We all had an excellent day and are hopefully playing our Seniors competition here next year 🤞. Everything was spot on from our bacon sandwich and tea and coffee on arrival. The condition of all the course, tees, fairways and greens. The friendly service from the staff. The foid afterwards was excellent The thing we struggle with most was getting to grips with the difficulties of the greens 😫. They were in excellent condition but very challenging 😅. Lovely day thank you 😊

Such a great day out as always. Only played 9 holes all par 4 and 3. The course is such a lovely course with inviting and forgiving fairways. The greens are harder during dryer weather but still slightly challenging in the wet conditions. Pricing is fair too. The staff here are soo friendly and very helpful. And the golf shop here is reasonably priced.

Lovely golf course some tricky holes, kept in immaculate condition looks really nice, The greens have plenty of slope and are smooth and fast. As slick as you'll find at 3 times the price.

I played here today with a view to joining for me and my lad. I was told before hand that the greens had been ninja tined by the lady in the shop I already knew, but it’s lovely that they cared to inform me. There was young member looked to be playing on his own so I asked if he fancied a game and politely joined me which was great, he guided me around and told me about the club. Overall very friendly welcome, practice area and range looked great. Course was in super condition, I’m super picky and I couldn’t find anything to complain about, greens are receptive but not soft or spongy, around the greens was as you’d expect, revetted bunkers were hard but looked absolutely mint with the turf layering. Tee boxes were all flat and tidy with tee bins and divot mix. The course was quiet although there were people playing I didn’t see much of anyone, we played a good pace around 4hrs no one chasing us down and no one playing slow infront. And the weather was superb. I would highly recommend also I received a very good price with a county card.

As a recently taking up golf, i have really enjoyied using the Manors facilities. A trip After work to the driving range or taking my son on a weekend, has really caught his interest too. Would recommend and will continue to use them

Nice course and facilities. Only problem is the amount of kids on the driving range. You can be sat around for half an hour waiting for a bay while they mess about due to the sheer number of them. One of them nearly hit another person waiting due to their poor skill level and general lack of care as the ball ricocheted off the side wall, up and then back to the seating area. The numbers of kids needs controlling. Other than that, it's a well kept course with reasonable membership prices. Guest prices are a little on the high side.

Had our wedding here on the 27/04/24 and we had the most incredible day! All of the events coordinators could not have been more helpful with all of our crazy questions! The venue is gorgeous as are the grounds, which made for amazing photos by the lake! The venue was set up just how we imagined, if not better! The Manor worked amazingly with our vendors and everything went smoothly! Have to say a massive thank you to all of the event coordinators! Would 100% recommend for any wedding/event!

Came with my society and really enjoyed it. Course played really well considering the amount of rain we have had. Greens were true and quick! Only negative is there was no catering at the time. Well worth a visit though. Will be bringing the society back in future.

This driving range is very well set up, reasonably priced and very well worth the visit. The pro's split their time at the range, latterly I have been when Andrew was on duty and he is always very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this range to anyone.

Great clean well looked after golf range, friendly relaxing place to practice, £5 per basket 110 balls or 3 for £13.50 for you or to share with a friend. Also lessons on offer & golf course next door. Played the course today Saturday 8/6/24 in great shape at the moment, great course, great greens & we got on for £20 through the golf now app.

Fantastic layout in great condition. There are lots of interesting holes that provide a good challenge for all levels of golfers. The greens were best the best we have played this year and we have been to some prestigious courses. It is also set within the grounds of a nature reserve with great views on many holes. Great practice facilities to warm up including a covered driving range and the halfway house was open on Wednesday when we played. Great value at £40 for a top quality round of golf.

This is a fantastic course that is available at a great place for it's quality. I genuinely think it's offering the sort of golf course for a normal price that others around Yorkshire are charging double. It's a great course layout, really enjoyable challenge and nicely set around the lake. It's got a great driving range to warm up on too.

