SO many reasons to get out of bed and visit this beautiful traditional bakery BUT if you go before 10am right now you'll get a free coffee! Wonderful selection of cakes and bakes and pastries and bread and super smiley friendly service from Dean and team. The eccles cakes were wonderful (Dad approved - an Eccles cake connoisseur!). Lovely. 🤩
What a delightful find in this quiet village. Lynne, the proprietor, personally served us and indulged our many questions with grace and patience. The loaf bread is brilliant— soft interior, flavorful, beautifully baked. I chose the spelt and honey, topped with rolled oats. It did not disappoint. My family opted for meat and egg sandwiches accompanied by sweet treats. They quickly gobbled up their meat and egg selections. The frangipane tart, though too sweet for my taste, has an excellent blend of flavors. A single bite satisfied. We’ll definitely return and support this lovely bakery.
Nice bakery, nice cakes but slightly over priced! Lady serving was a bit abrupt!
