We called in today for a cuppa and cake and were very impressed on arrival with the extremely kind, friendly young lady as nothing was too much trouble, especially as we arrived near to closing time. We had a nice cup of tea and a piece of carrot cake. The menu for lunches etc also looked very nice. The owner told us they do a Sunday lunch using all local produce, which is always nice to hear. It's a little way out of Bridport, but in our opinion, it is well worth a visit. We will definitely come back again soon. I can only give 5 for customer service. i would have given 10 if I could.
We arrived just as they were closing. We only wanted a cup of tea and some cake, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. The carrot cake was delicious, and the tea was plentiful. They have a small menu but it caters for all at a very reasonable price. The small and cosy restaurant is spotlessly clean and the tables well spaced with additional seating outside if the weather is fine. All in all, a delightful find. We will definitely visit again.
Tony....... Young tony. Split the coffee. Didn't make a fuss. Immediate cleaned it Up and made a new latte. When I said it was cold,made a new one. What a star.....🌟 And it's a credit . That one so young Actually wants too work. He needs sponsoring ... A large company. Like Google . London. Could do with people Like Tony..x
Pretty tea rooms beside an old very rustic Mill. Very friendly welcome & generous pot of tea with choice of yummy cakes. Savouries looked great too.
Very relaxing lunch, great ambience in an authentic mill setting. Food was delicious, well presented, generous portion sizes, and good service too, so ticked lots of boxes. Will definitely return soon.
