We recently had the garage roof replaced by Dalton Roofing. The original was an old corrugated one that contained asbestos (removed separately by another company). Harvey came round to give a quote and recommended we go with a flat roof and felt, with 2 clear domes to add some natural light. Ash and his crew did a top notch job, the roof looks mint. They turned up on time, got stuck in, and always made sure to clean up after themselves, especially once the job was complete. We are very happy with the whole process of first contact to the completion of the work, and I will not hesitate to recommend Dalton Roofing in the future, and we will definitely use them again.

Excellent customer service from Dalton Roofing, especially Ruby, who took my enquiry, and Phil, who came out. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with another company. I paid them £100 for a roof inspection, and they quoted me hundreds of pounds for repairs that they deemed necessary, to put the roof in good order. The quote was rather vague, and I felt that it was leading to them finding more problems, and therefore charging me much more, if I agreed to them completing the work. I contacted Dalton Roofing, and explained my problem. My insurance company were insisting on a report, and work done, if it was deemed necessary, or my insurance would be invalid. This had to be by a reputable company who are part of a confederation. Thankfully my neighbour suggested contacting Dalton Roofing, which I did. Ruby was helpful on the phone, and arranged for Phil to visit the house today. He was very helpful, professional, and friendly. His inspection resulted in me being told that the roof is in good order, with no faults or problems, and will last for many years. Phil has restored my faith in decent, honest, and reliable companies, who are keen to maintain an excellent reputation. I will use Dalton Roofing if I need any work carried out in the future, and will be happy to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Phil, I can sleep a lot better tonight.

We finally took the plunge to replace the Derbyshire stone roof on our cottage, the main part of it being built in 1853 so tired didn’t come close. Phil (MD) came out to advise on solutions and was very thorough in inspecting the existing roof timbers etc. fortunately they didn’t need to be replaced and we agreed that Spanish slate would be the way to go being lighter than the existing stone slates some of which could be sold. The quote was competitive and we got the ‘vibe’ that Dalton’s would be good to work with so we chose them to do the work. The existing stone tiles were carefully removed and the good ones stacked for us to sell. They cleaned up every day before leaving and kept us informed on plans for the next day or two throughout. 3 weeks later, we have a superb new roof to the main house (100m2) and new flashing to the kitchen extension which hadn’t been installed properly some years ago. A great hard working team with special mention to Levente and Luke and site manager Paul. All overseen by MD Phil who clearly knew how things were going on site. Going into the process was a bit unnerving with the numerous ‘cowboy’ roofers out there but we are pleased to say we got the right firm in Dalton’s, they looked after us from start to finish, highly recommended!
