Until recently I hadn’t been to a dentist in years- mainly due to my dental anxiety. I have now had a number of appts and I can’t recommend this dental practice enough. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and Christos was fantastic, having someone explain what was happening every step of the way was particularly helpful for me (and my anxiety). Thank you.

My whole family moved to this practice following the closure of our previous local BUPA practice and particularly to follow the lovely dentist we had, very luckily on an NHS basis still. Although it's more of a trek it's worth it for the friendly welcome, gleaming practice and the continued level of care. Just hope it continues to be available.

Super lovely practice, helped me get over my fear of the dentist. As some one on the spectrum I was always made to feel comfortable and understood. Only reason I'm leaving is due to switching to a nhs practice, although they do accept here I understand there is a waitlist.

Finally found a dentist practice where all the staff care enough to treat you with kindness and consideration. In particular Rachel, a dental nurse, made sure I was confident and comfortable with every step of my treatment. Every nervous or struggling dental patient needs a Rachel. Initially went to this dentist as I'd broken my front tooth & my NHS dentist had removed me from their list for not attending enough times!! 🤬 I arrived for my emergency dental appointment at Saltergate Dental with both my infant granddaughter in her pram & my 91 year old mum, not realising the surgery was upstairs! This was no problem as members of staff immediately helped me to get both of them upstairs (no mean feat!) and it seemed nothing was too much trouble. I had been booked in for a check up appointment (required before any work can be carried out) but my new dentist managed to squeeze in the repair to my front tooth in the same appointment. My dentist (Ayesha Chowdhury) made an amazing job of it & I am absolutely delighted! I have since been back for a deep clean appointment due to some gum disease & was again delighted with the considerate, professional service I received. Yes, I am paying for this treatment as opposed to it being NHS but to be honest, it hasn't been that much more than the NHS charges I was paying before. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

I have been with the practice, Middleton and Gale, then on retirement of Mr.Middleton, with Justin Gale, with whom I have complete faith when needing different dental treatments with him. My experience has encouraged my adult family to register with Saltergate practice too.

I've been in this dentistry for 2 years by the NHS. To get an appointment, just call and make an appointment for a convenient day and time for you. I didn't have to wait long. I'm happy. I treated my teeth here several times, and today I was on a preventive examination. Also here you can get the necessary advice in particular from a doctor who speaks English and also in Russian (it's very convenient for me since I'm from Ukraine and I'm really more comfortable communicating on any topic of dental problems in Russian). Thank you very much for your attention and constant support.

This Dentist Practice is great they are Brilliant they have treated me well and done all they can to help. I wouldn’t want any other dentist. Thank you for supporting me when I broke my foot Twice in 10 weeks and made it possible for me to have treatment downstairs. So with all my heart Thank you to all the wonderful staff. The dentist goes out of his way to explain the procedures and the reception staff are both informed and kind. I have had several different dentists within this practice and always had first class treatments. I am a paying, National Health patient

Oral surgeon here is AMAZING best dental surgeon ever. I have major anxiety about dentists and had to have a tooth out that shattered needing bits drilling out and stitches. The dental surgeon was reassuring, kind and really skilled at what she does. Recommended A* for nervous patients

I had to visit here when I had an exposed nerve and an infection a short while ago. I am one of those people that is uncomfortable at the dentist, however, the staff including the dentist at this practice were amazing. A clear and concise conversation about what we are doing moving forward and very nice staff .... this is the best dentist I have ever visited by far. I would recommend them to anyone who (like me) has a fear of dentists messing with your teeth. 10/10 and thank you for the desperately needed emergency care 👍

I recently visited the practice and the service was excellent. Nadine on reception made me feel so welcome and at ease with regards to my safety under covid checks. My dentist Jo was so friendly and helpful with advise. The nurse was also friendly and patient. Cannot fault any staff as they are professional and friendly at all times. An amazing team.

I could not recommend this dental practice enough. I have been going to Dr. Sidhu for rental treatment for a number of years. I travel from coventry to chesterfield for treatment. This time and care if gives is exceptional. He explain exactly what he is doing, and why he is doing it. For someone that is very nervous about a dental treatment he is the perfect person to go to. His treatments are second to none. Today I have a filling replaced. You can't even see the new filling. It blends in with the existing tooth.

I've been in paid for the past week with my tooth and was getting so upset not being able to find a dentist. I was honestly at the point of giving up, the receptionist Tracey was lovely on the phone and managed to help me!! I've spoken to so many dentistry's and the receptionist have been quite harsh which at the moment has been killing me because I'm just trying to help my pain, but it was a breathe of fresh air talking to Tracey!!! My daughter has been under the care of this practice for the last 2 years. We have both been really happy with the excellent care and treatment she has received, and her teeth look amazing after her fixed brace was removed today (retainer to be fitted next week). The staff are very friendly, approachable and have given good advice for the duration of the treatment. We would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking at orthodontic treatment. Thankyou 😊

Very friendly and happy receptionist. The dentist was very friendly and went through everything very clearly, he looked at my 4 year olds teeth and he was excellent with him and make him very relaxed. He also looked at my 6 months old 2 teeth which was very nice of him. Wouldn’t go else where. 5 stars!

After a disastrous accident on a hoverboard, resulting in my daughter’s teeth being severely damaged, the staff at Peak Smile have been amazing. Nearly 2 years on, and her teeth are now looking amazing. Fixed brace is off & retainer is fitted. We can see light at the end of the tunnel. The staff are amazing; friendly; professional and caring. They accommodated my daughters every need. Thank you Peak Smile 😊

Had my orthodontic treatment at Peak Smile Studio and they were absolutely brilliant every step of he journey. They went that extra mile to get my smile perfect and each member of staff are so lovely and welcoming. You really feel looked after. Honestly one of the best dental experiences I’ve had. I saw Lauren today for a scale and I left feeling genuinely cared for. She was not only incredibly thorough and professional, but also so warm and bubbly—it felt like I was chatting with a friend who just happens to be amazing at cleaning teeth! She explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and didn’t rush a thing. My teeth feel amazing and I left with a big smile on my face (a very clean one!). The reception team were also absolutely lovely and so helpful—welcoming from the moment I walked in. And a big shoutout to Bonnie and Claire, who were fantastic nurses—kind, reassuring, and clearly great at what they do. You can really tell this team cares. Thank you all for making something clinical feel so personal and positive. You’re a credit to your profession!

Such a lovely experience from start to finish! I had my scale done today and Lauren was absolutely brilliant. Not only was she super thorough and gentle, but she was also so bubbly and friendly—it made the whole appointment feel relaxed and even enjoyable (who thought I’d say that about a scale?). My teeth feel amazing—squeaky clean and fresh. You can really tell she takes pride in her work and cares about her patients. Highly recommend Lauren if you want top-quality care with a smile!
