Very thorough and got the job done. Had a problem with the circuit board which kept tripping. Diagnosed the problem over phone by telling me which relays to switch on and off to test the circuit. Turns out it was the lighting ring. I was able to keep all sockets running without tripping the board which was great as I working from home. Came within next couple of hours and went through checked board then the lighting ring and found the problem with an outdoor light. No more problems once disconnected. Cleaned up after themselves and everything was put back as it was. Call this company first! They know what they are doing.

Such a great company. They were really responsive from initial enquiry. Installation booked in and they were really flexible when I needed to pay. Sent through invoice promptly and I was able to pay the deposit through a number of channels. Turned up on the day agreed, after having messaged to remind me the day before and in the morning. Really helpful for me who is forgetful and reassuring to know they are still coming. On the day. Really friendly, speedy and tidy work. I can not praise this company enough. Late afternoon and we lose all electrics in our home..i found the company details on line and after seeing the reviews I gave them a call. Within under 2 hours Jim had juggled his schedule to attend and get power back for us. He was courteous on the phone and very pleasant and helpful when he arrived. The problem was a dimmer switch which he will return and fit a replacement in the next few days. Power was restored and we have found the electrician that we will call on when needed...he will also be our first contact for electrical work on a rental property we own. I highly recommend Jim and his company when you need electrical work.

Jim and JDB Electrical Solutions will be our ‘go to’ electricians from now on. He installed 2 sets of security lights and 2 linked smoke alarms, replaced a broken socket and he also fixed an issue with our bathroom lights that had been problematic for a number of years. I contacted WES as I had a fault which took out the supply to the kitchen and boiler. While Jackie and Chris were booked out, they made time in their schedule to help. I had a 4KW solar PV system fitted to my house by Gary. He was really knowledgeable and the installation was really neat and tidy. He had to get a carpet up to gain access for some cables and I couldn't tell it had been touched after he had finished. Highly recommended.

I had been without hot water for months as my electric boiler received intermittent voltage from the main consumer unit. Simon gave me a competitive quote and booked me in for the following working day. He arrived promptly, found the fault in minutes and fixed it without a hitch (including fitting new double pole switches in the boiler room to replace the existing fused ones which were inadequate).
