The girls at Looma are honestly the absolute best at what they do! I’ve been going to Janessa to get my make up done for years now and she continues to amaze me with her ever-evolving skills. The environment at Looma is also so relaxed and welcoming. You are treat like a friend as much as you are a client which really puts you at ease. The attention to detail that goes into the make up Janessa applies is second to none and she is always learning new techniques and ways to absolutely slay when it comes to application. Every time I have had my make up done, I have had numerous compliments from people on nights out or at events. She really helps you feel confident and beautiful and I could not recommend her more! Also a big shout out to Lily who also works at Looma and is my other absolute go to for make up appointments. She is AMAZING! I also regularly get my lashes done with Janessa and after years of being worried that my natural lashes would get ruined if I got extensions, I’m so glad I put in my trust in someone who is a complete professional and really knows what they are doing. I’ve now being getting them done for around 6 months and my natural lashes are still SO healthy! Janessa takes so much care in making sure that your lashes are right for you and offers the best advice and aftercare along side this. I would not trust anyone else with my lashes now, she is the best!

I visited today for the first time and am so glad I did! Kyle was ace, had me laughing a new set of abs in the first 30mins of me being there "isn't he from Africa?!" 🤣 He made me feel really comfortable and welcome and took such good care of me explaining everything and really listening to my hair wishes. This is by far the best beauty salon I have been to. All the girls were really friendly and inviting, offering a drink on arrival, really comfortable atmosphere. Nell who did my nails was absolutely lovely, checking in to make sure my nails were perfect on my side, my nails came out better than perfect! The best manicure I have ever had. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend for beauty treatments. 🥰

I have not had my hair cut after around a year. Today was the first time I have been and what treated incredibly well by Chrissie and the rest of the team. She was fantastic! I have an alternative style (two shaved sides and bright blue hair) and like change to way I present to be masculine or feminine. Chrissie totally got me and what style I wanted she was able to make me look 10x better and my hair super healthy! She showed me how to style, encouraged me to mess around with it and seemed to genuinely enjoy what she was doing. I felt incredibly safe and welcome. I will be coming again thank you! ❤️

I have gone between various hairdressers in the last year feeling like I wasn’t completely valued. It would always be a very quick turnaround with the wash, cut & dry. It was evident that my last hairdresser hadn’t cut my hair equally on both sides. Chrissie took time to go through my needs and made me feel well looked after. It was obvious when pointed out where improvements could be made to the overall symmetry of my hair. I was made to feel so welcome by Chrissie & the team. I can honestly say I feel so much better in how my hair looks now versus what I have felt for the last couple of years. Chrissie has a real eye for detail which is evident when she was talking through her suggestions. Honestly it’s one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. Looking forward to returning!

Anthony James Hair Salon is incredible. My first short haircut in a few years, guaranteed I was a bit worried. Yet my hairdresser Cameron was absolutely brilliant: gave me curly hair tips and tricks, did really well at explaining what he was doing and I ended up with short hair with more defined curls. I absolutely adore my haircut!

Had my hair done for the first time in years by Christine and it was the loveliest experience. They have a quiet room upstairs for if you're feeling a bit anxious/ whatever reason, and I felt listened to and supported through this hair cut and absolutely love my new hair style. 100% recommended coming here if you're in Halifax!

I get my Hybrid Lash extensions with Sammy and absolutely love them! She is really the sweetest and funniest girl, and does amazing! She makes you feel super comfortable and right at home, it’s like you’ve known her for years. Her premises is gorgeous and love the vibes it set off, right in Halifax town with FREE parking!! She also does a number of other services such as make up and eyebrow laminating. All are VEGAN and CRUELTY FREE 🌱 thank you so much Sammy!!🖤

I was going to wait till I had the rest of the professional photos were back but I can’t wait any longer. Sammy was the MUA for my recent wedding day and she was honestly perfect. From first contact, through my trial (which I had for my hen do), till the wedding day Sammy was great at communicating and was accommodating to my needs and wants for the day. There was 6 of us (including the bride) for make up and lashes the morning of the wedding, Sammy was on time bright and early, fully kitted out and set up shop in the hotel room and worked her magic. Everyone looked stunning and exactly how I hoped we would. Sammy just ended up feeling like one of the girls during the morning and even helped me through the bride morning nerves and we had a little calming moment together which I will always be thankful for. The pictures speak for themselves and I cannot recommend her enough for your special day. Worth absolutely every penny! Thank you Sammy!

Highly recommended and the staff are amazing! I met Michelle 18 years ago and have never gone to anyone else since. I am so particular with my hair, Michelle & Danielle provide the best advise and are honest, if a colour or style I want wouldn’t work for my hair they let me know, and come up with an alternative. Amazing experience. My little girl really wanted a spa day (as a treat for working really hard at school and for her Awards she's achieved.) It was difficult finding somewhere that would cater for a 7 year old. My friend recommended creative beauty and I'm so grateful she did! To say the girls were brilliant with her feels like an understatement. They made her feel so comfortable and customised the treatments to suit. We had a foot soak, a body brush, back massage and facial. Safe to say she was in her element. Can't thank you enough for creating a wonderful memory we will treasure forever. I'm sure you will see us again some time in the future. Xx

As a belated Christmas do, my colleagues and I booked a January Hibernation package for a well needed pamper. We had a warm welcome. The girls really looked after us. Each service within the package wasn’t cut short which I was really pleased with. Plenty of beautiful products used. Five stars ladies, we will make it a regular thing! My friend and I went for a two hour afternoon pamper treatment. We were welcomed with a Buck’s Fizz and cupcake upon arrival whilst we enjoyed a foot soak next to a little fire with relaxing music. Then we had a back massage, facial and face/scalp massage; all were amazing. We left feeling very relaxed . Would highly recommend !

Booked a last minute package with Maya and so glad I did. The back and head massage was the best I've ever had, I felt so relaxed and at ease. I couldn't recommend and more highly. Can't wait to book in again.

Normally I have a dry cut, but as it was for a special occasion I had my hair washed, cut and blow-dried. Michelle made me look as if I had loads of hair, which I don't, in it has stayed like this all day. Thanks Michelle x

Julie wade Wow !! is all I can I say as soon as I sat in the chair I knew Michelle had experience and instantly felt at ease and trusted her with my hair I have struggled for a while with my hair and not getting the right colour etc my hair was a mix of awful grey dark blond red you name it all I can say it’s the happiest I’ve been in a long time my hair looks amazing and feels in better condition already just so glad I found revive amazing thank you and see you in 4 weeks Highly recommend 💯 x
