Oh my, I am sure i will put on a few stone by visiting The Pudding Stop, our first visit and we brought a few cakes, absolutely delicious, every single one was worth every calorie!!!! Great selection, service was excellent. We will definitely be going back for more, the diet can start next week 🤣🤣

Simply excellent on all fronts! 👌 the Puddings are all delicious with vegan/dairy and gluten free options available. Great choice of gelato with dairy free/vegan options available (would highly recommend the banana split flavour). The coffee is good quality and her hot choc/mocha are made with melted chocolate! (Take your own reusable cup for a discount). The service is outstanding though with the most friendly lady who takes the time to chat and make your day that little bit brighter!

My family and I really like this place and we can't seem to stop coming back or introducing friends and other family members! From the moment we enter we are always greeted by the same lovely person behind the till who always makes us feel welcome and takes the time to interact with our 3 year old (which completely makes our daughters day!). There is such a wide variety of treats from baked sweet treats, very tasty ice cream flavours often with different flavours, and hot and cold drinks. I've just today tried a milk shake and I'm a fan! We tend to order ice creams and take a moment to sit down on the benches inside to enjoy them and the music that's playing. The only problem now is trying to narrow down what I want next time I go in. My daughter refers to this place as "The place with the nice lady". I couldn't recommend this place more.

On an exorbitantly hot day, an ice cream at The Pudding Stop was exactly what I needed! I was impressed with both the high quality desserts and service when I visited. I ordered two scoops of ice cream, and enjoyed both. I was glad to get a mint chocolate chip that wasn’t aggressively green, which tells me it was made of decent ingredients (and not nasty dyes and fillers). It tasted lovely, and had just the right amount of sharp minty-ness. I also ordered caramel, which, simply, was wonderful. After enjoying the ice cream, I also bought a gluten free brownie, which was very rich. I can’t speak for the Caramel Slice as it contained gluten, but I was informed it was “diabolical” (in the positive sense of the word). As for the service, it was superb. The lovely woman behind the counter was very nice, and had a smile on her face the entire time. (I also really liked her lipgloss - let a girl know where it was from). I was allowed to try multiple flavours of ice cream without feeling pressured. As it was the end of the day, she even gave us an extra Caramel Slice for free. What a sweetheart! It was a bit of a bittersweet day, so this was such a nice, and well-needed, gesture. I will definitely be back! A definite recommendation!

Charlie was the perfect addition to my birthday brunch providing on tap coffee, hot chocolate and iced drinks to all my guests. Everyone absolutely loved him and loved the coffee, and has been raving about him since. Thank you so much Charlie. Look forward to seeing you on the high street for my next cuppa very soon!

Roaming Roast came and served the most amazing coffee and hot chocolate at our big celebratory brunch. Charlie was great to work with in the lead up, patiently answering my (many!) questions, and was calm, organised and efficient on the day. All our guests commented on how lovely Charlie is, how quick the service was, and most importantly how fabulous the drinks were! Charlie and Roaming Roast were a massive hit and I would highly recommend. Thanks so much Charlie.

I'm not a big coffee drinker but I thought I would stop and try something since everything looked so good. I got the moca and it was incredible. A perfect balance of sweet chocolate and coffee. I also tried the chocolate chip cookies and they were so good, they just melted in my mouth. This place is definitely worth going to. The owner was really nice and was more than willing to talk to me about his business. He's clearly very passionate. Go try for yourself you wont be disappointed!!!!

Absolutely love everything that comes off this little van bike thing! I enjoyed the coffee so much I went back for a bag of beans to enjoy at home. The flavour and smoothness of the coffee is incredible, I'll be back soon for a few more bags (perfect for Xmas presents 🎁) x

Mohammed is wonderful he’s always so friendly and takes genuine interest in speaking to you. His coffee is raved about and is a good price. He is very generous and sometimes offers passers by a ginger snap biscuit for free. I would highly recommend. A cute little coffee and snack stand located on platform 1.

Best coffee in town for a great price too! Love the pink chai as well - should start serving outside of the station too as would quite fancy walking down to get something even if not taking the train.

