Played April 2024, after the wettest winter I can remember. Course was in great condition, greens fast and undulating, fairways neat and firm. A really interesting layout, 2 par 5's intersperse some long and short par 4's mixed with tricky par 3s with well placed hazards. Lots of short game practice options as well - I'd sign up for membership if I didn't live too far away!

Has a great time playing this course. Friendly staff, especially the young cheerful lady at the halfway house. Good value for the area. The only downside was rock hard fairways and around greens, I'm guessing no irrigation. Some of the bunkers could do with some more sand and stone removal. I'm looking forward to playing this course again soon. One to return to.

This was the first time I've played here having wanted to for some time. What an absolute gem of a course with fantastic fairways & greens. The greens are the best greens I have played on in the UK & a great challenge.The clubhouse is very friendly & facilities are good with a large outdoor terrace overlooking the 18th with lots of seating space. If you haven't played here before, I recommend you do as you will not be disappointed.

Absolute gem of a course, typical of a Harry Colt design. Don’t let the scorecard give you a false sense of security. The long holes play every inch of their yardage, and the short holes can be even trickier due to the intelligent use of slopes and undulations on and around the greens. The course is beautifully maintained, a real testament to the fantastic green keeping staff. One of the most enjoyable courses I’ve played in the UK!
