It’s hard to know what to add to what has already been written in previous reviews, other than to reiterate how great this venue is. Having been a local resident for over ten years, we were both surprised and delighted to learn of this hidden gem just a stone’s throw away. The venue itself is lush, green and natural with simple, defined pathways and discretely added ‘comfort’ features (toilets, bar etc.). The staff are incredibly friendly, flexible and helpful - nothing is too much to ask. They helped in every aspect of our special day and remained jolly and efficient throughout the afternoon and long into the evening. We were fortunate enough to have glorious weather which only added to the already astonishing setting. Our guests constantly described it as “the best wedding I’ve attended” and our only regret is that (hopefully) we only get to do it once! We would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a unique and different wedding experience – you will not be sorry.

A beautiful wedding venue. The view over the lake in the evening was stunning and the relaxed tipi set up made guests feel so comfortable and welcome. Loved all the personal touches with the garden games and table settings.

Amazing venue and hosts!!! From our first meeting with Ben and Georgie it just felt so right. We quickly knew that they would be able to bring our vision of the perfect wedding day to life and they absolutely nailed it. The team, including Sam and Leigh, were so accommodating and flexible, allowing our extensive input, ideas and hands on creativity, without any issue. Always super responsive to communication, happy to allow a number of site visits in preparation of the big day, and showed such commitment and energy to ensure our celebration was perfect in every way. We've had so many amazing comments from our guests, with many saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended. The Cress Lake team worked tirelessly to ensure that we had an amazing day from start to finish. Stunning setting, with a natural and organic feel that captured our vision perfectly. We can't recommend Cress Lake highly enough, as they absolutely delivered on all our hopes and vision of the big day.

The Cress Lake team are young, enthusiastic and caring. As a Wedding Supplier I have been delighted to work with them at their beautiful venue on the outskirts of Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire. The venue has a beautiful lakeside spot for ceremonies, but there are also endless possibilities for photos, including an over lake swing and a rowing boat. The setting for the reception TiPi is stunning, particularly when lit for an evening celebration.
