This brand new cafè has just opened locally to me and it’s INCREDIBLE! They’re super quick in service but not only that they hold space for you for a quick coffee or a sit down vibe. Genuinely one of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted!! They have wrap and the best one is called ‘The Dog’ with all its trimming and extras! Really hospital and anyone who is in the area must visit! Thank you for Farah and Pedro for making my day & doing customer service right 🥰

Kahfi is such a wonderful find! The space has such a warm and welcoming vibe, perfect for hanging out alone or with friends. The coffee is also excellent—full of flavor and prepared with care. One of the most interesting dining experiences I have ever had. The extensive searching on the way in sets the tone and being taken through numerous locked gates. But the Roast lunch was really good, albeit the cutlery was plastic for safety reasons but the service was great. There is a specific time you leave so if you finish your meal early you just have to wait to be let out. All in all, worth a visit for the experience and the Roast!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Clink Restaurant in HMP Brixton, and it was an unforgettable experience, especially with their festive Christmas menu. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, a refreshing contrast to the prison setting. The restaurant is well-designed, offering a comfortable dining experience. One aspect that surprised me was how many guests seemed unaware of the prison's guidelines. It's crucial to read the restrictions, as certain items are not allowed on the premises it will be emailed to you once your submission has been accepted. Additionally, be sure to arrive 30 minutes before your booking time, as this is necessary for the search and security protocols. The highlight of our visit was the impeccable service from Mohamed. His professionalism and attentiveness made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations on the Christmas specials that truly enhanced our dining experience. Now, about the food! The Christmas menu featured a delightful selection of seasonal dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. It was clear that the kitchen team takes great pride in their work, and we appreciated the chance to enjoy such a festive meal in this extraordinary setting. Overall, our visit to the Clink Restaurant was not only a unique dining experience but also an opportunity to support an initiative that provides training and rehabilitation for inmates. We left feeling satisfied by both the excellent food and the meaningful impact of our visit. I highly recommend dining at the Clink Restaurant, especially during the holiday season. What a fabulous experience! This culinary experience is a program for those chosen from the Brixton prison to participate in growing, cooking, and serving food to paying customers in order to provide a skill to utilize after their sentence is over. Reservations need to be 7 days in advance and require several security questions and a £15pp deposit. Several dining options are available. Lunch, afternoon tea, and Thursday night gourmet 3-course dinner, we chose the last option. You need to put belongings into a locker as no phones or personal items except for a credit card to pay are allowed. The photos included, except the one of me in my prison issued boots, were pulled off the internet. I made the mistake of wearing open toe sandals, which were not permitted, so I was issued standard prison issued boots to wear. You will go through a metal detector and pat down to enter. Once inside, it looks like any other restaurant. The food was very good. The appetizer was a king crab on a crumpets. The main dish was a paparadrlle of pork and mushrooms in brown gravy. Dessert was an English strawberry tart. Coffee and soft drinks are available at an additional cost. The cost per person was £47, but your £15 deposit is subtracted. Brixton is a men's prison, so all the culinary students are men. They were kind, funny, and happy to chat and seemed like servers from any restaurant. This was a great experience, and they have a few items for sale that help the clink charity. I bought the cook books and a bag. Pictures are included.

A special meal for my birthday and it was fantastic, Tim our waiter was just brilliant. Was filling our water glasses before we even noticed, recommended drinks based on our likes. He was superb with my partner who had multiple allergies to egg milk and nuts. When a course accidentally came out with a sauce which he thought could have milk it in, he quickly made a replacement himself so we could eat together. He sadly had to go quickly at the end, so didn’t have time to thank him properly for how brilliant he was. He was credit to the Clink and HMP Brixton. Will come back for afternoon tea and hope that lovely Tim or his colleagues are working. And hope that I’m served by Tim again in the future!

Very nice relaxing location with friendly customers and customer service, I ordered a peppermint tea but was surprised by the selection of different types of coffee, chocolate, teas and herbal teas.The cookie, cake and ice cream selections were out of this world, found it very difficult to choose so I left it to Gavin who did an excellent job of finding a mixture of ice creams i would enjoy.. WOW WOW WOW!! I will be back and I highly recommend everyone try Koala's out, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Gavin and team for the beautiful experience..

After hearing other reviewers praise the hot chocolate, I decided to visit this caffe. My expectations were already high, but the hot chocolate exceeded them. It’s the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Ginger cake was also tasty. Additionally, the female staff was incredibly kind, with warm smiles that added to the experience. If possible, I’d rate it 10.

