Very nice place with a specific atmosphere. Will be coming back for your tacos as I want to try them. This time we had nachos(which were undercooked(!)), beer and smoothie(it tasted so unusual but I loved it). Cool place to hang out with your friends in a summer day. They also have a dj playing very good songs which make you want to dance to them. I was surprised people were not dancing maybe it wasn’t late enough... The staff is very friendly as well. They also have got a hammock there!🥹 and some random toilet seat in the garden which I found absolutely terrific hahaha. Definitely worth visiting! P.S. guys you’ve got too much of a plastic in use there. Is there any way you could maybe replace some of the cups with glasses by any chance?

Nice Cafe that delivers on value and taste. Good vegan options like vegan breakfast and bagel. The kids fish finger burger meal is a very good portion size that can feed a hungry adult. Overall decent service and food that is worth a try. Very nice crispy a d fluffy skin on chips. The cafe location looks like a good place to visit in the summer months judging from the other pictures and reviews. 5 stars well deserved ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Located on the edge of the Olympic Park, this is a great little spot for a bite to eat and a few drinks before ABBA Voyage (just a short walk away) or an event at the London Stadium…the weather wasn’t great the day we were there but it felt like walking into a little cafe/restaurant on a foreign holiday, really cute no bells and whistles but a great little place…we sat inside but when the weather is good they have an outdoor patio space which looks lovely. Menu is great and the staff were very friendly and careful to assist with some allergy requirements. We ordered tacos and a burrito and both were delicious. The food was good quality and at a reasonable price. They have a little condiments counter which also offers tap water in large dispensers that you can help yourself to, this is a nice touch. All in all really loved this place and will definitely return.

Amazing Music/ vibe I was Shazaming all the music they were playing 😂🤩🤩🤩🤩. The food was tasty and the Chef was really nice to gives us the time to ask her and recommended us with food and drinks, she comes after we finish our lunch to ask us how’s the food . The staff were really nice and helpful, specially the one who served us, unfortunately I forgot to ask her name 💔💔💔. Food was delicious 😋😋, I ordered Roast chicken Tacos, Fries and MERENGUE. All were perfect🫄🫄🫄. Definitely coming again for the food and vibes.

We’ve been eating here for breakfast over the past week and have pretty much tried the entire brunch menu. The atmosphere was excellent, the staff were attentive and lovely to talk to, and the service was fantastic. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and the portions were very generous. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip to London – probably the best dining experience we’ve had in the city. Highly recommend!

Excellent service excellent atmosphere excellent food good choice of music you cannot go wrong all at a fair price. Everyone is friendly, I got served by Patrick who was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth the visit, 10/10 The burgers are great the mac and cheese is also fantastic and the steak is one of the best I have had in London! I have visited many times in a short time period as it's that good, since discovering it!!

I have dropped by this place for a few months now. They are located near my dog’s hydrotherapy. Of course, they are dog-friendly as far as my reviews go. Food is amazing but there will be a queue on weekends. It’s a tiny gem in Bow Chruch area but worth a visit. They have outdoor and indoor seating, excellent brunch options with smoothies and coffee.

Been here few times. So cozy and food is good, especially their sandwiches ☺️ not huge choice on the pastry side but it is normal since it is a small place.

Really cute café, a hidden gem in Bow! I went there on a Thursday evening, they stsy open quite late for a café which is great. It was very quiet, peaceful. The coffee was great, I got a lovely oat flat white. I'm very picky with coffee and their coffee tastes great :) Grest service, and really lovely barista. Highly reccomend :)

Love this place! Staff are so friendly, coffee is great (and the brownies) and now they are open for evening drinks (wine, cocktails and beer) every Thursday, which is amazing and much needed in the area. Dog friendly - so we take our little dog down and sit outside with a nice wine 😊 Really hoping they open on a Fri/ wkend as well soon! 🤞🏻

A nice warm cafe to escape from the cold. The art work is a nice touch. Basic decor food was ok quite pricey for what it is. I had a cheese and onion toastie and my friend had mozzarella and tomato bun. Paid an extra 20p for oat milk instead of normal milk. Brownie was nice and soft. Would’ve come more often if it wasn’t so pricey. Definitely a treat. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Morgan Arms
43 Morgan St, Bow, London E3 5AA, UK | Pub P: 020 8980 6389
Rating: 4.4 (1100) Price Level:
I wan highly recommending The Morgan Arms . We booked a table for 16, which included 2 babes and 1 who has food allergies. From start to finish the Morgan went above and beyond, accommodating our every need even when some of our party was running late on the day. Communication was on point all the way throughout the booking process, and all went smoothly. The servers on the day were attentive and brought everything in good time. Even though it was early December place settings were bursting with Christmas vibes. The pub was warm, inviting and very comfortable. The chefs are absolute genius at what they do in such a small kitchen (we got a sneak peek). The food was utterly delicious and I can highly recommend the venison main, mouth watering. The staff at the Morgan work really hard to make everything breezy. We will be back, a lot! Thank you all xxx

The food was good, I had a roast beef dinner, and the vegetables could have been a better choice. There is no need for kale with a roast, and whatever the white thing was on the bottom of the food, it needed to be of more substance. The rest of it was good. The service was great. The roast let it down, in my opinion. We spent a lot of money on drinks, hence spending a lot.

