Excellent customer service from Dalton Roofing, especially Ruby, who took my enquiry, and Phil, who came out. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with another company. I paid them £100 for a roof inspection, and they quoted me hundreds of pounds for repairs that they deemed necessary, to put the roof in good order. The quote was rather vague, and I felt that it was leading to them finding more problems, and therefore charging me much more, if I agreed to them completing the work. I contacted Dalton Roofing, and explained my problem. My insurance company were insisting on a report, and work done, if it was deemed necessary, or my insurance would be invalid. This had to be by a reputable company who are part of a confederation. Thankfully my neighbour suggested contacting Dalton Roofing, which I did. Ruby was helpful on the phone, and arranged for Phil to visit the house today. He was very helpful, professional, and friendly. His inspection resulted in me being told that the roof is in good order, with no faults or problems, and will last for many years. Phil has restored my faith in decent, honest, and reliable companies, who are keen to maintain an excellent reputation. I will use Dalton Roofing if I need any work carried out in the future, and will be happy to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Phil, I can sleep a lot better tonight.

Very impressed with Dalton Roofing. We had a number of leaks on an old roof and two other companies had tried to fix them without success. We contacted Dalton who came out very quickly to assess the issues. Phil explained the problems and gave me options to consider. He sent me a detailed quote on the same day which I accepted and the work was completed exactly on schedule. During the job, I spoke to Jake who was doing the work. He was great; he answered all my questions, explained what he had done in detail and gave me real confidence that he had understood and fixed the problems. Communication from Ruby at their office was also great. Overall, Dalton have been excellent and I'd recommend them without reservation.

I have just had Dalton Roofing re-point my chimney stack including replacing 4 broken roof tiles. They did a neat job of repointing etc to a very high standard, cleaned my gutters afterwards and swept my path and back yard. The roofers were very professional and decent lads who respected my property. As agreed by Dalton Roofing and myself, they roofers took before and after close up photos of the chimney stack. The admin team always kept me updated by email. I know this day and age finding a trustworthy roofer can be very difficult at times which is why I fell lucky finding Dalton Roofing. Prior to finding Dalton Roofing I had been messed about by a few roofing companies who were a bunch of greedy time wasters. Dalton are reasonably priced and work to a very high standard. After Central Roofing replaced my storm-damaged summerhouse roof at short notice, I took them on to carry out a long-delayed roof refurbishment on my house and garage. This involved replacing and securing ridge tiles, fitting a dry verge to all gable ends, and replacing/reseating cracked and slipped tiles, along with repointing. Despite the complex roof layout, they did a marvellous job in just three days. Their staff were always pleasant and helpful, and everyone arrived when they said they would. The site was left clean and tidy. I can thoroughly recommend them for any roofing work.

The damage to our roof was more extensive than we initially thought which resulted in the job spec needing to be changed on the day, but this was quickly accommodated and the team stayed late to ensure that the job was finished on the day, which was appreciated. Communication throughout the process was good and the work appears to be of good quality. Would recommend.

We had been looking for solar panels for a while and decided to get a quote from Octopus but also asked a neighbour about their installation from JAL. We were very impressed by the level of service and the quality of the whole experience from JAL. We had several quotes from Sam Tebbs (Head of Solar) and we were not rushed to make a decision. Sam came to the house to answer our questions and complete a more accurate survey. Very impressed with what we finally decided on and I would highly recommend JAL if you are looking at solar and battery installation.

Just moved into my lovely new home, In Branston Leas, built by St Modwen, Already B rated for economy, but to go higher, Needed to install solar PV, a battery and diverter, In came JAL Roofing, as recommended by Marley, NFRC accredited and fully certified, A local company fitting superior products integrally, These panels replace the tiles and have a sleeker effect, No need to clean them each year to remove the pigeon nests, All installed in less than a week, Most of it while I was away on a break, All plugged in now, and generating power, Forgot to mention the battery on special offer, So I can charge my battery, car, or run the immersion on solar, That last thing means in the summer, free hot water, So, top marks to Sam and the gang for their outstanding work, If you’re looking for solar, no need to look further!

Apart from destroying my Christmas lights when replacing the roof and promising to replace/ refund the money, which I am still waiting on, the actual roof has been completed to a high standard. Labourers had the usual trade banter, and swearing on site which was sometimes in front of minors other than this they have completed the task to a good quality standard and we're generally friendly if supplied with copious amounts of tea and coffee!

We have had John do a few jobs over the years, he's very polite and knowledgeable in all areas of work he does. Recently we required his expert help again as our flat roof had sprung a leak, not only was he quick to quote he also patched our roof to stop further damage until he got around to coming and replacing it. I have to say we are extremely satisfied with our new fibreglass roof, the workmanship is top class. We highly recommend john and we will carry on keep using him that's for sure.

Phil and his team recently removed, insulated and put a new membrane on our leaky stone roof before relaying the stones. They ensured that the stones matched in thickness and size so that there wouldn’t be any issues in the future. The team were really hard working and friendly, they explained what they were doing and why and kept me updated. They even turned up when it was snowing and did what they could. I’m honestly so pleased I found Phil and his team and I recommend them highly.

I am very pleased with the new roof fitted by Phil and his team. They were very professional throughout the project. The team were all on site for 5 days a week, ensuring that the work was completed in good time. They took care to do all the complicated parts thoroughly and ensured that no rain got into the loft space. They kept a tidy site and were very pleasant to have around. Phil and his team have just replaced our main roof, lower extension roof and bay window roof. After being let down by two other roofing contractors, it's been a pleasure having Phil and his team. The work was carried out quickly, on time, with minimal disruption and we are really pleased with the quality.
