My son is now 5 nearly 6 and he started play and learn at 3 and all the staff are so approachable and helpful, especially Chris who I can’t praise enough as he has been a life line for me. All my worries I had teaching my son to read, if I was teaching the right thing, tips on ways to help my son, nothing has been too much trouble and Chris has spent numerous time free of charge talking through things with me.

My 6 year old son began Play and Learn when he started in reception and has continued to now (end of Y1). I can't praise the model enough. There is a real emphasis on setting core groundwork principles to support effective learning now and for the future. I love how asking questions is thoroughly encouraged giving my son confidence to raise his hand if he needs clarification. Owl learning continued throughout lockdown virtually and I've enjoyed supporting my son on his weekly call. The impact of attending this weekly class can be seen in the wonderful end of year report we've received. We look forward to September when the classes will resume. My daughter started last week at Play and learn. She entered nervous and got into the car buzzing! Didn't stop talking about what she had learnt all the way home. The staff are very friendly and provide a comfortable learning environment, they take your individual needs into account and adapt the learning towards the student, my younger brother also joined for tuition and they also helped. My son had Science and English tuition here during 2022. I can't recommend this place enough. He attended the Saturday group sessions as well as the 1-to-1. The tutors are diligent and they have a good process with regular testing of knowledge and attentive to each student's needs. His grade in English improved in 3 months, where the school was struggling to meet his needs.

My daughter started with PL Tutors in her final year of GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics . The tutoring had been amazing , the teaching staff have been very approachable and will bend over backwards to help . My Daughter started with Lyn in September 2023. I am extremely pleased with her progress. In just over a year, her reading age has improved by 3 years and 2 months. My daughter has gone from having a reading age much lower that her actual age to now having a reading age above her actual age. Her grammar and punctuation has also improved a lot. Being dyslexic, my daughter struggles with spellings, but Lyn is doing a brilliant job helping her with strategies help her remember her spellings. Since she started tuition with Lyn, we have noticed her confidence improving. Lyn is a great tutor, I highly recommend her.

My son has been attending Lyn for just over a year now. We wanted to seek a tutor for him to prepare for 11+ exams which he will take later this year. We have been really pleased with his progress so far, his confidence has certainly improved and we have noticed improvement in his school reports. You need to make sure you keep up with home support, but Lyn makes it easy to follow how to do this with a variety of tasks set and support even outside of your weekly times. She provides additional knowledge of the upcoming exams and how to book mocks etc. He really enjoys the sessions and I am confident that he is in a much stronger position now for the examination.

I have been attending aim higher tuition from year 11 for maths and I would say it is one of the best tuition services. Uzair helped me attain a grade 8 in maths GCSE (from a grade 6 in my mocks), and an A prediction for maths A Level. He explains and teaches very hard topics clearly and goes through difficult examples step-by-step which really built up my exam technique. Although tuition was online for several months, I still found it very helpful. In general, I found the teaching is at a very high standard and this service is a very good value for money. Being new to London, we had trial runs with multiple tutors for our daughter’s 11+ journey.