I’ve been visiting Radlett Cafe for over a year now, and it’s become one of my regular spots. If you enjoy a classic, old-school cafe vibe, this place is a gem. The coffee is hands down the best in town, and the staff are always warm and welcoming. Compared to other cafes in the area, it’s got a decent amount of space, which makes it a comfortable place to relax or catch up with friends. It’s also open every day, which is super convenient. Food-wise, I highly recommend the chicken shish and the healthy grilled chicken salad — both are absolutely top-notch! If you’re looking for a solid spot with a wide range of tasty English food options, Radlett Cafe is definitely worth a visit.

Came mid day Saturday and it was busy but can totally see why. My flat white was amazing! The avocado toast the lady next to me was eating also looked delicious! The added Art gallery also made it a great vibe.

Very nice. Quality of food and coffee was a cut above. Appears dog friendly - sat outside with my pooch. A very good reason to visit Radlett and I look forward to a return visit.

Love the coffee here. These guys know HOW to serve good coffee, by not overloading it with milk (or water) in big cups to appear to be better value, when instead degrading the quality of what must be delicately balanced. They are local, independent and care deeply about what they do, and that's becoming rare in such challenging times for those in hospitality. So well done to everyone at Brass Monkey and thank you.

Absolutely stunning choices of food, Good quality food at reasonable price. Very clean restaurant with very attentive staff. Really enjoyed their French toast. Highly recommended

First time visit to Taste and Linger, the owners Selim and Emine are wonderfully warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a really nice vibe to it, the food (most important) was fantastic, it was extremely fresh and tasty, we had a breakfast from the menu and tried the Baclava, which is worthy of a visit for by itself. Its rare now to find great value on high quality food, this definitely won't be our last visit. Recommended.

Honestly, one of the biggest and best breakfasts I've had in ages. Some lovely Turkish specialties on the menu, I got the Mediterranean Breakfast and it could have fed 4!! Staff were lovely and attentive, chef came out to check we were enjoying ourselves too. I wish this place all the success.

Recently reopened under a new management team, Linger & Taste is a fantastic spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. We went for breakfast this morning, and were greeted by a friendly team, quick and attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is well priced, ample portions and exactly what you should expect from a casual breakfast spot. They have the traditional British breakfast combinations, as well as omelettes, smoothies, and other lighter options. Value for money is perfect. I would definitely come back and would be excited to try lunch or dinner menu options.

Phillies makes the park such a lovely place to spend time in now. The menu has a good selection of favourites and some interesting variations. I had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad which was a big portion and so yummy. My son had their chicken burger and loved it. We shared their orange, pistachio, cranberry and raisin shortbread (from a bakery in Shenley) but I could have eaten one on my own! On a sunny Sunday like today, there was a constant flow of families enjoying all that Phillies had to offer with friendly staff clearly enjoying themselves being there too, making for a warm atmosphere. This place is serving up breakfasts that’ll make you rethink your entire weekend routine. Now, I’m a man of simple tastes—give me a good breakfast and a strong coffee, and I’m happy. This time around, I went for the poached eggs. And let me tell you, they were on point. Soft, runny yolk that made me feel like a breakfast king, with that perfect delicate poach that’s so hard to get right. I cut into them, and it was like they were made for me. Honestly, I’ve had eggs before, but these? These were next level. But wait—there’s more. No regular, boring hash browns here. Nope. We’re talking hash brown bites. Tiny, crispy, golden nuggets of potato goodness. Like little morsels of heaven that crunch just right without crumbling into a pile of soggy regret. If you’re one of those people who believes that hash browns are meant to be a rectangle-shaped block of sadness, then these bite-sized wonders will change your life. They’re like the breakfast equivalent of a good snack you didn’t know you needed. Now, the rest of the plate was just as delightful. The bacon was crisp, the tomatoes fresh (not that sad, mushy stuff you sometimes get), and the toast, oh, the toast not just any toast, but sourdough toast, just the right amount of crunch. Honestly, you could’ve served me this on a paper plate and I’d still be singing its praises. But thankfully, it came on something a bit classier than that. And the coffee? It was nothing short of sublime. We’re talking smooth, rich, make-you-forget-your-worries kind of coffee. If they ever bottle this stuff, I’ll be the first in line to buy it. It’s the kind of coffee that doesn’t need to scream “look at me,” but you can’t help but notice how perfect it is. As for the atmosphere, gorgeous doesn’t quite do it justice. Sitting outside in the park, sipping your coffee, surrounded by greenery, and the sort of peace that makes you feel like you’ve got the world figured out. If you close your eyes, you might even think you’ve been transported to some far-flung holiday destination. I mean, you’re just a stone’s throw from Radlett, but who needs to go sit on a busy high street, when you’ve got this? In short: Phillies Cafe is a solid win. Whether you're after a flawless breakfast, divine coffee, or a lovely spot to take it all in, this place has it. I don’t often get this excited about breakfast joints, but here I am, telling you it’s worth your time. Dog on leads are allowed into the cafe for when you order but there is plenty of space outside.

