On this occasion, I didn't eat as just meeting friends for a few daytime pints (Lots of nice ales to choose from and some local (Delphic Brewery to name one)). The weather was warm enough to sit outside and admire the beautiful surroundings. The staff always seem to be happy to help. A lovely experience.

We want to say a massive thank you to all the staff that made my mums surprise 70th meal so special, food was amazing staff were fantastic and atmosphere was brilliant, we had such a lovely evening and when I am down in Reading again I will definitely be back. Thank you so much again 🥰

Just got back from a lovely family meal at The Rowbarge. Both the kids and Sunday menu were decent, although a couple of extra vegetarian options would have been nice. The Sunday roast was decent, and everyone else seemed to be happy with their options. The portions were spot on, as we're the deserts. The added bonus of having an alcoholic free lager on draft was also an added bonus. The staff and waiting times were also great. Overall a great pub/restaurant for a nice family meal. My only suggestions would be a couple more vegetarian options as mentioned, and a few more vegetables with the Sunday roast 👍

A perfect spot for a lunch break. The staff at The Rowbarge are warm and welcoming, making you feel at home right away. The food was delicious, and service was impressively quick. Highly recommend stopping by!
