meant for 2 people 😅 (which the menu and waitress warned me about, but I was determined to try it anyway).

Great afternoon with group of friends. Lovely choice for Sunday afternoon, it wasn’t too busy at that time. Great service, very friendly and relaxed staff, delicious food as well as amazing deco and music. Highly recommend it!

I visited Dishoom with friends for a brunch for a friend's birthday. The food and service was excellent. All the staff were friendly, wished my friend Happy Birthday throughout our stay, and were extremely courteous. We all enjoyed the meal and the birthday treat we shared on Dishoom. I have had a problem with Indian food in the recent years. I was missing a reference point, great food wholeheartedly enjoyed. Worth remembering for the future to compare this to other places. Finally I found that place and it was Dishoom  Shoreditch. Amazing food, full of flavors and surprises, food where you think that you order too much of and then it turns out that it is so good that you have to finish it no matter what. Be prepared for a long wait for a table, but it is worth doing it. The wait time is sweetened - you wait at a bar serving very good  drinks. Once you are seated the food arrives quickly and is amazingly good. So for now I got my reference point for Indian food. Thanks Dashoom.

I felt so special here! Came for dinner and breakfast and I had an amazing time each visit. The staff is insanely personable & they’re always willing to help you better understand the menu. This place is worth all the hype it gets, I’ll definitely be back the next time I visit the UK.

Morrocan sourced pendants needed reworking. Abdul did it all. Came back at short notice to fix one pendant and eventually sourced to a faulty bulb. Reasonably priced and went the extra.

Aziz arrived on time and was very helpful and polite. He and his colleague fixed my bathroom light switch and installed 2x sockets just as I wanted and ensured everywhere was left tidy. Highly recommended and I will be using his services again.

Fantastic service - courteous and incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did they arrive within 1 hour to central London but demonstrated their vast experience and found the fault straight away. We’d highly recommend Electrofy. We hired them to do a full rewire of our 4-bed Victorian semi. After an initial visit, they set out a clear plan for the work and quoted a reasonable price. They were neat and put in extra effort to minimise damage to the original features of the house. The rewire took 3 weeks and they finished on time as promised. They had great comms - even setting up a WhatsApp group to share photos and videos of progress during the job and ask how we wanted to proceed when unexpected issues arose. They arranged for the house to be cleaned after they’d finished (although we still needed to do some additional cleaning afterwards). And they happily returned a week later to sort out some small remaining snags. Overall Electrofy were excellent and we’d definitely recommend them for this type of job.

My experience from my first contact was outstanding and I was kept up to date with regards to my appointment, even when my first appointment was cancelled I was kept informed and they apologie for the inconvenience and was given three different days to choose my next appointment. The instalation was carried out by James. James was very professional, correct and onbhis arrival he got on with the job, he even brought a hoover and clean all the internal areas where he worked 💪. We were seeking a new contractor for a building we manage in South London and came across AKK. After meeting Aaron on-site at one of our properties, we were instantly impressed with his approach – wishing to walk the building with us, note issues we had and issues he identified as an expert. These issues were then priced for, with cost options, and Aaron’s willingness to adhere to our budget ensured we were able to deal with the most important items first, with less pressing issues to follow when the budget allowed. This good impression followed through with excellent communication between AKK and ourselves, making managing a remote site much easier. A schedule of works provided in advance of the tasks being carried out ensured we were able to liaise with Tenants and keep them informed, arrange to keep areas clear and enable AKK and patrons to the site to work safely. Following this work up with photographic evidence provided us with additional reassurance, saved on costs of visiting site immediately and gave us ample information to feedback to clients. Working with AKK on this project was a breeze - we have since instructed them for additional works and hope to continue working with them across our portfolio.

Aaron did a great job with the light fixtures in my flat. The flat required quite a bit of work and Aaron was very helpful from the get-go. After we discussed what needed to be done, Aaron provided me with an accurate quote and made sure to follow the timelines we agreed. The flat has now a brand new air to it – it looks modern and bright. Aaron also installed the breakfast bar pendant lights which look amazing! Throughout the work Aaron was very professional, punctual and hard working. He always ensured I had all the information I needed to make decisions and that I was happy with the result.

This a a small jewel in the area with the best coffee in Shoreditch. Friendly helpful staff and great breakfast / lunch options. How they turnout the food from this tiny space is a miracle. One day they didn't have any jam but offered us fresh sweet raspberries as an alternative. We pushed them into our warm croissant and have never looked back! 😃

Just came in randomly and unexpectedly, but this place was so cozy and nice. Warm welcome and have a good quality of the croissant and coffee. Definitely come back and I’ll try the pistachio croissant and ice latte next time.

Alex did partial rewire of an entire apartment and installed a new fusebox. I found them to be punctual and highly professional at all times and kept us updated every step of the way. They also cleaned up extremely well - that you wouldn’t have known they’d been in. I wouldn’t hesitate about using Bright Sparks again and highly recommend Alex and his team.

Alex did an EICR inspection for my apartment and the follow-up repairs. He was very responsive from the get-go, and wrote back to my enquiry email within minutes. He arrived when he said he would, both for the EICR and for the follow-up work. While the repairs were more expensive than I had imagined (£2000), I believe that they were necessary according to the EICR standards and that Alex gave me a fair price for them. He was willing to break down his quote for me and to get on the phone to discuss some parts I had questions about, and was friendly and helpful on the phone, not patronising or defensive as I have sometimes unfortunately had the experience when trying to get clarity on pricing issues in similar situations. He made sure there were no nasty surprises, he was very thorough, and (as I am away currently and couldn't be there in person while the work was being done) sent me various photos and a clear overview of the work that had been done. It was a really pleasant surprise to see how immaculate everything looked. For example, he'd warned me that due to a bad cabling job previously done in the bathroom, he might have to cut a hole in the ceiling to access cabling. I was visualising a nightmare result where I had to get loads of follow-up work done to address a resulting hole in my bathroom ceiling, but it turns out Alex installed a nice neat little panel that looks great and I don't need to worry about it at all. Similarly he went to the trouble of spray painting some new outdoor wiring white so that it matched the outdoor wall paint and didn't look ugly. I think it's pretty rare that someone would take this effort to make sure that the space looks clean and pretty after the work has been done. He was very communicative and efficient. He was also willing to work with me when I had some issues getting keys to him, and was flexible and understanding about those little frustrations. I would definitely recommend Alex and work with him again, I'm grateful for his care and commitment to a great job.

It’s been an absolute delight having Alex do a thorough overhaul of my flat’s ageing electrics. As well as being good value, professional, reliable, punctual and a very nice guy, he is amazing at taking the initiative and going above and beyond. E.g. taking the time to check my smoke and fire alarms were in date (they weren’t), changing some previously-installed light fittings that didn’t match the rest for no extra charge, proactively mentioning that although my fuse board was totally safe, it would fail it’s next check as legislation has changed… I could go on. I can 110% wholeheartedly recommend Bright Sparks. What a refreshing change from the usual jobsworth electricians.

He was at all time times professional and clear. He was immensely patient explaining things and astonishingly prompt in getting back to me when I had questions.
