Frozen Blueberry £23 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So having asked you guys to recommend a lounge to review I decided to go visit Leo’s Bar and Grill. This new lounge is located right next to Leytonstone station and just 2 doors away from E11 Lounge. Well it’s not a lounge more of an Italian cafe but they have a shisha lounge at the back which is small and cosy. As we walked in we mentioned we are here for shisha so we were taken to the back where the lounge is and weee seated. We had a member of staff come to take our order but then I requested the shisha and drinks menu so we can see what’s on offer. They are still on a soft launch phase where a full menu hasn’t been made but checking out what’s on offer and with the communication issues with our waiter we let him choose the flavour. Out came the shisha after 10 minutes with 4 lit coals and looking at the bill we were smoking frozen blueberry. We were smoking a Wenge Shisha from @oasistobacco wood series, a solid performer with plenty of clouds. Smoke lasted around 50 minutes before dying down, it began quite strong but died down quickly which was my only gripe. The lounge itself is quite small but very nice and cosy. The decor is on par with the new lounges popping up recently. Service was brilliant we had around 6 coal changes in an hour without asking once which was good. Vibe was nice and chilled with a mixture of customers either here to eat, smoke or drink. Prices were fair starting from £20-23 max, you do get a premium shisha and brilliant service to match. Parking free on residential roads after 2pm and in the nearby car park after 5pm. Cash and cards both accepted.

This place is so underestimated! An absolute gem of Leytonstone. From the outside, you might just walk past but once you’re inside you are instantly impressed with wonderful friendly service, outstanding food and delicious wine. The chef here is brilliant! Every single dish we had was absolutely delicious. Our party of four shared the prawn and saffron risotto, Mediterranean sea bass, sticky steak salad and prawn in white wine sauce and we were absolutely bowled over by how delicious they were! Highly recommended

Honestly I don't want to gush but we have just eaten here, to try it out, and my goodness we ordered all the starters just to get a taste for the place. The flavours were UNREAL, the chef is a genius. this is some of the nicest food we've ever eaten. And it's a lovely place to sit and relax, beautiful decor, lovely service. Can't speak highly enough!

Great service albeit slightly slow (45 mins or more wait for food on a not so busy day). The waitress was very professional throughout the day/eve. All the other staff showed care and consideration and I felt very welcomed during my time at Leo’s. Music to begin with was terrible however that’s my personal preference, I don’t like trance music but this changed as the eve went on. I would recommend going to Leo’s as the food was great .. but please bring back your lamb chops!

I’ve been to Tamping Grounds a few times now, and it’s already my favorite coffee spot. They’ve got everything I love in a cafe - amazing coffee (both regular and decaf), super friendly baristas who are always welcoming, and a really cozy atmosphere. My long black is always perfect, and my wife’s flat white is spot on every single time. They’ve never let us down! I also love that they sell high-quality whole beans to take home - it’s a coffee lover’s dream. The place is always buzzing with families and has such a nice vibe. One of my favorite things to do is take a walk around Wanstead Flats and then pop in here for a treat. It’s the perfect way to spend the morning. I haven’t tried their toasties or pastries yet, but they look amazing, so that’s next on my list. For somewhere that’s only been open since last year, they’re absolutely smashing it. I can’t wait to keep coming back! Definitely recommend checking it out!!!

Into the Woods is becoming a haven to me. I have been in twice now for pancakes with mixed berries and coffee whilst in the area. I am a weekday morning visitor and found it a serene atmosphere to enjoy a bite and deal with some work emails. The food is wonderful, the price point is fair and the staff are lovely. I will be back soon!

Just finished a late lunch here. Great atmosphere, cute place, food was delicious. Good vegan options for my vegan sister, and meaty selection for myself. Service was quick and friendly, even making sure their eggs were cooked through for me (currently pregnant). Nice little shop with good product selection, and bakery looks yummy! Will definitely be back.

We just moved in this area and had the pleasure morning at Out of the Woods, and I can confidently say it was one of the best brunch cafe experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we stepped into Out of the Woods, we were enveloped in the warm, friendly and cozy atmosphere, with a charming mix of rustic and modern touches that set the perfect mood for an enjoyable morning. There were lots of plants as well, which I loved. But what truly set the woods apart was the impeccable service, from all the staffs - the chefs, Monica and Chris. All of them were nothing short of exceptional. Not only did they provide personal recommendations from the menu, but she also made sure throughout the morning/afternoon that we were having a great time. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her customers were evident, and it wasn’t just us. If you find yourself in Leytonstone area, do yourself a favor and visit Out of the Woods. You won’t regret it!