Love this cafe. Had a very good coffee and a delicious BLT sandwich all for very cheap price. Was made quickly and fresh. Service was super friendly. Menu had lots on it. Very decent cafe. Outside was clean and nice seating. Definitely head here for a breakfast or cafe, rather than the posh gentrified hipster cafe in Brixton.

Sean and Matt from Pretty Wired did a brilliant job with our electrical work. They were professional from start to finish - providing a clear quote, setting specific dates and times which they stuck to, and promptly sorting all paperwork. They kept us well informed about what they'd need and when we might lose power during the works. The job was completed to a high standard, they were tidy and considerate whilst working, and took time to explain everything clearly. We are delighted and relieved to have connected with SES Electrical Contractors, which has systematically sorted out a number of overdue issues with electrical installations including emergency lighting, fire alarm systems and most recently adding motion-sensor lighting for the communal staircase. The managing director, Byron Sanders, went the extra mile to ensure that this latest installation was the best it could be. I can’t thank Byron and the SES Electrical Contractors team enough! After waking up to no electricity in the house, I spent hours calling other electricians but couldn’t find anyone available. Thankfully, I was recommended SES Electrical, and from the moment I spoke to Byron, the service was amazing. He kindly offered to troubleshoot the issue over the phone before arranging a visit, patiently guiding me through a few steps and helping me resolve the issue myself! This saved me at least £300 in Electrian costs/call out fees, and was such kind and professional service which made my day. I highly recommend Byron and the SES team enough for any electrical needs!

Byron visited us to help diagnose a fault we've been having with our oven. He was courteous, efficient and communicative throughout explaining his findings in an easy to understand way. He has provided consistently excellent service in the past helping us diagnose a problem with the electrics of our boiler over the phone and assisting in the sourcing and installation of a range hood. I highly recommend SES and Byron!

I called Sean from PJ electrics recently and he was polite and courteous and offered to provide a free quote. Ryan came along and confirmed the job. Ryan and John were prompt, polite and respectful - I even handed them the keys so they could let themselves in/out. The work was speedy, done to an excellent standard and they left my shed spotless! I am 100% pleased with this work - you should try this company - they have “good old-fashioned” values (well mannered, great work ethic and polite) you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely coffee ☕ shop in Market row, Brixton. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. My partner had coffee that is from Ethiopia. I had tea. The atmosphere inside and outside the coffee shop is amazing! The music fits in well with the decor and matches the personality of the owner. Definitely a must visit even if it's just the take in the smell of the incense frankese that he burns in and outside the shop.

We stopped by for a cup of coffee and it was one of our favourite cuppas we've ever had! Ethiopian coffee served by a very kind man, alongside two glasses of water - proper way to serve coffee in very cute espresso cups too. The espresso itself was perfect - nice strong taste from beans that had been roasted to perfection. The atmosphere and interior are also very warm and homely. There were some interesting food options too but we had no space in our stomachs for anything besides coffee. Next time :) 5/5 would recommend

Incredible coffee and lovely place & service. We felt very welcomed, the homemade cake and cookies were delicious and it was comfortable and pleasant to have our afternoon stop there. As vegetarians I feel that we have to come back to try the food too! We had Ethiopian coffee, without milk of course... Wow!

Remarkable new coffee spot in central Brixton run by the masterminds behind Assembly and Volcano roasters. Door is a very approachable specialty coffee shop that welcomes both commuters and full fledged coffee hobbyists, allowing all patrons to dip their toes in as far as they’d like to the the specialty coffee experience. One of my favourite coffee shops. One of my favourite London suburbs, Brixton. Door Coffee serve the coffee brand Volcano, and coffee is in the blood of each and every member of the Door team, from owners to Baristas. The nicest people, this place has a free, yes free, coffee day every quarter, as well as coffee and team making masterclasses on regular occasions. For the love of coffee, get over there!

If you think you've had the best coffee of your life, go to Door. In a 'new-chique' part of Brixton (near Canova Hall and some other recently formed bars) Door appeared, immediately establishing itself as one the best coffee shops in London for three reasons: the selection of beans, the choice of filters and most of all incredible quality coffee. The service is excellent too. If you are sad about losing Federation and enjoy going up the hill to Stir, the coffee here will make your day, or week, or year.
