The electrician was fantastic to work with. They were able to come out the same day I called and fix my fan. As experts in their field, they took pride in doing a good job. They went above and beyond by instructing me on the future care of my fan. They did an excellent job, and I would suggest them to anybody needing electrical work done.

What a beautiful cafe, I am so glad I came across this place. I attended this cafe when attending a powerful panel discussion event, and was accompanied by the lovely owners and staff, and amazing pastry and food. The flavours did not disappoint and the range of drinks available was amazing. The decor is also gorgeous.

Me and my cousin visited today and we LOVED IT. The place feels so warm and welcoming making me want to visit again. It’s literally the best place to study and get work done. There’s also a prayer room which is so convenient especially if studying for a long period of time. Additionally, all the workers were so friendly and smiling which was so nice to see. And to top it all off, their profits literally go to charity! I can’t wait to visit this place again because the food was delicious and the vibe was so welcoming!

Been trying to come here for sometime..but parking is difficult. And spaces that are allocated are always taken up :( Clean, quiet atmosphere. It was too quiet, wouldn't recommend kids here. You end up getting stares. We had to walk over to the counter to get a menu and get seated. Coffee was ok and snacks wasn't too bad.

The loveliest first visit (of many)! Not only is it supporting an amazing cause, but the food and drinks are delicious and great value. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is so cute and cosy. There is great attention to detail and I love the little touches of a meditation/prayer/relaxation space and items you can buy for charity. Thank you to everyone at Root25, you brightened up a rainy Saturday!

An unpretentious hidden gem in east London 💎 🍵 drink: I opted for the chai latte which tasted nice and was well presented, but could’ve been a little stronger 🥪food: I opted for the tuna toastie which for £6.50 was a great deal! I forgot to take a photo but it was delicious!! ✨service+ambiance: the friendliest most patient staff! Service with a smile can be hard to find in London sometimes- so this was super appreciated! There’s wifi and tables to sit, and when I went it wasn’t too busy. They had nice relaxing music at a good volume

The chicken sandwich was amazing and full of flavour, something definitely different and unique in a brioche loaf. Very filling. With the constant flow of customers coming in and ordering that I knew straight away it was the most popular item on the menu. Did not disappoint. Barista style Latte was also fresh and full of flavour. Will definitely be heading back soon.

As a local, this is now my go-to cafe. It's definitely the best around compared to alternatives. The coffee is great, they have a good machine and they take good care when making it, it's delicious. I had the pistachio French toast. It's really fresh, light, and tasty. The cafe itself has such a relaxing vibe and has a great interior. The staff are super friendly to everyone who comes in. Can't recommend enough.

Certified Electricians London Ltd

Number 5, 72 Ferry St, London E14 3FA, UK | Electrician
P: 07951 966439

Rating: 5 (190) Price Level:

The first visit was from David and he got part of the lighting working for us within two hours; however, due to time constraints a return visit was planned for 8am the following day. The second visit was by Marlowe and he spent 4 hours fault finding and rectifying the issues. Marlowe was very thorough and got the lighting working properly for the first time since we moved in 7 years ago. This is the second time we have used this company and I will definitely use them again. The service is prompt, they are always on time and they just do the job in the most efficient and cost effective way.

I was very happy with Certified Electricians London. This is the second time I used their services. David was very friendly and fast to reply to my email to replace a ceiling light. The booking was arranged promptly and the work done on time by Luke. The process was very efficient. I recommend them for electrical work and I will use them again in the future.

I have called on Certified Electricians London Ltd three times now and I couldn't be more impressed with the service! From the moment I contacted them, the communication was prompt, professional, and clear. After sending photos or short videos via text message or WhatsApp to help diagnose my issues, they scheduled an appointment quickly and arrived on time on each occasion. I saw their van on my way to work one morning and took a photo of their contact details painted on the side. What fortunate serendipity that has proved to be! Marlowe, my electrician on all three occasions, was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and efficient, quickly diagnosing and resolving the electrical issue I had on the first two occasions. He took the time to explain what was happening and offered helpful advice on how to prevent future problems. On the third occasion he fitted outdoor sockets and fitted a new ceiling light. All the work was completed to a high standard, and he made sure everything was in perfect working order before leaving. On top of the technical skills, I really appreciated how friendly, respectful, and tidy he was throughout the process. It's not every day that you encounter such great customer service alongside top-notch workmanship. I highly recommend David’s team at Certified Electricians London Ltd for any electrical needs and will definitely be calling them for future projects.

Rating: 4.8 (361) Price Level:

Had an amazing dinner with work colleagues while on a business trip. The tasting menu was had by all and the group had a mix of normal wine pairings, the premium wine pairings and the mixed alcoholic and non-alcoholic pairings. Service was impeccable as was the food. The evening was a journey into the heart and mind of Chef Cagali! Each course had a story to go with it that added to the experience. The group enjoyed the dinner so much that one of us came back during their honeymoon trip. I will look for reservations when business brings me back to London for sure. Thank you to the Chef and staff for an unforgettable evening

