Probably one of the toughest challenges of golf in the area. The weather dictates how well you play. Not for the faint hearted and it helps if your fit as the hills are steep and the greens are windswept and fast. Go back to the club house for a bite to eat and drink as the staff are welcoming and the view across Therfield Heath is to die for from the terrace.

Challenging course and very hilly. I played 50% over my handicap. A couple of the par 3’s look like the holes have been forced as they are in quite steep valleys. Overall decent value but make sure you go early as the afternoons do get busy.

It's quite a walk to the 1st tee from the clubhouse. Our group drove to a nearby car park and unloaded our trolleys and clubs from there. There's hills, did I mention there's hills. A good test on your fitness and stamina. Course was in excellent condition, tees very good and greens very fast. Wind was only light on our visit, but as it is very exposed, I would expect it would be very tough on a windy day. Club house provided a good meal afterwards, sausages mash and peas with a very tasty gravy. Bar staff friendly and attentive. I would like to return and play again.

Very friendly clubhouse with reasonable priced food and drinks, the course was in good condition for November large open fairways with firm fast greens. Be aware this is a very hilly course but great fun, a couple of the Tees were quite close to the greens and some were quite a walk, 3 off us managed to get round in 4hrs 5mins. Great experience well worth a look.
