This is the third major work that South Hams Handyman have carried out in the last few years for me. This time a completely new bathroom. As before, the work has been done to a very high standard, Jay liaised with us throughout the job, and as we were away in mid Dec. we were happy for Jay to have our key and do the major part of the work. We decided to use Jay after seeing examples of his work online and we were really pleased we did! We had an old upstairs bathroom that we inherited when we bought our house 12 months ago. It was in need of total replacement, including replacing the ceiling and removal of an old electric fan-heater that was attached to the wall. Jay was very transparent about costs and timelines (both of which were very accurate) and the end result looks fantastic. He is a super nice guy, down-to-earth, friendly, but more importantly he is honest and reliable. Would highly recommend!

Jay and his team recently completed some works installing electric shutters and lining and insulating the loft area at our flat.

We are very happy with the results, works completed efficiently, on time and on budget with good communication throughout.

I had a vision for a summer house on a hill and literally provided Jay with a basic drawing and some slightly tricky requirements (like reclaimed windows) and asked him to create something. Over the course of 3 months, Jay and Toby were a real pleasure to work with and the final result was even better than we could have imagined. Always professional, working to a deadline I highly recommend them for any project

Refurbishment of downstairs cloakroom (toilet/vanity unit & sink, tiles), replace cloakroom & hall floors with new luxury vinyl boards and updated upstairs bathroom with new vanity unit, toilet, bath panel, vinyl flooring, shower and shower screen.
Jay also installed floating shelves, mirror, paper towel and soap dispensers in the cloakroom.
Excellent job replacing what we believe to be the original build items of some 20 years ago (we have been in 2 years).
Have already arranged for refurb of en-suite later in the year.

Jay has just refurbished the en-suite shower room in addition to work carried out in the summer which again had the original items from property build 21 years ago. Very happy with the result and fully recommend South Hams Handyman
