We recently had our wedding reception at Bradley Hall and I cannot recommend the venue enough. If you are looking for amazing value, friendly, helpful and professional staff, gorgeous food and a fabulous setting then look no further. This is the place for you. Kerrie and Mollie have been fabulous from our first meeting, helping us plan our day and being determined for it to be the best value and the day we wanted it to be. Nothing was too much trouble and their friendliness and helpfulness all contributed to making our day fabulous. Guests gushed about the food, the outdoor seating area was well used and enjoyed and there are loads of beautiful photograph locations. The golf club members, without exception, were welcoming and also added to the positive experience. We can't thank the staff enough for such a fantastic day.

Nice clubhouse, bar and food. Sitting area outside weather permitting. Very good, although not the easiest of courses, well worth a visit.
Rating: 5 / 5
Great course and two different 9 hole challenges, one is moorland and the other parkland. Par 3s are great and each one requires a different club and approach shot. Greens are brilliant and pace plus line is a must. We will return.

From our first visit to Bradley Hall Golf Club, we knew that this venue could be perfect for our wedding and when we met Kerrie to discuss our requirements we definitely knew we had found the right place. Kerrie has been amazing throughout. She has great enthusiasm and a 'can do' attitude. Her knowledge of how to plan an event and suggest different options resulted in a perfect day. The food was amazing that Kerrie and her team prepared and we have already had great feedback from our guests. Mollie who is the Bar Manager significantly catered for our needs and Mollie and her team of bar staff worked hard to ensure that we had a great day and night! Our experience of Bradley Hall was second to none and without doubt we will highly recommend you to others. Carol and I had a perfect and very memorable day. And finally - Kerrie, you were the reason we chose Bradley Hall, first impressions proved to be lasting impressions. Thank you!

What a very friendly and well kept course. There were some very challenging and picturesque holes. Despite the 20mph wind that was against you on a lot of holes it was a great course to play and a real hidden gem. I look forward to playing it on a nice sunny day!

Unbelievable golf course. In amazing condition after the weather turned. Also, how on earth can you get a green fee for 22.50 here. I've paid triple that at some places than don't get anywhere close to this. A must play.

Amazing! My first experience golfing with a friend and it couldn’t have gone any better. The location is absolutely perfect with lots of well looked after fields and very friendly golfers. Everything is well spaced out and the practice facilities are clean and to the point. Ample car parking and great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

At Willow Valley Golf Club there are 3 golf courses, a driving range, a moderately sized practice putting area and a short game area. The driving range isn't the smartest ive seen but it is functional and is a welcome practice and/or warm up facility. The other practice facilities are great and well maintained. There are also teaching professionals who offer both individual and (very reasonably priced) group tuition. I have had some coaching from Joe at WVGC and I can highly recommend his services. I have played all three courses many times and they offer a good variety of challenge. 1) Fountain Ridge: This is the 9 hole course. It comprises of 6 Par 3 holes and 3 par 4s. All of the holes are relatively short but there is a nice bit of variety for such a small course (2 dogleg holes - one left and one right, some slight elevation changes and a few well placed bunkers). The course is very beginner friendly but is also good fun for golfers of all abilities; I sometimes play the 9 hole course if I'm short on time but still want to have a knock around. Be aware; it is a popular course and being so beginner friendly means you may well encounter players of a poorer standard or very young players etc. However everyone has to start somewhere (and this is a great place to do just that) so as long as you accept that on busy days you might be waiting a little, there should be no issue. 2) Pine Valley: The first of two 18 hole courses. This I would say is a good step up from the fountain ridge course, providing longer holes and more of a "full" golfing experience, but is still beginner friendly. With a slope rating of 97 this course is very forgiving. Most greens are open on approach and not heavily guarded by bunkers etc. The bunkers there are though, are well placed in areas, and at distances that are fitting for the beginner - intermediate golfer. Better golfers will not find a great challenge here but will still find a fun and enjoyable round of golf. I like to play Pine when I just want a relaxing round. I will say that the Pine course is very popular and can start to suffer from heavy use as the season goes on; tee boxes can be particularly worn at times, though it would be tough to keep up with so much traffic. My only real issue with Pine is that there are a lot of casual golfers who either don't know or don't care about the rules and etiquette of golf, meaning on occasion you can be stuck being groups who ignore much faster groups (or individual players) and insist on hacking their way slowly around the course as you stand on the tee tearing your hair out. I appreciate everyone is playing as well as they are able, it's just that there are rules in place specifically to tackle this issue. Failure to repair pitchmarks also seems to be a popular characteristic of some of the less golf-savvy clientele. 3) Willow Valley: the "Championship Course". This full 18 hole course provides a good challenge for any player. With a slope rating of between 129 and 137 (depending on tee box) it is a great test. There is a lot of water on this course, some tight fairways and an interesting variety of holes in terms of shape, elevation, length and hazards. Simply hitting driver on every hole is likely to get you into trouble and thinking your way around the course is advisable. I have been reliably informed the club actually removed a number of bunkers from the course a few years ago as it was felt to be too challenging! During the season this course is well maintained, the greens are typically quick and roll beautifully and I would recommend a round here to anyone who is serious about their game. I will add that, out of season, all three of the courses can get VERY wet and boggy in places - I have lost balls in the centre of the fairways at times due to balls plugging so deeply. However, there is a refund policy clearly displayed and the course is regularly inspected and will be closed if conditions get too bad. All in all Willow Valley Golf is a great club with a wide range of facilities and options for all abilities.