Da Terra A New Bar , a New Kitchen and New dishes on the menu all made for another amazing dining experience at Da Terra. We were given a warm welcome on arrival before being escorted into to the bar which is now where your lunch / dinner will begin. Here you can relax with a cocktail or glass of champagne while you enjoy some delicious Snacks and a chat with the team. Then you’ll be taken across into the refurbished dining room and see the new kitchen. We took our seats at our customary Table 10 and waited for the festivities to begin. First it was a chat with top sommelier Maria to discuss our wine preference. Now it was time for the New first course and stunning it was to. The Hamachi Pumpkin / Jackfruit/ Tucupi was absolutely delicious. This was followed by the The Quail , Tortellini in Brodo / Black Truffle , Sourdough , The Moqueca before the arrival of the amazing New main course. The British Wagyu Beef , Cep / Cavolo Nero / Lobster Rice personally I thought it was the stand out dish of the day. Next to come was the Romeo and Juliette (cheese course) , the Baba before finishing with the New dessert of Fig , Sheep Yogurt / Sagu / Oxalis. We finished with coffee and petit fours to bring to and end a fabulous afternoon. The food was stunning , the wine pairings were amazing and the service was first class. The New Bar is a great addition and a wonderful place to enjoy an aperitif or digestive. The New kitchen looks fabulous and you now get an excellent view of the whole team at work. Rafael , Charlie and the team have continually been pushing forward every year in the pursuit of absolute perfection and personally something which I think is not far away. Many Thanks to the whole team for an incredible dining experience and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

This restaurant deserves a Michelin 2-star rating. Every course was presented delicately. The flavors were deep and harmonized well, with a thoughtful use of diverse ingredients that complemented each other perfectly. However, one downside is its location, which is far from central London, and public transportation is not nearby. Despite this, I highly recommend the restaurant to people from all over the world and look forward to returning.

Dishoom Shoreditch

7 Boundary St, London E2 7JE, UK | Indian Restaurant
P: 020 7420 9324

Rating: 4.8 (32089) Price Level:

I have had a problem with Indian food in the recent years. I was missing a reference point, great food wholeheartedly enjoyed. Worth remembering for the future to compare this to other places. Finally I found that place and it was Dishoom  Shoreditch. Amazing food, full of flavors and surprises, food where you think that you order too much of and then it turns out that it is so good that you have to finish it no matter what. Be prepared for a long wait for a table, but it is worth doing it. The wait time is sweetened - you wait at a bar serving very good  drinks. Once you are seated the food arrives quickly and is amazingly good. So for now I got my reference point for Indian food. Thanks Dashoom.

I visited Dishoom with friends for a brunch for a friend's birthday. The food and service was excellent. All the staff were friendly, wished my friend Happy Birthday throughout our stay, and were extremely courteous. We all enjoyed the meal and the birthday treat we shared on Dishoom. Half eaten before, we even recommended taking a photo. 😋 I would highly recommend Dishoom Shoreditch to others. Thank you!!

We just bought a property with a really old fuse box which needed replacing. Allister did the replacement with a very professional manner. He was friendly, communicated very clearly and came across as very knowledgeable :) He did a very thorough test throughout the flat after the replacement. He also took the time to explain the fuse box and what each fuse does and how to maintain it. On top of that he also helped us troubleshoot some other electrical kinks in the property which really helped in putting our minds at ease on the safety of a few electrical items. All in all a great experience!

After my previous go-to electrician left London, I’m really happy to have discovered Dion and his colleague Conni. Dion is easy to get in touch with (you can start a WhatsApp chat via the website), and they are both friendly, patient, and reliable. Dion undertook an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) on a property I was in the process of purchasing. The fee for this was competitive and Dion was happy to offer a follow up call to go through the contents of the report, so I could ask questions and clarify any issues or actions required. I’ve since had Dion and Conni back to remove/replace some pendant lights and replace a defective power socket. They were in and out like ninjas - efficient and tidy! All in all I’m very happy with the service provided and I won’t hesitate to engage them again in future!

Satisfied customer. Lounge refurb. Lights, switches, sockets. Wiring, chasing in. Walls already very bad so patresses were sometimes less than completely horizontal. Morrocan sourced pendants needed reworking. Abdul did it all. Came back at short notice to fix one pendant and eventually sourced to a faulty bulb. Reasonably priced and went the extra.

Mexican Seoul

Bow Wharf, 221 Grove Rd., London E3 5SN, UK | Restaurant
P: Not available

Rating: 4.9 (529) Price Level:

Stunning dinner at Mexican Seoul! We started our meal with delicious classic margaritas, we went on to have the corn ribs (also delicious, the pecorino cheese is really fabulous), then the bulgogi tacos (a combination that works really well!) and finally the soy garlic wings, honestly these wings are to die for, they are crunchy, sweet and salty, and the crunchy skin really resembles pork cracklings! These wings were absolutely our favourite and we are so glad to see them on the regular menu (they used to be on the monthly special a while ago!). We finished our dinner with the peach pie and pomegranate ice cream, also delicious! Lastly the staff are super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back soon!

Loooveeedddd it!!! I finally made it! We live in North London and kept thinking that we needed to try this award winning wings. So today was the day! We sat in the outside area with my kids and my friend, we ordered the corn, the two award winning wings the spicy pork and the beef tacos All the food was amazing! I cannot even tell you how happy I am for being able to go there! To see this business thrive! The whole place is beautiful and the servers were very kind and helpful with us! Loved it!

Fantastic in every way. Patrick and his team will look after you with attentive service with a smile, nothing too much trouble. The food is so tasty and can't fault it. The wings are a winner for me, and I don't think you will find better. Try the Honey Buffanero or the Gochij-Gang, meat so tasty and succulent and coating with a crunch. I had the special today the fish taco and was light tasty and spot on. I've been here many times now before writing this review, and it's always consistent. Book a table it gets very busy.

Wings are definitely the winners here! We tried the buffalo and gochujang variants. Tacos - less so (beef taco was both dry with the meat and watery with the sauce; pork was fairly unremarkable). Stick to the wings which are crispy on the outside, quite juicy on the inside and sauces are flavourful enough.

An absolutely stunning find 😋😍 Down in East London to catch up with my son we stumbled on this place and will 100% be back. The best wings and tacos I’ve ever had (genuinely 🤩) but the icing on the cake was the cocktails which so complemented the food … the Picante (with a twist !) was perfection. Super super friendly service and ambiance too. Chapeau to all involved 🎉
