It transpired that we had low gas pressure and Adam liaised with the council to get this sorted out, turning what could have been a saga for me into a non-event. Our engineer, Ethan, called to say when he was on his way and arrived promptly within the time specified. He assessed the fireplace and explained the process. He was thorough in preparing for the removal of the fire and ultimately, our feathered visitor. My husband and Ethan managed to remove the (huge) pigeon safely and release it back to the skies.
