Anna came to our home within an hour or so of me calling her even though it was Sunday. She was very patient, supportive & explained what was going to happen. She even dealt with taking him to the pet crematorium for us. It was one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make after having our Barney for over 14 years bringing him home at 8 weeks old so thank you Anna for making it as quick & easy as it possibly could be

Thursday 6th February, we said our goodbyes to our special disabled frenchie Henry. Anna made our final goodbyes, so calm, peaceful. I found Anna was so gentle, kind and compassionate throughout our final time with Henry. Henry's sister , myself and my daughter are now able to grieve our loss. 🐾 Anna sent a beautiful card with such lovely words, which was such a lovely thing to do.

We cannot thank Anna enough for the caring and professional way she put our dear Tilly to sleep. She was so very kind making the whole experience more bearable and having her come to our home felt the right way to say goodbye to our much loved Tilly. It is an amazing service and thank you Anna for your compassion. Nigel & Sue

The best vets I have ever used. So helpful and considerate. I took my Border Terrier to have his ear checked and was pleased with outcome. Also the young lady on reception kindly made me a coffee while I waited for my lift. Excellent service, would recommend.

I was on holiday when I needed to see a Vet for my dog. I found the contact details in the information pack for the cottage I was renting. The receptionist was so helpful, especially when I couldn't find the location despite using my satnav. The Vet gave Theo a thorough examination and prescribed a medicine. It enabled us to enjoy the remainder of our holiday. 5* service, and very happy to recommend.

Everyone at Riverside was so lovely when we took our chihuahua in this evening. Hes now recuperating at home after hurting his hip. Pain killers are helping. Thank you so much. Totally recommend this vets 🐕💖

We had to rush our elderly dog for an emergency and every step of the journey back to him being his old self was brilliantly supported by the team at Riverside. Helen who treated him was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate and did a great job at explaining the treatment path and putting our minds at ease.

Every time we have visited the staff are all very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I trust each time that my pets are receiving the best care and they are in very safe hands.

Excellent experience from registration to first appointment. Everything was explained and I was given excellent advice and reassurance. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed what could have been a nervous 2nd vaccination appointment. Very glad i chose to register my new puppy at the Ashbourne practice.

Everyone at McMurtry is amazing. They are kind, helpful and take fantastic care of our pet dogs, who unfortunately have had to visit a few times. Luckily they are in the best possible care. Thank you!

Excellent practice. Staff are super. Very caring! Always keep me informed of treatments/costs etc. have used other vets but these are in my opinion the best in my area by far. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else.

This is an excellent vets the staff are friendly and helpful and can't do enough to help you from the receptionist to the vets they all treat you and your pet with love, respect, care and dignity , I've had the most dealings with Peregrine Bowden that did an amazing job operating on my little princesses eye and later with Sarah Jones who is amazing at her job she is so lovely and nice and caring these people really don't get nowhere near the thanks and appreciation that they all deserve an excellent practice ❤️❤️😊😊 pic of my princess Rosie

I have a very nervous rescue and have recently attended this vets. The vet, staff and practice were all amazing! They took extra care and made it our best experience yet at a vets. Having a nervous cat and treating him so well, very informative and offer good plans too.

Good quality reliable lovely people who really listen and care about our 4 lovely cats in their different shapes and sizes. Helpful and kind to our cat family.

I can only highly recommend their service, they are an excellent & genuinely caring team, from reception staff to the vets. The fees are reasonable too. I feel that my pets are in safe, caring & capable hands. We've moved from another vets & this practice seems much better & is well worth the longer journey.

Absolutely brilliant vets. Came in today with my hamster George for an emergency visit. The nurse vet Tawny (I think that was her name) was absolutely amazing and washed away any fear of my hammy being treated like a throw away pet like many do. She was absolutely amazing giving advise and helping us through a very scary moment of our lives. Can't thank you enough!!

Took really good care of our dog after she became poorly and daily check in person or with photos for progress updates.

Unfortunately we had to make the difficult decision to send our old terrier over the rainbow bridge. The staff were incredibly kind and compassionate and gave us as much time as we needed both before and after she went. I know money shouldn't come into it but unfortunately it does, and the bill we received was so much more reasonable than what you would expect from some of the larger chain vets. We live over 40 mins away but will always be taking our dogs there as the service is worth the distance!

Time and again the vets have have performed miracles with our dogs. They are so kind and really care. Some of the miracles have been pretty major and they really understand what you are going through and look after you too. Thank you Bakewell vets you are all terrific.

Staff are amazing offered for our puppy to attend once a month to have play time and to meet other dogs so she doesn’t just see the vets as a negative place.

Our Red Setter Chilli was taken ill on Christmas day whilst we were on holiday. We were seen by Douglas Ross. I was very grateful for the very caring service we received and would like to say she has recovered and is back to herself. Just brought my dog, Lottie, to the surgery as she’d eaten a large homemade chocolate chip cookie. The staff were wonderful particularly Alison, the receptionist, who made me a cup of tea whilst I waited for Lottie to be treated. The vet was kind, reassuring and clearly loves her work. Lottie is tired but will be fine after she’s had a good sleep. I cannot recommend this veterinary practice highly enough, thank you! X

Kind and helpful team that care for your animals and you! Our two cats don’t travel well and I arrived flustered after both had accidents in their carriers on the drive to our appointment. The team were so kind and helped me carry the cats, even whisking them away to clean them up which I was so grateful for. Thank you!

From the waiter who answered the phone to the front desk staff to the veterinarian, they were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Although there were many customers, the waiting time was not too long. The price was reasonable. My dog was treated effectively and the skin disease was cured in a week. Would recommend again, highly recommend and a big thank you to all the staffs.꒰^ↀωↀ^꒱❤❤

My dog, Maisy, suffered from pyometra last year and had to go in out of hours for emergency surgery. The vet was amazing and very reassuring, providing us with updates along the way (I’m a very anxious dog mummy). As part of her treatment package we had a few check ups to make sure her scar was healing well, every vet and nurse we saw was so lovely and made sure Maisy was happy. When I was concerned about the healing process they invited us back for an interim check just to give me peace of mind. The best vets I’ve used!
