I have been going to Parkhill Vets for 35 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The vet’s, staff and facilities are excellent and I trust them all 100% with my precious pets. I’ve had hens to horses and ducks to dogs and all have been treated with the same excellent care. Special thanks to Gordon Dunlop who has helped me through my dogs serious illness for the last 18 months. Parkhill Vets has excellent facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, and the caring team have a wealth of experience and expertise. I would like to thank Gordon, who I trust implicitly, not only for his knowledge of medical science, but for his commitment to always providing a standard of excellence – and for his patience with me! The nursing team deliver an excellent level of care, understanding both the needs of our pets and reassuring worried owners. We have used Parkhill Vets for many years for our many dogs and other small pets. The practice is organised, caring and always looking for solutions and ways to improve our dogs health. Recently we lost our 18 year old Jack Russel who has been helped through her later years using different medicines. We are so grateful for everything they do and continue to do. It must be so hard some days for the Vets, nurses and staff but they are always professional, kind and smiling. I’m not quite sure how they do it. X

Milo, my black Labrador has been going to Parkhill Vets for over 4 years since we moved to the area. He is almost 12 years old and has arthritis. It was recommended he started monthly Librella infections a few years ago which have transformed his quality of life….and put a spring back in his step! Every month I visit the surgery for his injection. I am always welcomed by the reception staff on first name terms and they always interact with Milo and make us feel extremely welcome. They know that he needs the mat putting out on the floor in the consulting room before we go in so he doesn’t slide all over and risk hurting his joints and will be more comfortable when lying down for his injection. All the vets and nurses are amazing- they really listen and make you feel extremely reassured that they have your pets best interest at heart. They have even given his injection outside the surgery on the grass area to minimise his stress. This week due to health reasons I was unable to drive and was concerned as to how I could get him to the surgery for his injection. I spoke to Julia, receptionist, who was extremely understanding. She organised his injection and dropped it at my house on her way home from work so I could administer it myself. What a first class service. Thank you Julia and the whole team for your understanding, care and compassion at what is a very difficult time for me. Christine
