The cookie dough was the BEST DESSERT I ever had! It was not too sweet and there’s a lot of options. The service was very good, staffs were all friendly. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back again. I really wanna try their breakfast.

My favourite place for breakfast during my trip to London. Delicious full english breakfast with full flavour all around, crispy bacon and perfectly runny eggs. Waffles are a heavenly treat as well. The staff is very friendly with much love for their work. On top they can keep their cool during rush hours with multiple delivery guys waiting impatiently. The room is decorated in a lovely christmas theme right now.

Love this place— it’s a family favourite! Fantastic breakfast with excellent vegetarian options and a waffle for dessert that motivates the kids to wipe their plates clean to enjoy as a treat. Excellent coffee. Friendly, efficient and accommodating staff. Our small dogs are also welcome, so really the whole family come here for a treat. We highly recommend!

The call handler was very sympathetic and professional and got a next day appointment to allow for childcare cover. electricians arrived and got the job done in about half an hour - they had to reposition two double sockets and just replace other. very friendly, efficient and showed me working sockets. I called ‘Emergency Electrician London’ after a failed Smart Meter installation by our energy company (sub-contracted out to Magnum Utilities) left us with no power in the house at all. I got an answering machine initially but didn’t leave a message as I thought I’d just try another company. However, Cyril called back within 2 mins. and agreed to pop around within 90 mins. He arrived after about 60 mins. and got to work straight away and managed to find the issue after about 10 mins (a disconnected wire). He explained to me exactly what had happened and got the power back on within another 5 mins. and then he proceeded to check all the other connections to ensure they were tight - some were very loose. All in all he was very professional, on time and he clearly knew what he was doing. Overall I’m very happy with his service and thankful for his quick response and fix.

Highly recommended! It's a total pleasure to have work done by W5 Electrical, from start to finish. Clear and fast communication from the beginning, all confirmed by text (this is rare in itself and saves lots of time, compared to others). They arrived on time, did a brilliant job, did an amazing tidy up both inside and outside, took great care throughout, including filling a hole made while installing a new electrical supply for a cooker. Will and Jack were lovely people to have working in the house, checking details and keeping me informed as they worked. Met Kieran too and it's wonderful to have work done by a local company who really care about doing an excellent job and have pride in the result. Fantastic, professional and efficient local company, and I will definitely use them in future as they are truly the best. Benjamin responded promptly to sort out an emergency loss of power late on a very cold day. He was able to isolate the problem caused by some building work and restore our heating. I was impressed by the logical way he worked through the various possibilities to locate the fault. He visited again to repair the break in the lighting circuit, without damaging the ceiling. He also lengthened the main cable, in preparation for a smart meter being fitted. He communicated well with us, explaining exactly what was needed at each stage. His assistants Matt and then Nick were polite and efficient too.

I was very impressed with Benjamin from the outset. He called me back straight away (on the weekend) when I couldn’t originally get through. He is articulate and organised and answered all the questions I had. He requested the information he needed which I provided and he promptly came back with a quote. He turned up on time, and communicated with me throughout the whole three week process from appointment confirmation to performing an EIC and then returning to rectify the issues he found. He brought a polite and competent team with him to do the work. Whilst it was not cheap, his prices are transparent on the website and I believe he was worth every penny as he gave me reassurance that he and his team had performed a thorough job. Stumbled across this venue today that has been on my hometown doorstep underneath my nose and never knew it was there! Amazing reviews and one of the few cafes that offer marmite toasties on their menu (I am a lover) firgured wed give it a go! Walked in heaving in a nice bustling way! Despite being busy I was recognized as waiting for a table straight away at Around 11.45 on a week day (term time). was seen too quickly and asked how many to be seated which felt nice as a customer to be recognised and welcomed. We got a table as others left and slowly the place quietened down after the rush! The owners/staff were very attentive came over to take our order and advised about items on the menu! Swapping white bread to brown etc, offering milk alternatives for my chai latte (delicious) and flat whites we had (that were served very hot and stayed that way no going cold!) Elvis and ivy is a very vibrant cafe, quirky decor and seating, but also cosy atmosphere! ( The back door opens frequently which does give a cold breeze here and there so kept coat on but besides that, that is my only fault). The friendly and welcoming aura from the staff was lovely, with my gran also helping her by handwriting her a reciete as their printer was out of action, which she really appreciated as she's into keeping track of her spending! I thought I'd give this place and staff a review as it was a refreshing cafe to visit and will definitely go back again regularly! when I googled I couldn't see a menu photo so thought I'd add

Chas came out to sort out what transpired to be a faulty plug on my wall radiator which blew. He was very thorough and checked everything. Looked at my fuseboard and gave me good advice on that as well. Safety is key! He is a very experienced and up to date with current Gov regulations. Tentacle Electrical came out within 15 minutes when I couldn’t reset my RCD on a Friday afternoon. Chas identified the fault which was fortunately something that could be isolated. He recommended a new consumer unit as mine was over 30 years old. He returned to fit that last week and carry out some remedial work. He was friendly, turned up when he said he would and carried out the work efficiently and left everything neat and tidy. Would recommend and definitely use for any future electrical work.
