Met a friend with my baby, they had the most clean and baby accommodating toilet. Including providing nappies if you needed it. They offered babycinno which my toddler loved and the food was amazing with a generous amount. Coffee was lovely ! Would recommend 100%
Such a beautiful little cafe. The staff were so friendly and happy. Food was so fresh and tasty too. Would definitely go back.
First time visiting. Absolutely gorgeous. The lighting, the art, the paintings were all so gorgeous. We stayed for tea and lunch. I had the mackerel pate. So yummy, the beetroot paired so well! No rush, polite staff team and lovely atmosphere. Really looking forward to visiting when it's warmer to enjoy the seats outside!
A great location and we loved sitting in the front in the sun shine. There are lovely full height Victorian windows that let in lots of sunlight. There is a really good view of the high street and the fields beyond. The service was really good, and the staff were friendly. We ordered 4 milkshakes, a Cinnamon Roll & a slice of Victoria sponge cake. The strawberry milkshake looked really good, but did not taste of strawberry, it was very creamy. There were real bits of strawberry in it, but the flavour was not quite right. The white chocolate and the banana flavours were really good. The sponge cake had lovely butter icing in the middle, but the cake was quite dry and crumbly. The Cinnamon Roll did not taste of cinnamon but the icing was delicious.
Great cafe, which is very conveniently suitable for vegans, coeliacs (they kept the gluten free cakes separate from gluten cakes, and used separate tongs), and those with dogs and a buggy/ pushchair. The only improvement would be if there were some more vegan and gluten free options. It's also quite expensive here and the portions are small but the space is nice and bright and there are plenty of seating options, with toilets on the ground floor.