Gorgeous pub. Lots of space, big plate glass windows with lots of sunlight, excellent food, friendly service. Dog friendly. Has games. Features a striking, curved solid wood bar. No TV or music, so excellent place to relax and talk. Full marks. (Team - there was only one draught ale "on", out of three nice ones that were potentially available. Without the Golden Hen, we'd have been sad).

Great food!!! Wine is lovely been a few times had a few different wines and they are all lovely. Staff are attentive and friendly making sure you are enjoying yourself. Will come earlier next time so they don't run out of some of the sides and desserts. 100% place to go for Sunday dinner

Fabulous veggie brekkie. Super efficient and friendly staff. Will be back to sample avocado and poached egg on toast which someone at the next table ordered. It looked amazing. We sat on pavement table which suited us but indoors looked cozy.

Honestly the most beautiful meal I could have had. Like visually beautiful on top of tasty. The pancakes were a teensy bit dry but I loved it and you must go here!

I made a detour to visit this cafe and it was worth the walk from Mile End tube station. I visited on a Friday morning where a few parents brought their children en route to school. The cafe is clean and mercifully quiet. There are rules on laptop use. It has paintings hanging on the brick walls and rustic type benches, as well as more comfortable seats. I went for the American style pancake breakfast and it was as good as the best I've had in the USA. This was a treat for me, and I enjoyed it immensely.

loved it here came here the other night visiting London and its a lovely little hidden gem. it was the best vegetarian burger I've ever had. yes it's not a gourmet restaurant but for a cute little pub it's perfect. the servers were lovely and accommodating

A great backstreet pub in east London. Plenty of beers to choose from, both keg and cask. A restaurant area to the rear next to the open kitchen and the patio garden. Great service and a happy atmosphere. Definitely worth a bit of an explore to enjoy a drink and something to eat.

The Green Goose is a fantastic pub that brings together great food, drinks, and a warm atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a pleasure to visit.he ambiance strikes the perfect balance between modern and traditional pub charm, making it ideal for both casual meet-ups and special occasions. The decor is charming, with a lovely mix of modern touches and traditional pub warmth. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind with friends or enjoy a quiet evening solo. The outdoor space is also a huge plus, especially when the weather is nice! Green Goose is a lovely spot in East London, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend it for a relaxed evening out!

Barge East
River Lee, Sweetwater Mooring, White Post Ln, London E9 5EN, UK | Restaurant P: 020 3026 2807
Rating: 4.4 (1532) Price Level:
Our second visit for a Sunday Roast and the food was incredible. The truffle cauliflower cheese is a little pricey as it’s a large portion (more than enough for 3 people). If they could also offer a smaller option for one that would be amazing! Staff are fantastic and the boat is really cosy on a cold winter day.

Was looking for something different for my partner's birthday. Loved it. Quirky location, great atmosphere, fantastic food and fast and friendly service. Loved the cocktails, oysters and fish specials of the day. Everything is well put together and sticks to the theme. Great vibe and music too. We'll be back. Only small thing to improve could be catering to special bookings. I stated in my reservation that it's my partner's birthday. Of course not mandatory at all but it's always nice when places add that tiny bit of extra for the special occasion. Could be a small desert with a candle. Just as a cherry on top.

I was invited there for dinner by my sister and her partner. To be honest, at first I was kind of sceptical about what kind of a place it is since it looks a bit deserted outside. However, it turned out to be a total surprise for me in the end. I was amazed by the taste of all the dishes I ordered (focaccia with a mushroom butter, pumpkin soup and Angus ox cheeks as starters; fried aubergine with crispy lettuce touches and the onglet steak with the delicious sauce 😋). I would have had a dessert afterwards but sadly we didn’t have much time for that because we had to catch the basketball game in the end. All in all, it was a great experience with excellent & quick service by experienced staff in this small boat! ⛴️

The other day, I had dinner with friends at Barge East. When I first arrived in the evening, I thought the place was closed or empty. But as soon as I stepped inside, I was blown away by the ambiance they had created on the boat. The lights and candles set such a cozy, magical atmosphere that we instantly fell in love with it. I was especially happy to find draft beer on such a small boat. Every dish we tried was amazing, with each bite offering a different burst of flavor. We started with focaccia, which came with a mushroom butter that was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin soup was incredible, and the Angus ox cheeks we had as a starter were outstanding. For the mains, the aubergine was a flavor explosion! However, the onglet steak had a slight odor that I found off-putting—though it might just be because I’m quite sensitive to it. Other than that, everything was perfect. The service was excellent, and the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. They are doing an amazing job on this small boat—truly impressive!

