Last year we had our Civil Partnership at Rowley Barn in July, and what a day! It was utterly perfect. The venue was so beautiful and we had so made the right call. Stephen and Laura were great leading up to the day and made everything really clear. We knew we wanted a dry-hire place as there were lots of extra things we wanted and didn't want to be tied to certain things that you would at a 'normal wedding venue'. The ceremony in the barn was absolutely gorgeous, it felt like being in a little indie film. It was already so pretty with fairy lights so didn't have to do much with the decor to make it work. We organised a marquee for the outside which worked perfectly, I would recommend doing this. We had our dinner etc out in the marquee while the main barn was being set up for the evening and DJ. We also had an oom pah band outside later in the afternoon to warm up for the evening. The barn was perfect for dancing and was so much fun. There are definitely lots of extra costs that you don't think of, and I know some of the reviews made us worried - but honestly as long as you read the contract and follow that you will be fine. (E.g. slight pain about not allowing cars overnight, but our guests made it work / having to get a waste removal van that evening and not being allowed to store in our own van and take in the morning). But honestly those are just minor things you have to work around and is just the nature of it being a dry hire venue. The venue itself was so perfect for us so we didn't mind in the end. Our guests loved it and we all had the best day ever. It was the perfect location and completely stunning. Thank you for helping us with our big day 😊. Laura and Dan x

Beautiful venue with fantastic ambience and endless usage opportunities. We attended a wedding reception here and it was fantastic, the venue was very elegantly decked out with fairy lights adorning the barns beams. A great space with outdoor areas available that is only a 10 minute drive away from Elstree/Borehamwood. There are plenty of hotel options nearby

Great venue with amazing owners! I helped put together an event here with Igloo Disco and couldn't have been happier with how both myself and our equipment were maintained during the event. Would be a pleasure to work at Rowley Barn again in the future!

I was the photographer for a wedding held at Rowley Barn recently. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a special place to make your own. The barn is beautiful and set in some lovely gardens, and there is great scope to design your day as you want to. I hope to be back there again soon for another wedding!
