Had a length of leaky guttering repaired. James was efficient, polite and did a great job. Gutter works great now.

After being let down by a previous roofer, we contacted James, who came when he said he would to look at what was needed, gave a very reasonable price for the work and booked us in very quickly. He ordered all the materials needed to complete the job, came on time and worked very hard in the rain, work is to very high standard, we are absolutely delighted and can't thank you enough. Superb service from an excellent roofer. Turned up on time, quickly to assess damage done by a tree to our roof. Back within the hour with replacement tiles fixing three separate holes in the roof. Very neat job and very reasonable cost. Would recommend them to anyone and will use again if we ever have another problem with the roof.

I could not have asked for a better service; after all the rain with my roof leaking; they came as soon as possible and sorted all the major problems out, plus made sure there was no water getting in before leaving.; not just done & leave like most. Photos were taken to show me all items of work carried out; so kind, helpful & pleasent. All items taken away as well. They have explained to me that as my house was built in the 70's & no major work has ever been required that next year it would be in my best interest to have the front of my roof checked over of which I will get them to do as I will always go back here first. I had been having problems with overflow from some of my gutters which had deteriorated over time. The gutters were replaced and an additional downpipe installed. The job was professionally done and the replacement gutters matched the older guttering around the rest of the house. Ian showed a good work ethic throughout.

I have just had Dalton Roofing re-point my chimney stack including replacing 4 broken roof tiles. They did a neat job of repointing etc to a very high standard, cleaned my gutters afterwards and swept my path and back yard. The roofers were very professional and decent lads who respected my property. As agreed by Dalton Roofing and myself, they roofers took before and after close up photos of the chimney stack. The admin team always kept me updated by email. I know this day and age finding a trustworthy roofer can be very difficult at times which is why I fell lucky finding Dalton Roofing. Prior to finding Dalton Roofing I had been messed about by a few roofing companies who were a bunch of greedy time wasters. Dalton are reasonably priced and work to a very high standard. I am very happy and feel rest assured that my chimney stack is structurally safe. Thank you Dalton Roofing.

Excellent customer service from Dalton Roofing, especially Ruby, who took my enquiry, and Phil, who came out. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with another company. I paid them £100 for a roof inspection, and they quoted me hundreds of pounds for repairs that they deemed necessary, to put the roof in good order. The quote was rather vague, and I felt that it was leading to them finding more problems, and therefore charging me much more, if I agreed to them completing the work. I contacted Dalton Roofing, and explained my problem. My insurance company were insisting on a report, and work done, if it was deemed necessary, or my insurance would be invalid. This had to be by a reputable company who are part of a confederation. Thankfully my neighbour suggested contacting Dalton Roofing, which I did. Ruby was helpful on the phone, and arranged for Phil to visit the house today. He was very helpful, professional, and friendly. His inspection resulted in me being told that the roof is in good order, with no faults or problems, and will last for many years. Phil has restored my faith in decent, honest, and reliable companies, who are keen to maintain an excellent reputation. I will use Dalton Roofing if I need any work carried out in the future, and will be happy to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Phil, I can sleep a lot better tonight.

Very impressed with Dalton Roofing. We had a number of leaks on an old roof and two other companies had tried to fix them without success. We contacted Dalton who came out very quickly to assess the issues. Phil explained the problems and gave me options to consider. He sent me a detailed quote on the same day which I accepted and the work was completed exactly on schedule. During the job, I spoke to Jake who was doing the work. He was great; he answered all my questions, explained what he had done in detail and gave me real confidence that he had understood and fixed the problems. Communication from Ruby at their office was also great. Overall, Dalton have been excellent and I'd recommend them without reservation.

Sean along with his team of Johnnie & Charlie, have just installed a new roof on our property, from the initial contact, the measuring up, the choice of tiles (non of which the other Roofing companies offered) to the actual installation and all the additional work I asked them to carry out as they went along, they were nothing but professional all the way through. Mat has just fitted us with 14 beautiful new solid oak internal doors. His work is to such a high standard, even with some very difficult door frames he ensured each and every door is perfect. His work was efficient yet thorough, clean and tidy, and he saw the job through from start to finish - no hidden costs or leftover jobs for us to do. The team have done an excellent job fixing our roof - they went above and beyond to repair the valley guttering / flashing on our roof - showing us drone footage throughout so we could see what they were doing. Heartily recommend Slater & Myles - we needed a full re-roof due to the age and condition of our 60s house and the whole experience was top rate. Quoted well from the off, with a full written quote rather than a spitball verbal figure, turned up on time and worked like troopers, finished when they said they would and did a fantastic job - it looks brilliant with some really elegant choices they made. The roof was in worse condition underneath than expected but they just cracked on, it needed two new beams but they just charged for material and not the extra labour. Very reasonable costs as well, which meant we elected to have the fascias etc redone at the same time within our budget. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Contacted Slater and Myles for a quote to repair a leaking roof. John gave me several options identifying the that issues he'd found and solutions at different price points, breaking down the work involved with each. More than one problem was found so we opted for a full re-roof and couldn't be happier with the completed work. The team worked hard through the snow, were always on time, we were kept updated on issues that they found and they were very professional throughout the work. I'd happily use Slater and Myles again for future projects.