My wife likes this place. Not a majorly busy place which is great. They allow me to spectate and take pics whilst she is emptying the basket of balls. 3 choices, small basket, medium and large. Different size tees for under the mats. Staff here are always friendly and polite. Very helpful and you can also hire a club if you don't have one. Cash only which is seriously the only downside but not worth taking a star away. Definitely deserving of 5 stars from what we have experienced.

Good value driving range with well kept bays and mats. Target area is bit muddy and to one side which is probably due to the weather.

Really good place to practice your golf. Staff are really friendly and helpful it's incredibly clean and affordable. enjoy coming on a regular basis especially when it's raining and you can't get on the course.

My first ever visit to this place in all the time I have lived in brighouse & my it didn’t disappoint the room that we were having are meal in plus entertainment was very open with stunning views of Yorkshire s finest greenery . We arrived a bit early but had a loverly chap called Richard have a chat to myself plus my parents explaining the history of the golf club which was a brilliant insight to the evening before we sat down to have are 3 course meal . The food to my taste was amazing it was just cooked right from starters to desert the staff were very warm n helpful to every in the room it s a very unique experience to have a golf club in the centre of a town or just not far from the main area but this place from the large car park great facilities plus very interesting history I would highly recommend plus I am not a golf fan but we also got a cracking view of the fair way with the green just yards away which was just so beautiful . I hope to call back next year or before thank you for the club’s professionalism plus high standards

Just had family gathering Christmas 🎄 dinner at this little gem of a place food was perfect 👌 if u wont nice sunday meal highly recommended especially the dessert apple crumble and custard 🍮

Not played the course yet but looking forward to playing it but the staff are excellent I go to the driving range to practice but staff are so kind and driving range is like brand new

Great 9 hole gem that’s in good condition, greens are great but slow. Good customer service and decent prices all round! My mum and sister were able to walk scenic public footpaths in and around the course while we played golf.

Decent course, testing walk. Course is in pretty good condition. Not particularly challenging for medium/long hitters with a driver not required on any holes. Good variety of par 3s and a couple of drivable par 4s. 2nd/11th and 9th/18th are very severely uphill which will be challenging to walk for unfit/older golfers (we’re talking a good 70m elevation change in one hole. I’m fit and was out of puff by the end). Greens in decent condition, fairly paced for February. Winter tees among the best I’ve played. Can imagine the 5th/14th is a nightmare in-season/on weekends due to walkers/runners/dogs as a public right of way runs the whole length of the hole & across it. Would be a good course for beginners/shorter hitters but it’s a hard walk.

Lovely little place to enjoy a late afternoon drink on a fresh wintery day. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly which is a massive plus. Will be coming back to try the food one day as it sounds amazing. Cheap prices too. 5/5

Played on a Sunday evening, very quiet. Unfortunately didn’t play the full 18 due to losing daylight, but the 11 holes we did play were fantastic, for £20 you can’t go wrong. Course was well maintained, greens were pure, the bunkers actually had sand in them and not concrete like most courses in South Yorkshire. Will definitely be returning to play a full 18. Refreshing to see a course provide actual recycling bins and not just a metal can that’s half burnt out. Sand boxes to repair divots on par 3 tee boxes was a nice touch as well (can’t say many people have used them) but still a nice touch to have and shows the owners do care about the maintenance of the course.

WOW what a track ! First time visiting Sandhill’s and certainly won’t be my last, this is a gem of a course with a superb layout. I particularly enjoyed the challenging greens, majority had some great undulations on and were tricky to read, but I personally like that. The fairways were immaculate as were the greens. Very warm welcome in the pro shop and the food and drink in the clubhouse were also first class. TRY THIS COURSE, thank me later 😎

Called in for breakfast and a coffee whilst out walking the pooch. Always made to feel welcomed. Great b'fast . They were gearing up for a live music event later today. Lots of activity.

Great venue for last week's Christmas Fair. The staff were very helpful. They also do a Sunday carvery every couple of weeks which I am very much looking forward to.
