Warm and Toastie in clubhouse. Freezing outside. Greens very icey.

Arrived around 4.45 on a Wednesday afternoon, parked in the overflow car park as it's next to the 9 hole course. (There's plenty of parking). Booked a 5pm tee time. Reasonable price, friendly staff - no need for membership. Nice course. My only complaint was other players hadn't repaired their pitch marks on the greens. The pro shop often has offers for club regriping, balls, lessons etc. and trolley hire available.

Lovely golf course,but I feel it's overpriced.

We had our wedding reception here on Saturday. It was outstanding. We can’t compliment the staff enough. Elli, Becky, jack and Aarron you were amazing. Everything you did was perfect. Thank you for making our day so special.

30 Jun 22, Fantastic course, definitely be playing again there, easy to book, friendly and helpful staff, Was abit of wait on some holes due to 4 ball players taking so long but that's golf! A few challenging holes, greens in great condition. The fairways not so good some holes fairways dry & sun scorched. ⛳🏌‍♂️⛳🏌‍♂️⛳🏌‍♂️⛳🏌‍♂️

Amazing. We had our wedding reception here and I'm so pleased we did. From start to finish Ellie and the team helped in every way possible. They went above and beyond to makesure our day was perfect. You also have a beautiful view for perfect photos. The food was amazing we had the buffet and then the grand BBQ. Would highly recommend

Nice friendly club, challenging 9 hole course, if you can navigate the trees you will have a good round. Would have given more stars but the greens, bunkers and tee off boxes sadly let this down. Update 12/6/2022 I can now say that having played this course recently, the fairways have improved, along with the greens. A new director recently appointed and improvements already noticeable.

Lovely challenging golf course.Well kept and honest greens.I understand it will be closing August 2025 which is a huge disappointment.If possible it is well worth a round before closure.

Nice course, plenty of trees!

Fairways lovely, green are nice and quick although most quite flat. Course generally is in very good condition. Lovey setting too. We arrived and ignored at the shop for a fair few minutes. Tip - however busy people are, please encourage them to acknowledge your existence and say you’ll be with you shortly. Nothing worse than a visitor not feeling welcome

Played in a charity day here (and have done for several years). A really good course, challenging yet forgiving (on a couple of holes atleast) the course was in great condition, the staff helped run the day efficiently and all in all it was a good day raising money for a local charity. Would recommend playing here anytime, we were lucky with the weather today, however I have played when it is wet and the course drains really well. Enjoy!

Played 19-7-24 - the hottest day of the year. Not a long course but tight and tree lined. Greens in excellent condition. Excellent clubhouse with good food.

Unfortunately the weather once again won the day , started raining on the 1st green. The sun came out near the end, this is the 5th time I have played Romsey and it rained every time. The course has some fantastic holes , because of the weather we did not see the the course at its best. The staff and members were vert friendly and welcoming. The meal was excellent. Hopefully the next time the weather might be as good as the food.

My husband and i held our wedding reception at Romsey Golf Club 3 weeks ago. It was fantastic, some of our guests even said it was the best reception they had been too! When we first contacted RGC a year in advance, we were planning this with Rach (who went on maternity and we were passed onto Kath.) Both ladies were incredibly helpful and wanted to give us the best day possible. Their communication was spot on, we never had to chase them and never did we have any concerns about anything at all. We cant thank everyone enough for all the hard work they put in to make it right. Kath sorted our table plan board, place cards, she set out all the linens, chair covers, sashes, the list just goes on! The golf club members themselves were also very lovely, we had many congratulations and compliments considering we were stepping on their toes. There was also compliment after compliment on the food, so a big thank you to the kitchen staff. Our DJ was hired through them, the catering was done by them, our drapes and up lighters were arranged by them, the LED dance floor was done by them! On top of all that... our wedding photos turned out beautiful, the venue and the grounds are just spectacular. If you need a venue for you wedding reception, you'd be missing out if you dont use them. Thank you to all the staff, who were there that night/night before and the lead up, we truly cant thank you all enough.

We got married here in November 2024! It was the most perfect day and we were glad we booked East Horton! A special thank you to Ellie, the ceremony and wedding breakfast decor looked brilliant! We loved the food choices and had so much feedback from guests about how good the food was! The grounds of the venue were stunning and very autumnal! It was all just perfect, thank you!!

I photographed a wedding at East Horton Golf Club in April and it was absolutely stunning! The day went so smoothly and as a supplier I was made to feel so welcomed and nothing was too much for the team! Shelby was absolutely amazing, full of information and was the most amazing helping hand on the day! One of the staff was even kind enough to take the couple and myself around the course in a golf buggy so that we could get the most amazing photos! The team at East Horton even brought out two courses of food to a separate area so that I could have a break and the food was INCREDIBLE!!! Such an amazing experience and I truly cannot wait to come back!

My husband & I got married here in June 2024. We couldn’t fault East Horton at all. From the planning leading up to the big day, to the day itself, everything was perfect. We’d recommend this beautiful venue to any newly engaged couples. A special thank you to Taura, who made the planning process stress free and made our day go so smoothly!

The golf courses are alright for the cost good yardage, views and the greens are ok. However the food is excellent well worth a visit, a warm and welcoming unusual clubhouse.

Really enjoyable round of golf on the Manor course. Course was in great condition, pro shop very friendly and a welcoming 19th 👍🍺🏌‍♂️. I highly recommend playing here. We will be back 🙂

A really interesting course through the new forest with great greens and fairways. Manor Course. Pro shop is well equipped with a good selection of mens and womens attire. Really friendly staff who welcomed us. We will happily return ☺️

A really lovely golf club. The Manor course is challenging but very rewarding, and the scenery is delightful. Food was very good. The Forest course sounds really interesting, too. A very friendly club.

Played 3-11-24. Course in decent condition after much rain. Winter tees (mats) on some holes. Best book early if you can at weekends as gets very busy. Pictures of 2nd and 6th holes but there isn't much more water! Front 9 much longer - and harder -than back 9 - you can just play back 9. Terrific breakfast which can even make up for playing badly!

Went to use the driving range with my son. Was pretty decent although only a few automated bays on the lower level, one of which was broken. Have a shop but there's only really balls and tees for sale. Would be a great place if it got a little update and modernization. Haven't played the course lately, to comment on that.

Reasonably priced round, course mostly dry for the time of year, one or two muddy holes. Nice Parkland setting with an interesting layout, greens are small, reasonably playable but suffering from a fair amount of animal damage and un-repaired pitch marks. Some incredibly slow 4 balls seemingly oblivious of the backups they’re causing. Skipped a hole to get past and enjoyed an uninterrupted back 9. Green keepers and Club staff work hard to provide a course for all to enjoy and yet let down by the poor etiquette of others.

Driving range good and price for balls good. The course is ok, it could do with better drainage and some TLC around the greens but a good test of golf. The cafe, clean, hot food, nice atmosphere and your made to feel welcome.

Really impressed with the bar and food and Talia was an excellent host and really looked after us. We'd go back just for her tbh. Golf course was good for this time of year.
