When our original booking let us down this morning for our Grandmothers funeral wake today the great staff at Wellow Golf Club could not have been more inviting and accommodating at such short notice The food was good, plentiful and hot Thank you so much 🙏

The course is excellent having played it at least six times it is always in great condition. The fairways, bunkers and greens are very good. The staff are by far the best of all of the golf clubs that I have played. The bar manager is great, and the food preparation and choice of food never ceases to amaze me. Everything about the club is exceptional well done to all that have contributed to the club’s performance. Well Done👍👍Chris

This is a very attractive rolling parkland course in great condition. I've played here many times over the years and always enjoyed it. It's a good venue for societies as they are very welcoming, and the fairways are a generous width. This year, 2024, the greens, although well kept, were a lot slower than expected, but that may be due to the number of wet days recently. There are lots of bunkers around the greens but they are exceptionally well-maintained - very impressive, but fortunately no fairway bunkers that I can recall. Good clubhouse.

One of the best golf clubs to play ⛳️ if you’ve not played there it’s a must do⛳️ for a good game of golf, the fairways are like carpets and the greens are exceptional, a lovely rolling course on the edge of Salisbury plain. The clubhouse has a very welcoming staff and nice food 🥘

Lovely little course nestled away in the country. Quiet and peaceful with gorgeous, fast playing greens with some wide fairways with challenging protected Par 3s. Highly recommend.

I recently ran a Mental Health and Small Business - One Day Conference at Test Valley Golf Club and can't truly express how impressed I was with everything from the venue, to the catering, to the level of service. From the moment I enquired, Maria and Molly made me feel welcome and wanted to ensure they could accommodate as much as was feasible to create an event just as I had envisioned. The preparation and support provided was second to none. On the day, the food was excellent, the room was perfectly arranged and no dietary requirements or additional requests were too much trouble. They were so attentive and I can not wait to book our next event with them.

Good golf course, challenging yet forgiving if you manage the course. Beware the bunkers, lol. Golf buggies available. Book tee time on line and buggy. Discounts on buggies for medical reasons.

Nice course and not outrageously expensive. Greens are pretty consistent although some of the fairways are a bit lumpy and can give some random bounces. That's my excuse anyway.

I have played here over the years and recently twice. The staff are all polite, friendly and helpful. I rely on them to pass on my compliments to the kitchen crew for excellent meals, and the greens staff for a well maintained course. Not the cheapest but certainly best value for money on a society day out.

Great course in very good condition. Very wide and open, so you spray it around a bit and get away with a few loose shots. Greens were very true and rolled well. Great clubhouse with a balcony overlooking the 18th. We'll worth a visit.

Played at RWGC this week. Weather wasn’t too good, windy and drizzly but everything else was fantastic. Superb course which uses the terrain brilliantly. Only one flat hole on the course and that’s the short par 3 17th. The greens were quick and incredibly subtle to read - getting the ball close with your first putt was challenging. We played off the whites and there are some very difficult par 4’s, especially back into the wind. The clubhouse is superb with floor to ceiling glass and a terrace overlooking the 18th. The staff were so friendly and the whole place is extremely welcoming. Looking forward to playing here again hext Summer in our captain’s away day. All in all, a fantastic experience, highly recommend.

Pro shop and club house is very good, the food was brilliant. Didn't play well but the course is in a good condition, found the greens difficult to read as trying to recover from maintenance work. Some good holes there and the wind added to the challenge. Enjoyed our day out at the club

Nice, well maintained course with friendly welcome for visitors. Drains well, so recommended for winter/Spring in particular. Some challenging holes, particularly those hitting to elevated greens, often with good bunkering too. Some of the “newer” holes further from the clubhouse were less interesting - they are well established after several decades but lacked a bit of character. Nice terrace to catch some sun and watch balls trickle off the tricky final green.

Have used Alresford GC for many years with my society. The club house has recently been refurbished and is now an excellent venue and the food options are very reasonable and the staff are very attentive. The golf course we played in April 2023 was in excellent condition and the greens were unbelievable for this time of the year. If not played it’s highly recommended.

We visited here with our Society. A very good course, well maintained and the food was also extremely good. Feedback from our Society’s members was 100% positive. We will be booking next year and many years to come

It's a downland course, close to the M3. There are a reasonable variety of holes. It's not overly tough, but some of the greens undulations can be a challenge. It's quiet a hilly course, so if you're carrying, be prepared. The clubhouse staff are welcoming friendly. The food is OK. If you're in the area it's worth a visit.

A great golf course. And a tough one too so not for the beginner. Hilly, chalky countryside means it's playable in winter/spring when many other course are not. Pro shop and bar/clubhouse are good standard. And you'll deserve a drink when you've finished a round!

I also have been visiting the Range with my family for many years. In my experience, staff will only speak to customers about young persons on the Range if they consider it being a Health and Safety issue. Which I applaud! Whether the course/range is busy or not H & S should always be consider. And of course it will get your children into good practice and respect other users of the facility. I personally do not want to be policing other people's children.. so well done MGGC

Absolutely gorgeous for a wedding venue. My daughter and new son in law recently held their wedding at Ampfield Country club. Staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly they helped make the day so special. Setting was stunning ***** star.

Great golf course quite challenging on some hole's, super condition and excellent value for par 3 18 hole course. Club house staff very friendly and welcoming as were the other golfer's at the course. Highly recommended.

Cannot speak highly enough about this place! Excellent facilities and wonderful staff - who even took the time to track me down after I left some clubs behind after a visit! The trade in is incredibly competitive and the on site cafe / bar / food is outstanding - well worth visiting!

This place is great. I went there with my 9 year old. Booked online. Unlimited balls. Clubs for the 9yo are included. The radar system means we can play a game of Angry Birds and he is motivated to hit the ball straight. There are loads of bays. There is a restaurant and a bar. Brilliant.

Great facilities and staff are very welcoming. Andy Reid was especially friendly and great help in giving a few tips and making sure I had everything I needed whilst there - will likely come back for some proper lessons - highly recommend!
