Love coming to get my hair done such a lovely friendly warm places I also brought my daughter Cody as she had such long hair and she was in need of a good hair cut Cody loves her new hair cut she enjoyed the experience and I will definitely go back every time love the staff here 10 out of 10

my 2 boys Connor and Alfie visit the salon every 6 weeks or so and Laura the boys hairdresser is lovely, she makes them feel so welcome and they love having their haircut, its clean very friendly and value for money would recommend to anyone with children she makes them feel at ease and treats them as the customers asking them what they want and if they are happy with their cut.

First time experience at The Salt Room. I decided to go with senior stylist Kathrine, who is also the owner, due to not having a great experience with more junior stylists elsewhere (only because I have a long hair and it takes twice as long and appears to overwhelm them). So happy with the result. Best cut I have had in ages, my long hair now has shape, hangs beautifully. I also went for highlights, not had them in many years. I was nervous about this as like a natural look. Wow, so happy with the results, subtle tweaks in Katherine's technique means I have no lines where the colour is. It blends perfectly with my hair, the lift of my natural colour has created a natural sunkist look, creating a natural highlighted look in my strawberry blonde hair. Katherine guided me to achieve a look I am so thankful for. Would recommend and will be going back. Thank you!! Great salon with a relaxed atmosphere, cosy, warm and welcoming. Natasha was fab and did a wonderful cut and restyle. She really listened and interpreted what I would like. Then I got to relax in the peaceful environment whilst she worked her magic. Thanks for being fab!

Always feel extremely welcome, lovely calm atmosphere. Tash always listens to what I would like and offers her advice. My colour is always glossy, making my hair look and feel healthy and the colour lasts. I feel I can stretch my colour between appointments.

The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. They made you feel welcome and their service was great! Always been happy with Michelle and pleased with results. 😊 They were amazing with my little boy when he had his hair cut so patient and fun! Thank you would definitely recommend!

I am so particular with my hair, Michelle & Danielle provide the best advise and are honest, if a colour or style I want wouldn’t work for my hair they let me know, and come up with an alternative. As a belated Christmas do, my colleagues and I booked a January Hibernation package for a well needed pamper. We had a warm welcome. The girls really looked after us. Each service within the package wasn’t cut short which I was really pleased with. Plenty of beautiful products used. Five stars ladies, we will make it a regular thing! My friend and I went for a two hour afternoon pamper treatment. We were welcomed with a Buck’s Fizz and cupcake upon arrival whilst we enjoyed a foot soak next to a little fire with relaxing music. Then we had a back massage, facial and face/scalp massage; all were amazing. We left feeling very relaxed . Would highly recommend !

Booked a last minute package with Maya and so glad I did. The back and head massage was the best I've ever had, I felt so relaxed and at ease. I couldn't recommend and more highly. Can't wait to book in again.

Today me and my 9 year old had a mother and daughter day. We had a foot soak whilst enjoying drinks and a cupcake. We then had a back massage and a relaxing facial before our nails done together. It was a great price at 55 each which was super value for money. The staff were friendly and warm/welcoming. The relaxation room was lovely. I liked that the treatment room had 2 beds in for us to have our massage together. It was relaxing and great eye for detail. The pressure and massage was perfect. My daughter (as it was her first time) was beeming and said it was the best day and could she stay. I have used 5 spas In halifax/huddersfield area over the last 7 years and go regularly (every 2 months) for treatments. I have not been here before but chose at it as it allowed children to attend with you to treat my daughter. It so far was one of the best places I have been and one of my favourite. It is only 1 of 2 places I found that allowed children /under 16s in the area but the other was 2 separate rooms for treatments-it was great to be in the room together. It is well worth a try.

Had my makeup done by Janessa a couple of years ago and LOVED IT! I won’t trust anyone else to do my makeup! So lovely and professional!

I have been going to Janessa for my makeup around 2 years now. She is unreal at her profession and I could honestly say in my opinion, the best in the industry. I wouldn’t trust anyone else near my face. It’s always a comfortable, friendly; professional and affordable experience when having my makeup done and I can always rely on her lovely self to make me feel my best:) x

I have never had my make-up done before but Izzy was really lovely and did an amazing job. She asked me lots of questions about what I wanted and the result was amazing. I came out with beautifully applied subtle make-up that really suited me. I will definitely be coming again.

