Sutherlands did a major revamp on both my front and back garden replacing existing borders with cobbles and some plants. They also did some repointing of patio slabs and removal of old wooden decking. Andy did a nice design for us initially and Tom made a very nice job of the landscaping and was happy to vary things a little on the design as it progressed and we could see what the finished article would look like. The completed job was exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately, we subsequently found that not all the original bulbs in the borders had been removed and reappeared through the barrier sheeting particularly in one of the front borders. We agreed to wait to see the extent of the issue this spring but Tom has just returned and carried out remedial work to remove all those remaining bulbs and it looks great again.

Huge thank you to Southampton homes for transforming our garden. The guys really put their stamp on it by suggesting some wicked little details and helping our vision become a reality. After ripping up rotten decking and replacing with sandstone patio, and also building a custom huge pergola to eventually create a living canopy of climbing flowers, creating shade over a second big patio at the end of the garden. This was unused, overgrown useless space before.

We hadn't heard of Sutherlands before, but they had good reviews online so we got them round to quote for some landscaping. They turned up on time, listened to what we wanted and explained what they could do given what they had to work with. Their quote was reasonable and so we booked them to do the job. A couple of days in and we noticed a couple of things that we wanted changing. We pointed this out and the next day they rectified matters without quibble. Thomas was in charge of the job and everything went smoothly. Communication was always good, requests were replied to in good time, Sutherlands were good to their word and always turned up on time. Upon completion there were a couple of small snags which were put right promptly without question. The two new patios and raised flower beds look excellent and we are very pleased with the standard of work done. I would highly recommend Sutherlands, they were easy to deal with and have done a great job.

I'm very happy to leave a review for Sutherlands, as they recently finished our new driveway and we're very happy with the results. Our old gravel drive was causing some problems inside our house, as it was contributing to damp with poor drainage, so we were worried about finding a company that would not only do a good looking drive, but would be aware of the technicalities of how it was affecting the house itself. Sutherlands understood all this straight away and made suggestions for solving those problems, as well as for doing what was going to look good too. David, the owner, was easy to deal with, with good fast communication. The guys actually doing the work were Steve and Geoff and they were superb - probably the best tradesmen we've ever had on any job. They were decent, friendly, helpful and amazing workers. The care and attention to detail they put in, and their skill at very difficult work was really impressive. Several of our neighbours have even come up to me and said how they noticed how much care and pride they seemed to have in the work they were doing. They seemed to have no problem recommending things that would make their jobs more difficult, going the extra mile for the sake of doing a good quality job. Both of them are a big asset to Sutherlands. We're extremely pleased with the end result and definitely highly recommend Steve, Geoff and Dave of Sutherlands.

Really pleased with the work they have done. It was a fairly big job and they worked hard throughout. They showed good attention to detail and asked the right questions to ensure the final result was exactly what we wanted. Good communication throughout the job. The job involved laying mixed sized porcelain slabs over a 50m2 area and the creation of some oak sleeper raised beds. An acco drain was also laid to help with drainage.

MTM transformed our garden. We love it and spend as much time in it as possible, it has extended our house into our outside space. The team at MTM were polite, considerate and extremely helpful. A great job - thank you Kamil and team!

Terrence carried out some work for our back garden which involved the installation of a new arched gate, a decking area and a bespoke pergola that he designed and built himself. We were very impressed with Terrence from the word go, on the first day of the job he arrived promptly and got on straight away. The duration of the job was five days and each day Terrence arrived and had started working before 8am. The quality of work produced was second to none, Terrence talked us through everything and thought about all possibilities before we were happy and he knew exactly how to carry everything out. Every tiny detail was thought about and discussed which we really appreciated and if we changed our minds or thought of something new throughout the duration of the job, nothing was too much trouble. Terrence's focus is to keep the customer happy and to produce top quality and stylish work. He wasn't happy with some of the materials that had been delivered to carry out the job, but instead of just carrying on with what he had been given, Terrence was immediately on the phone to get the materials swapped over. This showed the professionalism and pride that he takes in to his work. We will 100% be using Digweed Landscapes for any future gardening needs and we would like to have Terrence back later this year to fully landscape our garden, including laying down new turf, laying paving stones for the garden path and seeing to the flower beds. We wouldn't bother looking anywhere else now for our gardening needs!

Terrance and the team recently undertook a job to replace some rotten decking and old block paved areas with a new patio and sleeper raised bed. Emily designed my garden with a vision that I didn't have and gave me so many different ideas. Mark and Gary worked professionally and nothing was too much trouble. I received many quotes but will be forever grateful that I chose Hambrooks.

Following receipt of a number of quotations for the task of Bamboo Removal we selected Hambrooks, key factors in the decision were a sensible price, a good reputation, well prepared quotation and some excellent advice on how to proceed. We made the correct choice and are extremely pleased with the completed task which required the removal of some 8m of hedging, about 60% bamboo, and the adjacent lawn. The bamboo rhizomes were removed, the border bed reinstated and a new lawn laid. The overall task was very well planned and efficiently executed, causing minimal disruption and was completed to schedule. The implementation team consisted of Gareth and Alex who were a pleasure to work with and kept us informed every step of the way. The whole task was overseen by the Garden Maintenance Manager Gary who provided the initial quotation and advice, and was prompt and efficient with his communications throughout.

The second half of our project to replace all the old pathways and patio in our back garden has just been completed, and as was the case with the earlier work, the result is stunning. The whole process from initial consultation, through preparing the ground and then laying the new stone and brickwork has proceeded smoothly and was at all times highly professional. The team working in the garden knew what was required and always checked with us if there were any small items of uncertainty about exact detail. They were also very adaptable when we decided to modify a couple of design ideas half way through the work ! They also went to great lengths to ensure that any mess on our front drive associated with the work was completely cleared and hosed down at the end of each day. We would highly recommend Hambrooks, this is now the third time we have used them for garden work and we would certainly use them for any future plans.

The design team were very helpful and gave us all the the time we needed to discuss the plan and go through the detail of the planting. Dave and Jack worked veryhard and were very professional. They were organised and tidied each day. The garden looks great. The only suggestion I made to the design team was that I would have appreciated a talk through care and maintenance of our new planting.

This was a sensitive job that needed careful handling, but we did not need to worry with CJ Gardening Services. Lee and his team worked fast and very efficiently, bringing my Aunties garden back to it's best. They showed great empathy and respect, and produced a fine job. We cannot thank them enough, and would not hesitate to recommend this helpful and friendly team to anybody!

Claire and her team did a great job digging out some new borders for us. They communicated well, left the site clean and tidy. I would highly recommend.

A few weeks ago the team came in to clear my garden and cut down trees, it was raining and I don’t have a side gate so had to be taken through the house. Was really impressed with the care taken of my place, putting plastic down on the floor and creating minimal mess. Super polite and friendly and the garden has gone from looking like a jungle to a neat yard- looks great!

Mark took time out of his weekend to come take a look at our garden and give us a quote for the work needed. Instead of charging us, he took his time to give us valuable gardening tips that we could use to fix and maintain our lawn , patio and our trees. He advised what gardening equipment we needed and showed us the ones he had in his van. We offered to pay Mark consultation fees for all the advice but he refused and offered his support whenever we needed. I will definitely be recommending Mark to anyone i know.

Second time we have used Aura. This time they installed a block paving driveway, large patio and pathways and re-turfed our lawns, back and front. Another high quality job.
