Thank you Wayne and team for an excellent landscaping job to the front and rear of our home. We requested installation of porcelain tiles to the front of the property and a mix of Trex composite decking, artificial lawn and porcelain tiles to the rear of the property. We were very pleased with detailed planning and the precision with which you executed the work within the agreed timescales. What we really really liked was your professionalism, punctuality and hard work throughout the period. You kept us informed throughout and always managed our expectations. Wayne and his team did a great job remodelling our garden. It involved quite a lot of groundwork, and a lot of sleeper work, which was completed to a very high standard. They also did a fantastic job of laying a paved area on the upper level, and laying artificial grass on the lower level. They also replaced several posts and panels of the fence, all to the same high standards. I would not hesitate to recommend Living Landscapes.

Wayne and his team were able to start the extension of our drive over a month before expected and completed the job ahead of schedule. All the guys were polite and worked so hard. Had the absolute pleasure of having DKA treatments to lay artificial grass in our small back garden. I got good vibes from Dean as soon as I met him. He was friendly, chatty and very knowledgeable and passionate about his job, which is demonstrated in his work. We are extremely happy with our artificial grass and are looking forward to our daughter being able to play out there in the summer. To top it all off, his quotation was also very reasonable. Dean provides bespoke, high quality service and professionalism throughout. He took time and care to get to know our individual needs and made recommendations with his expertise. It is evident that he is passionate about his work conducts it to the best standards. Despite adverse weather conditions, Dean and his team were able to improvise, make adjustments and think of creative solutions in getting the job done. We are very pleased with the quality results, the grass looks very natural and our toddler is eager to play on it. And most importantly, Dean is very authentic and sincere as a person, as well as when conducting business.

Can't speak highly enough of the whole experience with Dean and DKA. We contacted 3 companies at the start, two wanted me to send measurements and pictures via whatsapp to quote from. Dean was the only one who took the time to come out and see our garden. He took time to understand what we wanted to achieve and then worked out how to make it happen, and when we changed our mind a bit, he came out a second time to quote again. He clearly has a passion for what he does which comes out in conversations and his work. He made sure we understood the process and how he goes about the installation. Dean had a team of 3 others working with him and as a whole, DKA were punctual, hard working, professional and polite. The job came in as quoted....... no nasty surprises! The end result has been exactly what we wanted and more thanks to Dean and his team. If you're thinking artificial grass might be for you, make sure you speak to to DKA before committing to anybody else!

We're really pleased with Lee's hard work in landscaping our garden. He was very flexible and patient with us as we made a few tweaks to the design as we went along, and he used his experience to make some great recommendations along the way. The weather was very unkind and reduced the site to a bit of a swamp at times, so the project took longer than expected - but Lee's communication was great throughout so we always knew what was happening and when work was likely to resume. We're thrilled with the end result and are looking forward to enjoying the space for years to come!

I spent a lot of time having the work I wanted to carry out being priced making sure it would be completed to the vision I had in my head, I also wanted to meet who would be doing the garden as I travel for work so had to feel comfortable with the workmen being in my home with my partner and 1 year old son. Lee was not the cheapest quote we obtained but was the best not only on personability, nothing was too much and if he thought something would not look right he would try and offer an alternative which worked out amazingly. Lee replaced the sleeper wall and created a new step as we had the ramp removed to create more floor space, he suggested we add a small raised area where the back gate is located so the drop from the driveway into the garden was not so deep, we agreed and it looks great. All other changes you can clearly see from the before and after shots. Apart from the work Lee carried out, he struck up a bond with my 1 year old son over the time he spent with us and often let him sit and watch what Lee was doing, this was the icing on the cake for what in our eyes is the perfect transformation of our garden. I will wholeheartedly recommend Lee to anyone who enquires, price, manner & workmanship are 10/10 for us. You truly get what you pay for with Lee, do not hesitate to use his talents in your landscaping endeavours.

These guys are fantastic! Previously, several companies had turned up to quote & not one of them offered a price or was contactable afterwards. By chance , I was recommended to Lee, from then on nothing was a problem and all the worry was taken away from us. The price was reasonable, Lee had some really good suggestions and ask questions about what we wanted. I can't thank Lee, Harley and Sam enough for all their hard work. Working in all weather's to get the garden finished. They were polite and respectful of our home, taking off their shoes when coming in, which we greatly appreciated.

I honestly can’t recommend benchmark landscaping enough! I reached out to Lee when I recently had my garden renovation finished and I wasn’t happy with the sleeper steps. The steps weren’t even and the bottom step was steep. Lee & Harley worked hard on the steps, I am so pleased. I can’t thank them both enough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I knew that my landscaping my garden was going to be a challenge as it is not the easiest space but Lee and the team transformed my garden into a low maintenance, useful, beautiful space that myself and my family can now enjoy. Project: Suburban front garden, driveway and passage to the back garden. Property is on a gentle slope, and the garden slopes towards the house. The team at VU clearly take tremendous pride in their work and I can honestly say that we've enjoyed the experience of having them on site. Here's my impression: - understanding the brief - proposing the use of new materials - executing the work with precision - going the extra mile (in our case, some 160+ miles round trip to find and collect extra block pavers). Filip shares my aesthetic so I was happy to leave the design decisions in his capable hands. Ralph, with over 30 years of experience in the business, focuses on the important details and uses his ingenuity to solve technical problems. Clive, like others in the team, is uncompromising in his attention to detail and works with precision. On day 7, when I noticed the various levelling instruments and jumbo folding squares, I could only rejoice, as I loathe tradespeople who work 'by eye' - unless they are artists! Consequently, I was able to relax and concentrate on my own work, confident that Team VU would surpass my expectations. We've received lots of compliments from passers-by about our new front garden, with a few people remarking on the attention to detail. Our front garden is testament to VU's hard work and professionalism. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending them.

Vu designed and landscaped my garden recently which was basically just turf at the start. I am delighted with the design and outcome and love to watch my beautiful plants taking root and growing in what now looks like an established garden, after only a short time. There have been many compliments and viewings from my neighbours. requesting the contact details of Vu. I would single out Filip, who was responsible for the design and planting and who was very happy and willing to sort out any questions that arose. The team working on the garden were very polite and hard working in all weathers and I would highly recommend Vu to anyone thinking of building a new garden or making changes to an existing one.

Vu have transformed our garden. Ralph and his team have always been very helpful and willing to deal with any issues that arose as the work went along. Nothing has been too much trouble for them, and our site is not the easiest, with steps up a relatively steep slope to navigate. The standard of work has been excellent and we are delighted with the results, added to which they have been a delight to work with. We are happy to recommend them.

Whenever we are passing through the area we make a beeline for this shop. yesterday we were fortunate to stop and brought some hot scotch eggs which was a first and they were delicious. We have found the shop to be staffed by friendly people and the products sold are of very good quality at reasonable prices.

We stopped by here on Sunday about an hour before close and picked up a few things, however the stand out item was the sausage roll with caramelised onions. We made the mistake of buying just one to share. We were a bit away before we tried it and actually contemplated driving back to buy more. Excellent pastry, good sausage, good method of adding the caramelised onion. This farm shop is going on my favourites list based on this sausage roll alone. The service was also very friendly and the item selection included a good variety of local/regional products. I don't know if the sausage rolls are a regularly available item, but I would recommend going here for them alone.