Footgolf: great day out playing footgolf. Very good 9 hole course wasn't too wet even though it had rained the night before. Only suggestion is that the path running next to it is fenced off. My ball went down there twice and was a struggle to get back up haha.
Rating: 5 / 5
Nice little 9 hole course. Not the most challenging but greens in good condition.
Rating: 4 / 5
Nice little course for mid to high handicappers, easy on the legs as its relatively flat, the different tee boxes on most holes keeps it interesting on the back 9. The greens were pretty good on the whole especially for the time of year. The only let down was the fairways, there a little bare in places and the odd tee box was a mess but again probably the time of year.
Rating: 4 / 5
We played footgolf and had a great time. 9 holes took just under an hour. Holes beed remarking but you can work out the order. Good value compared to other courses will definitely revisit.

Decent course for a novice but the price is getting really expensive when compared to local 18hole course that are just as good but without surrounding views.

Nice and quiet and ideal for novice or young golfers. Good range of holes (long and short). Can seem a little expensive if doing 18 but can pay for only 9. Cash only is a bit of a challenge though.

The course was lovely. Buggies had maps & and yardage, which was great. Buggies stop if you go out of bounds, they should maps & instructions for this Clubhouse & the punts were excellent.

New to golf and visited a few times now with my 16yr old son. Always a warm welcome, not made to feel uncomfortable with not being a member (yet). Out on the course everyone again is always friendly and understanding of us being new to the game. The course is kept in excellent condition. We both recommend visiting

Played as part of a large visiting party on friday 27th sept 2024 and what an experience. Members and staff couldnt have been more welcoming. As for the course it was superb. Tee boxes fairways and greens were in fantastic condition. The course has 27 holes with many memorable ones. A word of warning if you look at the scorecard it doesnt seem to long but its monstrous off the white tees (which we played off) because of the undulating fairways. On a final note the food was first class. Highly recommend

Had a good day here on Seniors Day. 27 hole course. Big thank you to Saul in the pro shop for his help and patience with explaining the card and where we get our shots. A bit confusing because there are three 9 holes courses with 1-9 strokes on each 9. The course was in excellent condition. I was very happy with my game but struggled on the difficult greens. (Used to flater slower greens 😅) we played the lakes course which is hole 1 to 18. The weather was amazing but very hot 🥵😫😅. Great day and looking forward to playing here again.

Good golf course with 27 holes. Green was not well maintained making putts quite frustrating. But other than that, such as customer service, was good!
Rating: 5 / 5
Excellent golf course to play, provides a good challenge to all! Staff are very friendly, make members and guests feel equally as welcome. I've made use of the tuition with head pro Lewis Clarke, both indoor simulator and on course lessons. In a short period of time Lewis has helped me to build a better understanding of my golf swing, build a better approach to practice and playing, ultimately lowering my handicap!

I booked a society day for work (32 people) at Moor Allerton in July. The staff were incredibly helpful, Alison could not have done more to create the day for us, from assisting with prizes to running around on the day. Junior and his staff were excellent in the bar making a great BBQ. Then George in the pro shop helping with tee times (some slow play) and getting markers out for our competitions. Couldn't recommend more!

This no longer exists as a golf club closed and the club house burnt down a few yrs ago. The land is open to the public and is great for walking dogs with access on to lofthouse colliery as well. Is a little stream running through one part.

Good course. Needs a bit of work to make it a great course (and 5*). Has potential to look beautiful.
