I wanted French pastries and a selection of cakes for my birthday. I decided to give them a try based on the photos on their Facebook page and reviews. Due to Covid they didn't have as many selection as they would normally have but I managed to pick up a few things. I'm a foodie and love cake so I'm very picky when it comes to taste and textures. Most of the cakes were good, my favourites were the passion fruit cheesecake and mojito cake. The chocolate ones were nice too, not sickly sweet. The pastries were good too, the plain croissant was buttery and fresh. The reason why I left out a star was that they missed a pastry in my bag, I did make a large order and spent about £50 so was miffed at myself also for not checking before I left. I found out they need about 2 days notice for occasion cakes which isn't too bad. Only issue is that no-one ever picks up the phone whenever I called! Other than that if you're in the area give it a try (just make sure you check you have everything before you leave!!)

Went on a post-gym date with my gym bro to check out the newest restaurant in Palmers Green. I must say the restaurant exterior is striking, and definitely put it on my radar. Then I checked the reviews - with so many 5/5 reviews in such a short time, my thoughts were 'This is either an incredibly fantastic place or the reviews might be botted'. I am happy to say it is the former, rather than the latter. Our favourite in London, or even the UK, has been the Eleonora at Tomo's Pizzeria in Hornsey. I can say a new star is born in Palmer's Green, and I was impressed at how well Anima Napoletana held up with even that best slice of pizza I've eaten in my life (so far). First up, we ordered the parmigiana. What can I say? Sumptuous. None of that canned tomato odour/profile. Just unbelievably rich tomato and aubergine flavours - with nary a hint of preservative bitterness. Although the menu does not specify the type of tomato used in the sauce, I would wager that it was bona fide San Marzano. Then, there's the star of the show - the eponymous Anima Napoletana pizza, which absolutely blew us away. Ranking among the best pizzas I've ever had the pleasure of eating, the Anima Napoletana proved to be a completely unique experience while remaining steadfastly faithful to its Neapolitan roots. What hit us first was this rich, smokey flavour - I could not quite tell if the cheese or the tomato was imparted with this. However, it all came together in such a way - vivid tomato sauce, chewy milky mozzarella, wood fired pizza dough - topped off by the smoky flavour X factor. Heavenly stuff - worthy of being a signature or namesake for this particular pizzeria. Anyhow, I digress. Hamid served our table wonderfully, and gave a 10/10 service experience too. We will definitely be coming back again!

A piece of Italy lives in the UK!! I just came from Italy and I was craving authentic Italian pizza!! Where everything is done the way is meant to be done (no pineapple allowed) and boy or boy!!! Italy has come to us!!! Everything was done to perfection!! The service was great and the place is this hidden gem in North London!! And more important, my wife left this place feeling happy

I recently hired Kostas to fix a persistent issue with the electrical wiring in our kitchen. We were experiencing constant flickering lights, and it turned out to be a faulty connection that he identified and repaired quickly. In addition to that, he also installed beautiful under-cabinet lighting, which has made such a difference in our kitchen's functionality and ambiance. WOW! What a find !! I have had an emergency electrical issue at my residence and had a number of electricians who contacted me and gave quotes over the phone which seemed high and the advice about requiring a new consumer unit that I didn't really need. Kosta came through on one of the sites to find professionals around the building trade i.e. electricians. He was very polite, approachable and easy to talk to individual. Due to my emergency electrical issue Kosta came to my property within 30mins of my call. He initially examined for major issues and left in a safe position and then said he would come the following day i.e. today. Wed 08/01/25, Kosta arrived as he advised and began a full examination of my wiring system and discovered some concerns which he rectified and provided further advice whereby there was no need to exchange my consumer unit and avoided extensive electrical work which we did not need. As a result, I can positively say this man is a genuine professional electrician that I would not hesitate to contact in the future and would definitely recommend his services. Well done Kosta and wish you all the best in the future. Ervin has done a few bits of work for me in my flat. The work consisted of moving plug and light sockets and installing new sockets in the walls. I was very pleased with the work carried out and felt his quotes were reasonable. He also charged exactly what was quoted each time. Lovely traditional high end cafe. Went with my wife for lunch. I had the Limes breakfast while my wife had a beef stew. Quality of the food was great. Knocked a star off as beef stew took a longer time to serve but other than that faultless. Will absolutely be going to Limes again. I recently visited Limes Cafe and was greeted promptly upon arrival, which started the experience on a positive note. I ordered the Lime Loaded Breakfast and a cappuccino. The cafe was full and busy, which is understandable given its popularity, but the overall experience was disappointing. It took more than 30 minutes for the breakfast to arrive, and by that time, my coffee had gone cold, making it hard to fully enjoy the meal. The bacon was overly salty, and the toast was brought out well before the main dish, meaning it had gone cold by the time I got to eat it. While the staff was friendly, the service felt average and could use improvement. It would have been helpful if the team had been more attentive and kept me informed about the delay. Overall, the potential for a great experience is there, but the service and timing need to be better coordinated to ensure guests can enjoy their meals as intended.

The menu is a perfect mix of classic brunch favourites and creative twists. I went for their breakfast muffin which was delicious 100000/10!
