I recently had to have a much loved cat euthanasia, his death was achieved very quietly and efficiently and the cat appeared to feel no fear, was calm and happy, and the vet was also quietly sympathetic and gave me time to say goodbye. I appreciated this greatly.

We have used Medivet for quite a few years now. We used to have dogs and cats and were part of a cat rescue organisation. Medivet has been our main vet for tests, neutering and on rare occasions putting an animal to sleep. We have been very pleased with treatment offered and the staff have been superb.

Very friendly staff and always willing to help answer any questions I have. Very clean environment also. Would definitely recommend anyone who's looking for a decent vets practice. They also have payment plans in place for people who might struggle with the vet bills.

Great place. It was very easy to book an appointment online. When I arrived I was seen on time. The vet was lovely and so were the support staff. I am very happy with the treatment I received.

I got my beautiful boy put to sleep here yesterday afternoon and cant thank the vets enough. They did everything possible to make my dog and myself and my dad comfortable. We were given as much time as we needed to say goodbye beforehand and afterwards. There was a particularly fantastic vet with pink hair who was excellent with my dog since they were having some trouble finding a vein (not the vets fault whatsoever). They kept telling him he was a good boy and offering him treats, giving him a good fuss etc. The vets also brought out a little stretcher for my dog to carry him in comfortably which I thought was really lovely. To top it all off, the lady behind the counter is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. They also have a candle and a sign that they put out when someone is saying goodbye to a pet to inform and ask other patients to be respectful. Thank you Medivets Horncastle for a lovely experience.
