Just had a wonderful lunch with my parents. I had scallops, mackerel and ice cream, all of which were delicious. The scallops and mackerel were the best I have ever had and that includes restaurants I have been to in France. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and can’t wait to go again.
Stayed here in their recently refurbed rooms. They had a heating problem (not their fault) but went out of the way to put it right which was much appreciated. The rooms were of a really good standard and the breakfast in the pub is incredible! Location is great, just up the road from the harbour. We will be back if staying in the area again.
Friday lunchtime and the place was packed, however we found a table and placed our order..... fish and chips + 2 pints. Couldn't believe how quick the service was or how well the food was cooked. Plenty of time for our 45 minutes parking spot. Dog friendly
Had a fantastic meal and drink! I ordered the roast beef, and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and beautifully put together. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and top-notch food—I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!
Went for Breakfast and was very satisfied, plenty of options on the menu, small breakfast is really good, very well cooked, nice and hot, my only minor complaint, the coffee could have been hotter. You can tell from the photo's on social media of the food served here, clearly a talented chef and team, will be going back for lunch soon. For anyone who does not know Emsworth, it's a very pretty town, by the water which feels like you're on holiday, we don't live too far away and always love coming here. I had no idea this pub did such good food though and the staff are great too!
