My daughter loves the sessions at the Watford centre! The best decision we made to take her there. She has improved so much in her phonics, maths and English. Her confidence has just increased which is seen even at her school and at home. She now loves to read her books with confidence.The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We really like how the sessions relate so closely to the curriculum. We recommend the centre and the sessions highly.

We made the best decision to send our child to this centre. With anxiety issues my child was facing at school, attending this centre has made my child very confident. He is not the same anymore. He struggled with Maths at school and hated going to school to avoid maths. Since he has received the extra support from tuition, Maths is now his favourite subject and he is going amazing! His school reports are also outstanding. I highly recommend this centre for tuition. It has amazed me and the staff members are extremely supportive and welcoming. They are great at building relationships with children and that really helps with confidence. Well done everyone at this centre!

Kas and Akshay from Knowledge Above Standard are very professional in their role and regularly provide updates on the learning progress. Both our son and daughter always look forward to their weekly learning sessions. We have seen results in just over 4 months, these sessions have immensely helped both our 9 year old and 12 year old giving them the extra boost and confidence where both are achieving beyond their year standard academically in Maths and English.

KAS provides excellent tuition. My two older daughters (now 22&20, Economics degree graduates) have had tutoring provided by KAS. I had no doubt in my mind where to send my now 10 year old daughter when we decided to start tuition to help with preparation for SATs and high school homework demands. She has grown in knowledge and confidence in both Maths and English and evidently moved up in ability groups and performs with high scores in every school assessment.

Very happy with my child's progress since attending Knowledge Above Standard (KAS). Would recommend KAS to those who require extra support and tutoring in English and Maths. Both Kas and Akshay are knowledgeable, patient and approachable and these attributes have helped my child become confident, especially in SATs preparation as well as preparing for the demanding workload during my child's upcoming years in high school.

Joel was initially very quick to respond and listen to the requirements for my daughter. He put in place Emma to to assist and she helped my daughter lift her grade from an E at the mocks to a B in the real A Level. This was more than enough to help her achieve the required UCAS points for her first choice university, so would definitely recommend.

Joel and his team were so supportive for my son in the run up to his GCSEs and really helped him to structure his revision and approach to each individual subject. Well worth it and highly recommended.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joel and his team. Our daughter Emily has missed a lot of school due to ill health, and we were increasingly concerned about her forthcoming GCSEs - as was she. Joel cares deeply about the students who study with him, and I've found him to honest, passionate and with exceptionally high integrity. I had to persuade him to take Emily on as she is neurodivergent and we needed a tutor who was prepared to work with cameras off. Joel listened, found the right people in his team for my daughter, and over the past few months Emily has been working with a wonderful team of tutors who have really helped build both her confidence and her skills. They fully deserve their five star ratings. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We had previously booked subject specific tutors for our daughter, but when she told me she didn’t know how to take notes or how to properly revise I knew we needed something extra as the school just wasn’t teaching this stuff. We have been so happy with the sessions Eve had with Shania they really seemed to get on well which meant Eve felt comfortable asking questions and setting the pace. Eve has just completed her first GCSE and went into and out of the exam feeling very confident as she had the tools to ensure she knew what she needed to do to revise and get a good result. I'd like to just say how happy I am with my experience so far with Explore Learning, Borehamwood branch. The staff are always friendly and on hand to help, they always respond promptly and go the extra mile to accommodate special requests such as special needs arrangements. My 14 yr old homeschooled son has serious issues around social interaction, and although he was reluctant to even sign up, he has easily adjusted to the simple online system and enjoys interacting with his personal tutor Freya. Freya is patient, funny and smart and is easy to get along with which makes classes enjoyable. There is a cool reward system where students can earn points for clothes for an avatar and the system is so straightforward with regards to tracking your child's progress - My son is honestly making progress at every lesson and learning new skills and what's great is that he is prompted on screen every time a new skill is mastered so he gets to see his progress in real time. My daughter started here 8 months ago now. She's in year 4 but was behind so much in English and a little in Maths. I'm pleased to say she is now excelling in Maths and getting so much better at her reading, writing and comprehension. She's much more confident in class and is engaging more. You can also track where your child is on their portal which gives you transparency in their learning. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service from the start. Organisation of the tutor and slot was easy and quick and Lucia has worked wonders with my 7 year old that was quite behind in many areas. Her rapport with my child is brilliant and it's never a 'chore' to have a session. There is laughter and fun every time which makes learning more exciting.
