We couldn’t recommend The Wild Gardeners highly enough! Alastair and the team have been amazing from day 1. They come to us every other week, maintain our garden beautifully and provide advice on planting schemes. They’re punctual and brilliant to work with. The best gardeners we’ve used!

Aylwin created a beautiful, dreamy cottage garden for us and we can’t thank him enough - it’s like a scaled-up version of a Chelsea Garden Show display. We’re so proud of it and everyone loves it. His knowledge of design (and plants, colour, and what plants would thrive) and what suits and looks high-end is outstanding. Without wishing to sound transactional it’s made such a difference to our house value too. He took everything we asked for on-board and worked with us on details when we wanted it. He also did necessary communication/ diplomacy with our neighbours! Aylwin is total design star and we’re so grateful to him for working for us.

Review of Beyond the Borders Garden Design, Alton, Hampshire. Excellent design work at a fair price. Aylwin is very approachable and knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping. Our brief had several constraints including an old concrete rainwater collection system, various different levels, and plants to conserve . Aylwin took on board our requirements and produced a design using clay pavers which managed to draw everything together and complement the garden and house.

Aylwin was very helpful in providing a consultancy service to help us re-design a small part of our garden. His creative perspective was invaluable. He very quickly understood our requirements and came up with a concept plan promptly. I would highly recommend Alwin, whether for small consultancy projects or larger garden designs. When the ongoing landscaping work is complete I'll add photos!

I've worked with Aylwin over the past 18 months. We'd not long moved into a house with a garden that was best described as a 'blank canvas'. Aylwin worked with my wife and me to develop an initial detailed layout for the garden, prepared detailed planting plans for the various areas of the garden, purchased the plants and then planted them. He's now helping me on an ad hoc basis to manage the garden, my gardening skills being sadly lacking. I can't speak highly enough of the work that Aylwin has done for us. We now have a wonderful garden that we absolutely love and find easy to maintain.

The team did a fantastic job clearing the front garden for both myself and the adjoining neighbour. His team were punctual, responsive and fast working. They left the site tidy once complete and went above/ beyond to ensure everyone on the street was happy with the changes. Highly recommend for shrub removal and maintenance.

Kelvin and his team did a great job re turfing our garden and it’s a massive improvement. They spent an hour after the work was completed tidying and cleaning the patio which was appreciated. The aftercare provided was also very helpful and well explained, would highly recommend.

We used Kelvin and his team to do a one-off grounds clean up for one of our commercial clients. They provided a swift quote and were very responsive and friendly to deal with. Great experience with Thomas, Tobias, Candice and all the hard workers at Sage. The work was done to a really high standard and Thomas really helped with the creative design. Sage have all the kit and left the site in a really clean state. Highly recommend.

Very happy with work done to transform what was a builder’s yard back into a front garden. Ground was rotavated, levelled, rolled and returfed in less than a day. A very professional job

I can not recommend Sage high enough. Our garden is a paradise because of the service they provide. The lads are friendly and they work non stop even whilst the rain is pouring down. Nothing I ask is ever too much trouble. Sage has been looking after us for 5+ years.

The Sage team have done a fantastic job of our replacement fencing. They worked very hard to overcome some very challenging ground conditions and have erected some really good quality, great looking panels with concrete posts and gravel boards. Highly recommended.

We have used Whitefoot landscapes on a number of occasions for erection of a very long fence and also for a couple of landscaping projects. Elliott and his team have always worked conscientiously and to a very high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Simon, Elliot and the team undertook various Fencing working for us as well as laying a new concrete base for an oil tank. Great communications before and during work, high quality job done and worked easily with the plumber/oil engineer to get everything done right for a smooth connection of the oil tank. Their horticulture team also did a great job preparing and planting all the new borders and trees. Top team, would use again.

The whole Whitefoot team were absolutely delightful, spending nigh on a month re-working our rear garden, installing patios, retaining walls, pathway & fencing together with removal of much earth. Almost two years on, we are still delighted with their work, nothing was too much trouble and their happy disposition made for a very relaxed project. Would highly recommend Whitefoot.

White Foot completed our rear patio and sleeper wall installation. From start to finish the team were professional, respectful and tidy. A key point to our project, was changes that were made as we progressed. The changes were supported by the team and they helped with the vision and design, using their expertise to bring their own ideas into the build, to ensure it looked perfect. After care has also been very good, and White Foot support customer contact with any queries post completion. Highly recommend.

Jamie transformed my garden from getting stuck in with great design ideas, all the way through the build until it was completely finished... We use Jamie and Greenroof for almost everything! They've basically designed the entire outdoor area and helped us develop it over time too. Everything was added over the course of 9 months as we didnt know what we wanted, so started with the patio, grass then a few months later added the shed, pergola and trees. The last picture is now (nearly 2 years later). Great bunch of people to work with and what struck me was their promptness in delivery and attention to detail. We love our space and would use them again in a heart beat.

Jamie completed a new patio, drainage and new turf in the back garden, and new turf, hedging and path out the front of the house. Everything was completed to a high standard, and they somehow managed to turn our very vague brief into the perfect garden space, despite many changes along the way! Great communication, professional, tidy, and considerate of the neighbours when it came to waste. Highly recommend!

Jamie Harrington and his colleague have landscaped my front garden. They removed old grass, layed a membrane, put on top soil, compacted the ground, returfed, put down sandstone slabs in two areas and put in a step by patio doors. I am very pleased with their work, the garden is now levelled out and is in 💯 better shape than it was.

This is our nearest National Trust place to visit. My wife and I normally combine a walk with a visit to the gardens, there are some lovely local walks close by. There is a car parking fee of £4. The gardens are well maintained, though some infrastructure parts have been neglected for a while. For example I’ve not seen the small routed water stream that crosses the path, after the dragons, running for some years. And part of the garden wall has been down for a while- perhaps that is becoming a feature. But overall it’s a lovely garden with several different paths around. There is a cafe offering food and drinks that is popular. They also have a gift shop and sell some plants. I didn’t see it this last visit, but previously I have also seen afternoon -tea bookings on offer in the Greenhouse.

Just gardens, you have to pay for parking £4 as privately owned but National Trust members entrance only is free. Pleasant gardens, Lake and tea room. We were a little disappointed though as we were there less than a hour as not much to see.

Hidden gem! The gardens are a real treat for the eyes with all the vibrant flowers and intricate designs. The tea room was a nice touch too, serving up some delicious cakes. Perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon stroll. The staff was friendly, and parking was a breeze

We inherited Nathan when we moved into our house. We have used him continuously for the last 12 years. During this time he has undertaken all sorts of garden work ranging from lawn cutting, scarifying, de-mossing and re-seeding through hedge and bush pruning and re-shaping to patio, wall and fence construction and repair. After contacting boundaries and borders, Nathan soon came to discuss and look at what i wonted and the work needed for my new fence, patio and grassed area.
