SGN performed a drop test for tightness incorrectly on my gas installation and classified the installation as immediately dangerous. SGN had made the test while one of my appliances was connected and running instead of making sure that all gas appliances were off. SGN capped my gas meter and I was left without gas for four days as a result. I called Acute Plumbing and Heating Ltd and asked them to retest the installation. Acute is a very busy company, but on hearing of my plight, rearranged their schedule to fit me in without delay. Steve and James from the company carefully ran a drop test and found that there no leaks or faults in the system and restored my supply. It was a pleasure to work with those two polite and friendly gas safe engineers. They saved me from a great deal of further discomfort and stress. I strongly recommend the company.
