Jim Baxter of JDB Electrical Solutions is exactly the kind of electrician you want. He is friendly, professional, courteous, excellent at prompt communication, and knows what he is doing with a very healthy regard for safety issues and appropriate quality components for different kinds of electrical supplies. He really went the extra mile to rescue our destroyed conservatory electrical supply plus upgrade and reconnect our garden electrics and is very committed to getting the job finished and to the best health and safety standards. He was always on time, both with returning calls, texts and emails, as well as the actual visits to do the work or assess the work for a quote. Incredibly, for someone so good, he is also very fairly priced, and so my wife and I are really glad to have him in our 'tradesmen file' for our future electrical needs. We will be having him back again for certain, and would certainly not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I can not praise this company enough. Late afternoon and we lose all electrics in our home..i found the company details on line and after seeing the reviews I gave them a call. Within under 2 hours Jim had juggled his schedule to attend and get power back for us. He was courteous on the phone and very pleasant and helpful when he arrived. The problem was a dimmer switch which he will return and fit a replacement in the next few days. Power was restored and we have found the electrician that we will call on when needed...he will also be our first contact for electrical work on a rental property we own. Jim and JDB Electrical Solutions will be our ‘go to’ electricians from now on. He installed 2 sets of security lights and 2 linked smoke alarms, replaced a broken socket and he also fixed an issue with our bathroom lights that had been problematic for a number of years.
