Very peaceful coffee shop which is a place of respite from the bustling industrial area surrounding it. Nice coffee, nice toasties and a relaxing vibe. There were a good amount of sockets so working remotely is good here.

Siracusa - Italian Restaurant Brentford

Brentford Lock, High St, Brentford TW8 8LF, UK | Italian Restaurant
P: 020 8758 0998

Rating: 4.5 (474) Price Level:

My wife and I went here for dinner during our honeymoon trip to London. From the moment you enter the restaurant you are made to feel like an old friend visiting for dinner. The staff was friendly, joking and talking with us while we ate, making us feel very comfortable. The food was amazing (I highly recommend the lasagna) and the desserts were the perfect end to our meal.

Service was superb, food was delish. We've had a pizza, chips and two bottles of red wine. Kiara (the manager of the restaurant was very nice and we've (my sister and I) got baileys shot for free! We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much for the great service

I recently dined at Siracusa Italian restaurant, and the authentic pizzas and pasta were truly exceptional. The flavors were spot-on, leaving me thoroughly impressed. I can't wait to return in the summer for the picturesque Brentford canal view seating. Highly recommend for a delightful dining experience!

Nice coffee shop in the Boston Manor Park next to the playground. Great place to relax with seats outside and inside. The coffee is good, I ordered also toast with avocado and it was tasty, fresh and it has plenty of avocado on it, worth the price 👍

Such a great place for families. We hired their activity room for our little one’s birthday and everyone had a fantastic time. Despite being super busy, the staff was really welcoming and everything we needed was there. Easy, stress-free hiring process. Thanks again to the whole team working there, you’re doing great! We LOVE The Potting Shed and Boston Manor Park! PS: The car park there makes it easy to bring party supplies, and is also very convenient for elderly people.

A lovely cafe in a great location, with a playground right outside. A very friendly atmosphere, with absolutely lovely staff and a great welcoming space. Ordered food for my sons’ with allergies which they were really helpful with. The food literally came fresh and beautiful once we had settled in our seats! Was so impressed with the service and the delicious food (and great coffee!). Absolutely 100% recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or even a quick drink, ice cream or snack!💖

Absolutely fantastic pub which we visited for the first time on a Friday. Fantastic range of 10 real ales. Returned to have lunch & another pint after our visit to the London Steam Museum next door. Lovely friendly staff. A fabulous asset to the local area & sorry that I don't live there.

My go-to local - has a Sunday Roast to die for, and the ribs on a Thursday are my favourite. They aren’t all winners though - pizza’s been overcooked the few times I’ve had it, so decided to stick with the classics. Drinks are decently priced, and it’s the perfect atmosphere to get together with friends or have a cheeky lunch. Of course we love the resident dog (and lesser seen cat!) all in all, it’s an incredibly cozy pub with a great atmosphere, great service and cannot be beat by any of the other nearby pubs in the Kew Bridge area, in terms of atmosphere, price and quality!

An excellent pub we found on our walk to Gunnersbury Park. Popped in for a drink but liked the look of the menu & food so went back the day after for lunch. Superb value lunch menu was unexpected in London and was really good food. Sandwich, fries and a soft drink for £6? Cannot knock that. Drinks were also the cheapest round about too. Great atmosphere in the evening, with a nice outdoor area with plenty of seating and cover from the sun or rain. Can’t say enough good things really! Staff were great too. Resident doggo is friendly and will let you fuss him if he can be bothered 😂

This place was hoppin'! Lots of options for seating. We were surprised to see daily specials, and just happened to be a Wednesday, steak special night. We each ordered a different steak. They weren't 5 star tender, but combined with all the offerings, sauces; I'd give 4.5. The value well worth it. The pub pup definitely was comfortable with all the activity! We will head back for sure

What a great place, The Brewery Tap in Brentford. Also, a most perplexing pub as it forms part of the Fuller's stable and is hardly a Fuller's brewery tap as that should be The Mawson's Arms (Coach and Horses, if memory serves) just a tease to the Griffin brewery there. The Brewery Tap is a great pub of some heritage with plenty of space both inside and out, lots out. Lovely people and lovely beer that we expect from the Chiswick experts. A great pint and chat, thank you.

One Over the Ait, Kew Bridge

8 Kew Bridge Rd, Brentford TW8 0FJ, UK | Pub
P: 020 3581 5700

Rating: 4.2 (1432) Price Level:

Beautiful location and easy to get to whether by walking or bus (65 to Kew Bridge). Modern-feel with some mix-'n-match of various elements, all nice on their own but kinda missing like a central, cohesive feel to it. Seating outside is marvelous, with a pool table on the second floor as well. Service was a little impersonal and haphazard but it might just be that they were kinda busy (? although not really). Poor servers had to keep going up and down from first to second floor, though. Tough. Food-wise, lots of great options. Had my first ever Fish and Chips in the UK. Chips were probably up there in the top chips (or fries) I've ever had. Fish batter was good and crisp, but the fish itself I feel could have done with some marinating with herbs and spices but apparently, as I was told, marinating the fish and schzuzing it up a little bit is a bit uncommon in Briton restos and pubs. So I guess if judged by it is what it is, pretty good fish. The sauces were stellar. Great selection of drinks overall. Price not bad for the portions they serve.

