Not just great fish! A must visit for a Sunday lunch, Sankey’s is definitely up there for one of the best roasts in Tunbridge Wells. Beef was cooked perfectly and the roast potatoes were fluffy and crunchy. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the swede mash which had a curry flavour so for me was a no but that’s a personal preference. But in saying that with a fish dish that would have gone perfectly. Had a glass of the Chilean Merlot which was really reasonable and delicious. If you’ve got a big appetite go for a starter but if not I’d stick with just a roast and if you have room squeeze in a dessert!

We came here for dinner after getting married, the food was perfect for the group, everyone was happy with the options. The atmosphere had a great positive upbeat vibe to it, and the service was great! We felt very much in safe hands. Thanks to the chefs too - brilliant fresh food all round! PS I highly recommend the dressed crab.

A fantastic meal here, every mouthful of food was bursting with flavour, all cooked beautifully. There was very little waiting time, staff was attentive and helpful. There is no carpark but that isn't an issue as 2hr free parking down the road. Will definitely be back!

We LOVE this place ! The food is soooo nice and the atmosphere is amazing. Front of house is amazing (especially Dan!), always chatting through the food options. But honestly great wine and outstanding food !