J'Adore

644 High Rd Leytonstone, Bushwood, London E11 3AA, UK | Coffee Shop
P: 020 8637 2703

Rating: 4.8 (155) Price Level:

This bakery is an absolute gem in Leytonstone. From the moment you step inside, it feels like you've entered a dream. The shop itself is a whimsical wonderland, with soft pink and pretty aesthetic that could have been pulled straight out of a delicate drawing. The offerings are nothing short of spectacular. Each pastry is a work of art, with golden layers and delicate details that are almost too pretty to eat. And yet, once you take that first bite, you'll find that they taste as incredible as they look. One standout dish from the hot food menu is the Moussaka, made with tender aubergines. It’s comforting yet refined, bursting with flavor in every bite. If you’re after something instant and savory, their quiches are a must-try prefectlg flaky crusts and rich, satisfying fillings that make for an ideal midday treat. The drinks are just as refreshing, with their fresh orange, carrot, and ginger juice being a particular favourite. It’s the perfect, zesty pick-me-up after a pastry or two. For something truly special, they make the incredible cakes on order. I had layers of hazelnut cream, delicate sponge, and a hint of vanilla made for a decadent combination that tasted as luxurious as it looked. One of its best-kept secrets: the soup of the day. It's often overshadowed by the usual menu items, and, it deserves a spotlight. I've tried the spicy carrot soup and the mushroom soup, both of which were wonderfully comforting and packed with flavour. During pleasant weather, the roof opens up, and the canopy of trees above makes for a serene, tranquil environment - ideal for a peaceful retreat with friends or family. Whether you're popping in for a quick pastry or settling in for a relaxed afternoon, this bakery is a delightful place to unwind and indulge. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy beautiful food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that feels like a little slice of heaven.

I’ve been here twice and would highly recommend it. They do beautiful delicious patisseries all home freshly home made daily. They also do macaroons too. I went for a brunch and had truffle egg and that spot on. We also got pulled beef on toasted bread that so nice too. All food cooked freshly, none of this packets shop bought products plated up nice they don’t serve that. The finishing and deco on cakes and on the Patesserie is classy . Happy that We have a nice cafe local , perfect. Although it’s on the pricey side but happy to pay for amazing, freshly cooked food.

Magic & team provided outstanding service at short notice, stepping in to install 5 electrical boxes centrally in 5 classrooms during half-term in time for when the learners return. They were not only efficient but also maintained exceptional cleanliness throughout the job. In addition to the electrical work, they went above and beyond by including RJ45 cabling within heavy-duty conduit, which was a huge bonus for our setup. Highly recommend their expertise and professionalism – a top-notch job from start to finish!

The first visit was from David and he got part of the lighting working for us within two hours; however, due to time constraints a return visit was planned for 8am the following day. The second visit was by Marlowe and he spent 4 hours fault finding and rectifying the issues. Marlowe was very thorough and got the lighting working properly for the first time since we moved in 7 years ago. This is the second time we have used this company and I will definitely use them again. The service is prompt, they are always on time and they just do the job in the most efficient and cost effective way.

I have called on Certified Electricians London Ltd three times now and I couldn't be more impressed with the service! From the moment I contacted them, the communication was prompt, professional, and clear. After sending photos or short videos via text message or WhatsApp to help diagnose my issues, they scheduled an appointment quickly and arrived on time on each occasion. I saw their van on my way to work one morning and took a photo of their contact details painted on the side. What fortunate serendipity that has proved to be! Marlowe, my electrician on all three occasions, was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and efficient, quickly diagnosing and resolving the electrical issue I had on the first two occasions. He took the time to explain what was happening and offered helpful advice on how to prevent future problems. On the third occasion he fitted outdoor sockets and fitted a new ceiling light. All the work was completed to a high standard, and he made sure everything was in perfect working order before leaving. On top of the technical skills, I really appreciated how friendly, respectful, and tidy he was throughout the process. It's not every day that you encounter such great customer service alongside top-notch workmanship. I highly recommend David’s team at Certified Electricians London Ltd for any electrical needs and will definitely be calling them for future projects.