These are, without a doubt, the best bagels I’ve ever had! I can never resist a good bagel, so after visiting Battlers Green Farm, I couldn’t pass up the chance to grab a couple to take away - and they did not disappoint. The bagels are absolutely delicious, with consistently fresh quality whether enjoyed straight away or later in the day. I highly recommend The Salt Beef and The Green One - both are packed with flavour. And the schmear? Incredible. With so many variations, there’s something for everyone, but the dill & chive is my personal favourite. If you love a great bagel, this place is a must visit and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. ❤️

we have been to bagels and schmear a few times now and every time it’s been a 10/10!! i love a bagel and these are 100% my fave. everything about it is fab, the bagels, the schmear, the staff and the coffee! these are proper NYC bagels and are always the highlight of my weekend when i pick them up!! the classic is amazing and really reasonably priced, other bagel places are charging £13 for a salmon and cream cheese bagel that is no where near as good!! thanks to the bagel and schmear team for bringing new york to radlett and the fab team for always making the best bagels with a smile!!

We were looking for a lunch and did we find a hidden gem. This little shop is in Battler green farm complex and offers multiple options for your bagel with great combinations to suit anyones pallet. I was visiting from Australia and my sister and 2 nieces recommended Bagels & Scmear. Well I chose the salt beef bagel with the everything on bagel. What a choice! This took me back to Katz’s deli in New York. The environment although small is perfect for a coffee and a snack. Reasonably priced at £8 or £9 a bagel and you won't need more than one. The staff are all super friendly and the customer service was awesome. One not to miss but you will have to go looking for it as it is not going to jump out at you.

I visited this cafe while working on the airfield, i was there for 2 days. I found the staff friendly and helpfull, the food was excellent, i had the small fish and chips, it was huge! Well worth a visit to eat and look at aeroplanes.

One of my favourite little spots in Elstree. The Aerodrome Café has such a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe and it's the perfect place to grab a decent coffee and bite to eat while watching the planes come and go. There’s something about sitting right by the airfield that just never gets old. The food is great. Nothing fancy, just solid, well-made stuff. The breakfast is always a winner and the coffee hits the spot every time. Staff are friendly and always seem to be in a good mood, which adds to the charm.

We returned here after a 30 year break. It used to be a Friday lunch break for our girls when they were small. What a great improvement! Sheltered tables on the terrace and also inside within sight of the runway and parked planes. Proper food and delicious cakes as well as the snacks kids would hoover up. The broccoli spinach and ricotta quiche was hot and tasty and served with freshly fried chips and a small crisp salad.

Service was brilliant and staff were extremely kind, a great view of aircraft taxiing, taking off and landing. The Aerodrome was quite busy with aircraft and even at the height of the day parking wasn’t an issue. All around this place was really enjoyable to visit and would have to come again sometime soon.

Great little cafe in the middle of the woods. Great value for breakfast, with a full English costing only £12.50. There is outdoor seating and dogs allowed. The inside of the cafe is very noisy due to not having much soft furnishings. Staff are friendly and tables become available very quickly.

A great place for all the family. Spacious garden with plenty of tables & seating. A great place for a relaxing walk or bike ride. The food, the service & staff do a great job making the patrons (and pets) feel welcomed. Keep up the great job everyone 👍
