Had a great breakfast bap, dog friendly in the bar area. Coffee good, can't wait to return and try the other menu.

Had some food from Yummylicious by Jojo this evening and I have to say that it was the best mutton I've had this side of Jamaica. Fish burger was incredible too. Beautiful fresh fish cooked to perfection 👌 we will be back again and again

Cracking pint of Guinness in here at a reasonable price. Staff are unbelievably friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend visiting if you live local as these are independently owned and could probably do with local support as possible. Also a great spot for the Football.

Lovely little gem in Bearwood! Staff are super friendly, the pistachio cookie served warm was a pleasant surprise and the milk cake was light and tasty. The newspaper style menu is a nice touch. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely revisit.

First time visiting this cafe, despite walking past it a million times since it opened! And what a delight it is. A great selection of drinks and cakes on offer, and the service was wonderful. I ordered the milk cake which was suggested by the lady serving, as it is refrigerated and not on display. It was delicious, along with the hot chocolate. There’s attention to detail in the presentation of food and I will be back to taste the other dishes for sure.

A popular cafe on Bearwood High Street. Warm and welcoming staff that greet you with a 😊 smile no matter the time of the day. They appear to have regular customers given by the conversation they are having whilst ordering with the staff. For a small cafe they have a good range of cakes, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks to choose from. Lots of seating inside and a nice clean toilet. The sandwiches looked nice, will probably go back and have soon. I had a warm croissant with 🔥 chocolate with marshmallows. They were both delicious 😋. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing or like myself making a visit to the dentist. As the logo inside says Eat, Drink & Relax 😊

Visited here on Thursday, mid-morning in early December. Had a short wait outside until a table was available. Staff were very friendly and chatty and this is a very popular place. Good range of breakfast/brunch/lunch options. Food arrived quickly and was tasty. Thank you, keep up the hard work.

Central Kitchen is our absolute favorite go-to brunch spot in Birmingham! The food is simply delicious (I especially love their English Breakfast and House Omelette). The staff is always super friendly and makes you feel welcome. The service is quick and everything is just perfect. I look forward to visiting again!

We popped in here today as we were out thrift shopping. Jacket potatoes were lovely and very reasonable priced. Not sure how new this place is but it seems to have had a recent refurb or newly opened. Cute style interior and a surprising little garden in the back where I immediately could see myself drinking a cocktail with a few girlfriends or hosting a party day or evening. Only thing I'd add is some more greenery and colour.

Today I had the pleasure of enjoying the quarter pounder burger meal with skin on fries and a large mocha from Karen's Cafe. The food and drink was of a very high quality, delicious and fantastic value for money ! The staff there are all excellent, very friendly and lovely atmosphere & room decor is vibrant and colourful. My burger (easily the most tastiest burger I've ever enjoyed!) was juicy and packed full of flavour, the skin on fries were perfect & as someone who drinks alot of coffee and has been to cafes all across the Midlands, the coffee here is undoubtedly the best coffee i have ever drank ! If your looking for a cafe, then look no further, Karen's Cafe has something for everyone to enjoy ! I look forward to my next visit 😊

There’s a little cafe opened round the corner from us Karen’s cafe where the kc burger is a work of art and will reduce you to tears,there shakes & cakes are to die for,and the breakfasts are just out of this world, staff are very friendly & nothing to much trouble,just overall amazing,long may they reign 🥰😊

Went in to shelter from the rain! Cozy yet has lots of space inside, the black forest hot chocolate and mocha are very decadent and well priced for the portion size - service was great too - loved it

Coffee tales was recommended to us so we went in for a latte whilst shopping in the jewellery quarter. Such a lovely atmosphere. The cakes and the food looked delicious. We only had time for a coffee and it was the best latte I have ever tasted. This place is a little gem. 100% recommended 😃

Really nice food and restaurant, very decently priced. Lovely spiced chai latte, although it was a shame we couldn’t drink until after our meal as they were very hot! Would make it a 5 star if the service improves.

Great food, always love the ambience and staff is ever so friendly and welcoming. Niamh served us and there were few of us, she stunned all of us as she remembered every single one of our orders, very impressive which proves Damascena staff takes pleasure in providing ace customer service. Lovely place for family and friends gathering.

The ambiance is nice. Servers are super nice and patient. We had a good brunch here. Food is okay. The thing we loved the most was the falafels with humus. They were freshly fried and very tasty.

One of the better Damascena locations, a friendly and clean environment and the food was hot and tasty. Service was poor as they were short staffed and one server for all the tables. The food delivery was slower than expected. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Vegan options available.

I’m always at Wayland’s Yard and recommending the coffee to anyone who is in Birmingham. The menu has had a recent revamp which is secondary to the coffee IMO. I love that I can work comfortably and eat breakfast on weekdays. Brunch is also great!

Really positive! Great menu choices with enough choice for small, big (and huge) appetites. Staff are really attentive; basically awesome. Now, if you're after a nourishing salad bowl - this is not the place for you. But if it's eggy crumpets, thick hash browns and a full English - this is the Yard for you. P.S. ignore the mayo, I was given the most delicious chilli jam moments later.

Coffee was nice. Have various milk you can choose. I chose the coconut milk. It was not bad just too many ice. Can try the hot one next time. I ordered the pancakes with berries and eggy crumpets with avocado! They were nice and delicious as our small snack. Big space but just with one toilet. I was waiting for a long time to have it.

Simply exceptional. Fresh, quality ingredients. Beautifully seasoned and great value when you consider the price you pay in some of the other big chain brunch spots in the city. The potato rosti things were next level! Lovely coffee too and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back soon

I’d rate the service 20/5 if I could Ordered via Uber eats and one thing was missing so we ordered again because we love buffet shop and it’s always so good. New order came with a sweet apology note and they even told us to claim our money back on the new order, most businesses would never care that they miss something! We won’t be claiming the money back as we’ll be enjoying both sets of food but we’re very appreciative of the gesture. Thank you team ❤️

Just had the most incredible lunch at Damascena Coffee House in Birmingham! I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was absolutely bursting with flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and seasoned beautifully, and the accompanying sauces and fresh vegetables were a delightful complement. It was easily the best shawarma I've had in ages! To drink, I paired it with their black tea with mint and honey. It was the perfect refreshing and sweet accompaniment to the savory shawarma. The mint was fresh and fragrant, and the honey added just the right touch of sweetness. It was so soothing and delicious. The atmosphere in Damascena is always so warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. I can't recommend Damascena enough – I'll definitely be back soon!

Amazing food and amazing service. The waitress was very polite and attentive. Food was fresh and came quickly. I had the avocado toast with a medium-cooked egg along with a black tea and later ordered a Turkish coffee too. My coffee was served in a traditional authentic Turkish cup with a Turkish delight. Been coming here for a while now, and they never disappoint. Prices are very reasonable; I'd 100% recommend Damascena in Birmingham.

Returning customer here at this branch, it was lovely as always and the food was really nice. there’s a range of vegetarian options which is nice to see. the decor and the aesthetic is pretty but maybe the seating areas in the centre is a little cramped - we asked to move and we’re accommodated which was appreciated :) Our server was Hamza - super kind and helpful. good customer service.