The girls at Looma are honestly the absolute best at what they do! I’ve been going to Janessa to get my make up done for years now and she continues to amaze me with her ever-evolving skills. The environment at Looma is also so relaxed and welcoming. You are treat like a friend as much as you are a client which really puts you at ease. The attention to detail that goes into the make up Janessa applies is second to none and she is always learning new techniques and ways to absolutely slay when it comes to application. Every time I have had my make up done, I have had numerous compliments from people on nights out or at events. She really helps you feel confident and beautiful and I could not recommend her more! Also a big shout out to Lily who also works at Looma and is my other absolute go to for make up appointments. She is AMAZING! I also regularly get my lashes done with Janessa and after years of being worried that my natural lashes would get ruined if I got extensions, I’m so glad I put in my trust in someone who is a complete professional and really knows what they are doing. I’ve now being getting them done for around 6 months and my natural lashes are still SO healthy! Janessa takes so much care in making sure that your lashes are right for you and offers the best advice and aftercare along side this. I would not trust anyone else with my lashes now, she is the best!

I get my Hybrid Lash extensions with Sammy and absolutely love them! She is really the sweetest and funniest girl, and does amazing! She makes you feel super comfortable and right at home, it’s like you’ve known her for years. Her premises is gorgeous and love the vibes it set off, right in Halifax town with FREE parking!! She also does a number of other services such as make up and eyebrow laminating. All are VEGAN and CRUELTY FREE 🌱 thank you so much Sammy!!🖤

Sammy is an inspiration and also exceptional with her treatments. I love her M curl and classic lashes, plus eye brow laminating and luxury brow treatment. I have had so many compliments on how natural and good quality my lashes look and they do last. Sammy has very high standards which comes with a very funky and modern studio and fantastic customer service. She is down to earth and makes you feel really comfortable. I would highly recommend these treatments and also can’t wait to try her new henna brows. Thanks x

I was going to wait till I had the rest of the professional photos were back but I can’t wait any longer. Sammy was the MUA for my recent wedding day and she was honestly perfect. From first contact, through my trial (which I had for my hen do), till the wedding day Sammy was great at communicating and was accommodating to my needs and wants for the day. There was 6 of us (including the bride) for make up and lashes the morning of the wedding, Sammy was on time bright and early, fully kitted out and set up shop in the hotel room and worked her magic. Everyone looked stunning and exactly how I hoped we would. Sammy just ended up feeling like one of the girls during the morning and even helped me through the bride morning nerves and we had a little calming moment together which I will always be thankful for. The pictures speak for themselves and I cannot recommend her enough for your special day. Worth absolutely every penny! Thank you Sammy!

Absolutely love everything about Therapy Skincare. Louise is fantastic and really knows her stuff. The treatments are amazing too. Also haven't been for a while and you forget how good she makes you feel. I got the indian head massage and felt really relaxed and uplifted after.

A blissful l hour and 15 min facial, left feeling so relaxed. Louise is exceptional, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.

Gorgeous and relaxing facial in a warm, seductive and pristine treatment room. Skin feels glowing and enjoyed taking time out to relax.

10/10 back massage. Only opted for 30 minutes but it was completely worth it. So many knots and the masseuse worked through them all

Both Bailey and Sam are great therapists and very friendly. I have waxing done here and deep tissue back massages. The back wax is done professionally and as close to pain free as you can get. The deep tissue back massage was just what I needed. I was asked before where the trouble areas lie and they were focused on with great care. Would highly recommend for the above two treatments received to anyone.

Beautiful salon with excellent friendly service and competitive prices. Would highly recommend. If I could have a pedicure every day with Bailey, I would do ☺️. Plenty of parking directly outside and all on the flat, so not a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

This is by far the best beauty salon I have been to. All the girls were really friendly and inviting, offering a drink on arrival, really comfortable atmosphere. Nell who did my nails was absolutely lovely, checking in to make sure my nails were perfect on my side, my nails came out better than perfect! The best manicure I have ever had. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend for beauty treatments. 🥰

They create a lovely atmosphere when in the salon and I always get compliments on my hair afterwards, fully recommend headhunters ❤️
