We had a family meet up here as this was a very convenient location with plenty of parking. The restaurant was busy but the service was not impacted and we were really well looked after. There was a good selection of drinks and food. The food was very tasty and we were very happy.

Food was amazing, service even better l! Ash is the most accommodating, friendly and welcoming host. Will definitely be back and recommending to our friends and family. Merry Christmas to your whole team.

My husband and I visited the Rose & Crown on a recent trip to England. They were close by our lodging and was selected purely for their proximity. What a marvelous bit of serendipity. I ordered the slow roasted pork and my husband the duo of lamb. Both dishes were completely sublime. The pork was tender to the point that you didn't really even need a knife to cut it even though it was thick. The sides were flavorful and paired perfectly with the mains. My husband says that the lamb roast was the best he'd ever had and the shepherd's pie was nice too. The service was also amazing. Andy was the best. He made us feel completely welcome. So much so that even though we were at the end of our trip we went back the next night (our final night) for a late night snack. The second night we shared the duck pizza. We had the best food of our entire trip at the Rose and Crown.

We had a delicious meal at the Rose and Crown last week. The Sunday roast was delicious (plenty of gravy which was super tasty) portions are good value for money and service/atmosphere was also great. Would also recommend the Camembert sharer, it’s awesome! Have already booked to come back next month with a different group of people and very much looking forward to it!

What a way to celebrate my wife's Birthday! Thank you to Ash who was amazing and made sure we was all looked after. Food is out of this world. All 9 of us enjoyed the food and drink. Thank you again for a wonderful evening