First time in this pub and I really liked it. It was mid afternoon, so almost no guests besides us. The food was great, and the staff very friendly. I love the internal decor, upstairs have somewhat separated places for groups. Good river view from the upper teracce.

One Over the Ait by Kew Bridge offers a mixed experience. While the ambiance is charming and the beer selection is commendable, the food leaves something to be desired. The limited menu lacks variety, and the taste is mediocre at best. However, if you’re looking for a nice spot with a good atmosphere to enjoy a drink, this place fits the bill. Perfect for a casual outing with drinks, but don’t expect much from the food.

We had our wedding reception here and it was great! The package had more food and wine than we needed, and the food was amazing. They were super accommodating, with letting us set up, looking after our cakes and moving the seating plan around. The location next to the river is lovely and feels off the beaten track, despite being in London. Would highly recommend!

It's still rather in the middle of a building site, with the Brentford Project being finished off around it. You get to it either via The Ham or go past St Lawrence Church on Augustus Close then turn left down the little alley. The coffee shop (which is due to become a deli and maybe a flower shop as well) is behind (North of) the newly occupied Hollandbury House. Soon you will be able to walk down to it from the High Street, opposite Market Place. Inside it's nicely furnished and the flat whites are really good. The staff have always been efficient and friendly and you can bring your dog too.

Aqua Vista Bar | London

Unit 1, Brentford Lock, High St, Brentford TW8 8AQ, UK | Bar
P: 020 8847 5777

Rating: 4.2 (322) Price Level:

Great place for lunch or a relaxed coffee and snacks with friends or just by yourself. Owner and chef both dedicated to providing good food and good service. I had the quinoa and beetroot veggie burger and it was light and flavourful. The interior is quite quaint and tastefully done. The location was a pleasant surprise as, even though it’s August off the main road, it actually backs onto Brentford lock and so has views to the water and a lovely bridge over the lock with an open space, contrasting with the busy road on the other side.

Wow what a spectacular venue and location.. location is everything and they have it, on the water with outside undercover seating, everything from the front of the building to once you walk inside to this rather elegant white setting,u would almost feel bad if you just went in for a cocktail. I believe it new owners or they changing names now but if you looking for some good wholesome Indian cuisine then defined make a stop.. not your typical Indian restaurant where you like to go and get portions of everything but food is good.. Vegetarian friendly if they have available at the time you go in. I would definitely want to go there when it's buzzing more to see it all come together. Great potential. Staff friendly

We had a lovely afternoon at the Marina Lock on Saturday. We arrived at 5.15 and were offered the lunch and dinner menu but were not told that the dinner menu which began at 6.00 was half price. We ordered a burger for my daughter from the lunch menu which was well seasoned. The chips were also tasty. We had a couple of cocktails which were nice. My partner and I shared a mixed grill for 2 from the evening menu and a garlic nan. We had to ask a couple of times for water and the bill which eventually was sorted. The atmosphere was good with a nice mix of music and we sat outside near the canal. We will definately be back another day to try some more items on the evening menu!

I would say it is one of the best English breakfast restaurant in West London. I tried full breakfast and my wife tried chicken 1/2 pound burger with chips. Both were amazing! Also, tried cappuccino which was good. Even the service was good. There is a parking area outside the restaurant for a maximum stay of 30mins which fits around 4-5 cars. I will highly recommend this restaurant and none of the dish will disappoint you. Have shared fews pics of the restaurant and food.

This is hands down the only establishment that keeps on innovating, creating and keeping all its patrons well fed, imbibed, entertained and treated like 5 star guests. This has all been led by Jo and her amazing team. Nothing ever seems to much, the attention to detail is amazing! Well done to you all, and thank you Jo for always pushing the envelope in ensuring the Weir is a place of wonder and an experience not may places in London or anywhere come close.

Updating this review: I've been to this pub more times than I can count and the service just gets better and better! Plus their food is absolutely amazing, I've tried almost everything from the menu and the chef/kitchen staff know how to make a delicious meal (but be warned, the portion sizes are big, especially for the roasts, fish & chips, burgers and the chicken pie), so I want to give a big shoutout to them! Callum, Nial, Yarna (she's the best at making cocktails), Erica, Hannah, Aliya and Olivia are great hosts and I will definitely continue to visit this pub

A lovely evening in the garden with music and food. Great service from Callum even though the pub was busy. Cocktails were lovely :) 2 for 1 on pizzas was a bargain - the prawn pizza was the highlight! The Calamari was nice but the alioli needed a bit more flavour. The roast chicken was tasty and again a reasonable price. We will be back!

Had a brilliant lunch, it was pretty quiet on a monday but did mean we had pick of the outside tables. Great location and views by the canal. Food was excellent, albeit slightly slow to arrive, and there were special cocktails this day. All our dishes looked impressive but obviously it’s about the taste and it did not disappoint. Our server Alfie was brilliant. Couldn’t do enough for us, kept checking everything was fine but not obtrusively and had good banter throughout. Highly recommended but I see it does get busy on a nice, sunny evening.