We dined tonight for the new menu all I can say is my taste buds are summersaulting! The flavours and combinations are amazing and definitely worth a try. I would recommend going for a collab of small plates and a main to top it off with a vermouth to finish! Thanks team Barge East!

Sultan Sofrasi
72 Parnell Rd, Bow, London E3 2RU, UK | Turkish Restaurant P: 020 8983 9784
Rating: 4.3 (987) Price Level:
Very quick service and big servings. We ordered one doner platter and a salad for two and, with complimentary bread on top of it, it was more than enough.
Rating: 4 / 5
Very nice restaurant and have always had a positive experience. EDIT: went here in 2020 after lockdown eased and yes it was busy but i was waiting outside with 4 others including 1 person waiting inside and no one bothered to acknowledge us or make any effort of an update. was truly disgusting so we went elsewhere. haven't been back since which is a shame as i used to go often. EDIT: Thought I'd give them another go in 2023 and thankfully the experience was much better this time round as usual.
Rating: 5 / 5
For my first visit, a group of 10 ordered two family special platters and we shared 1 amongst 5 us and it proved enough as we got chips and other sides with it too. The manager actually recommended the size even though it says 3-4 people on the menu, which was nice of him to not try to sell more. Everything was tasty and felt fresh. The bread had a bit more flavour or powder to it which isn’t found everywhere. The grilled chicken wings was really good too as was the other meat and kebabs. The Lahmacun had enough meat. I personally preferred the whiter rice to the orange one but both go well together with the doner. Top service and food came on time too. We ordered again for collection not long after trying it out for the first time!

Honestly speaking….the BEST Turkish restaurant in London! The bread is soft & seasoned really well, it become addictive! 🤤 Lamb chops ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ribs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shawarma ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sultan Sofrasi is known for its authentic Turkish cuisine, offering a variety of flavorful dishes like kebabs, mezes, and mixed grill. The restaurant typically provides a cozy atmosphere with friendly service, making it a great place to experience traditional Turkish flavors. Highly recommend. .

Rating: 4.4 (1128) Price Level:
The atmosphere and design of the place are fantastic! Our food took a little while to arrive, but we weren't in a rush. It was clear that the food was delivered with love. A big thank you to Juliet and the team for being so accommodating! We appreciated it!

Had a fab office Xmas do at The Coborn. The food was very tasty, with lots of menu choices (including vegetarian), the staff were super friendly - it has that wonderful neighbourhood vibe about it. We used The Snug, which was beautifully decorated and gave us easy access to their well stocked bar (and they make a great margarita!).

Better than most pub menu’s. Very well cooked food. cooked to a high standard. some of the best pub food I have had in a long time. Great scotch egg perfectly cooked Good fish and chips. Good wine list. Great service. Value for money I will go again.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for a brilliant meal we had a couple of weeks ago. We were a group of four friends having an early Christmas roast dinner. It was the best service I have had all year. We were served by three different ladies who were just so brilliant, warm and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble - including dog treats for the spaniel! We all said afterwards it was the best service we’d had in a long time. Including, in comparison, to some very “fancy” places. The food was superb. Perfect proper pub food! The whole package was spot on and there was nothing any of us could fault. In fact, I think it outshines a lot of other pubs in London that pride themselves on being really upmarket (aka overpriced!). The staff really made the whole experience. Young’s are very lucky to have them.

It was an anniversary dinner for me and my partner, and we had a lovely time! The food was excellent and quick, the staff were lovely and friendly (even added a couple candles to our puddings after we mentioned our anniversary). When booking the table, we asked for a quiet table and spot, and that was exactly what we got. We asked for a couple of cocktails that they didn't quite have the ingredients for, so they made some ad-hoc for us with what they had and thought was best, which made for a great couple of drinks!

We visited with family after our wedding and enjoyed a delicious lunch in the garden. It’s a great little sun trap, with cover if it rains too. Dietary requirements were no problem to cater to and everyone was very happy with their food and the service we received. Thank you so much!
Rating: 5 / 5
We love the Victoria, and come a lot - particularly the shrimp burger in the gorgeous outdoor beer garden in the summer! We came to the Victoria for our pre wedding drinks - the food was amazing, the staff were fabulous and it’s such a gorgeous venue!
Rating: 5 / 5
Thought it was just a pub, and indeed it presents like a pub from the street (though to the more astute punters the sign beside the door with the word "Octopus" on it might have been a clue). Turns out that it's East London's seafood hotspot. A welcome discovery since we were quite hungry. It's friendly and bright inside and they pull a good pint and the glasses of wine are always large. The food was fabulous - with a special shout out for whatever sauce they doused the scallops in cause that was phenomenal. 10/10 for the ceviche too. Maybe we'll move to the neighborhood I dunno.

Fantastic dining experience! I came here for lunch with my whole family and we absolutely loved it. This restaurant is so beautiful! The food was delicious but what really stood out to me was the service. Our waiter Danny was exceptional, so attentive and friendly. He even showed us the gorgeous showroom upstairs, which I would love to book at some point! Thank you so much to the whole team :) I highly recommend The Victoria.
